Solindas Rest. Located on the beautiful New River.
Great place to stay anytime of the year. 2 miles from historical Hinton. 5 miles from Sandstone Falls. River access points within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for fishing, kayaking, hunting, or hiking. A quiet peaceful getaway.
I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The house itself was lovely! Very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for what I had planned as well with the convenience of being just outside of town. This will be where I plan to stay anytime I go back to Hinton!! Sincere thank you to the host for providing such a wonderful experience.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The place is quaint and very clean. The home updates are lovely. The owners were very prompt with all communication. We hope to be able to stay again!
Beautiful home across from River. Clean, cozy, and safe home. We will definitely be back for another trip in the spring/summer. The owners were so nice and accommodating. Offered to let us stay after check out time due to road conditions. Wonderful experience!! 10 out of 10!
I booked this house for my mother and Uncle for a family wedding. The pictures are accurate to date. The house was very very clean and well kept. The owners were responsive with communication. My mother doesnât do steps well, but the back door had perfect access for her. Will definitely book with them again!
Thank you Ronald for giving my family a safe and beautiful home to stay in during there trip.
The house was so cute and decorated beautifully. Very clean. We had a beautiful weekend. The bridge is about 45-60 mins from here but so many beautiful stops along the way.
This cozy house was perfect. I am already planning to come back and stay in the spring. Our family who stayed is saving this little gem as well to return also.
Wonderful house, perfect home base for Bluestone and Pipestem State Parks, and some New River Gorge National Park locations! Very homey! We loved sitting on the porch watching the mountains and the deer.
Property was amazingly clean, and you can see and hear the river from the porch! Property Owner was kind and easy to communicate with! Would definitely recommend:)
We added a stop 1/2 way between Myrtle Beach & Pittsburgh. It was a last idea & owner was so flexible which helped to make it happen. The house was immaculate! Everything was perfect! Not one negative. He also shared some local secret spots along the river, local eats, and was generally so friendly. We will definitely be back next year on our way home from the beach & possibly this winter for a ski trip.
Rhonda and Ronald are amazing hosts, friendly, personable and seem willing to help in anyway they can for you to enjoy your stay. The house is very comfortable, quiet and extremely clean. Our evenings were spent on the front porch swing, enjoying the peaceful setting and abundance of fireflies which lit up the yard and trees (looked like Christmas lights blinking in the trees) truly magical. Thank you again Rhonda and Ronald for your hospitality! Joe and Christine
He property was beautiful , and had evwrything we needed. The host was so hospitable and worked wt us with no issues at all. The dishwasher nay have been broke was the ONLY issue i seen at all. Def recommend!!!
My husband & I live in Nc & my brother & SIL live in Ct. we love to hike & ride our e-bikes so we decided to meet at the NeW River Gorge national park which was on our bucket list so we went on VRBO & found this great house in Hinton which is in the south end of the park. Right down the road is sandstone Falls with a boardwalk. The house is newly remodeled & Rhonda did a great job of decorating & having everything you need down to coffee, creamer, & the small snacks were a nice touch & came in handy! We did drive a lot but that gave us a chance to chat & see the beautiful scenery of southern W Virginia! Gorgeous with all the foliage so green & lush, rivers everywhere & they were very full! We drove to Fayetteville to see the bridge & ate at Pints & Pies! Very good! There weren't many e-bike trails, more mountain biking but we did drive to the Greenbriar bike trail that is about an hour away & is 78 miles long! We then went & checked the the historic Greenbriar hotel! Found some abandoned towns in the park which was pretty cool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hinton, the house was lovely, beds comfy, cozy decor! We plan to come back! We like Hinton, cute town!
Thanks Ron & Rhonda!
