Spring is here! Enjoy it with a relaxing stay in this 3 bedroom 2 bath house that sits across the road from the New River just 2 miles from Historic downtown Hinton, WV.
If you have come to town to enjoy water/outdoor activities….there are two public River accesses just a half of a mile in either direction, Pipestem State Park is approximately 15 miles away, several kayak/raft rentals approximately 3 miles away, Sandstone falls just 6 miles away, and several hiking trails all around.
If you have come to town to relax and enjoy the scenery…..this house has everything you need for your time in the New River Gorge National Park area while listening to the sounds of the River. We have a large front yard with yard games provided, a covered front porch, a fire pit, and a picnic table for you to enjoy with 2 gravel parking areas on site.

Girls National Park Trip

This property and location were perfect for our girls trip to New River National Park! The house was clean and comfortable for everyone! Restaurants and stores are close by. The park is beautiful and rafting was so much fun!

The location of the property is perfect for those wanting to explore the national parks and state parks and close to towns with a lot of dining options. The property was clean and perfect for a family of six. Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking a stay in this area.

Beautiful and peaceful place

We loved staying here. We could easily get to the four main stops in the National Park. We loved being able to hear the river. Sitting on the porch in the early morning and evening renewed our tired spirits. Definitely would recommend this rental!

A Great Place on the River

This property was a great place to stay to enjoy the beauty of New River Gorge. The property was very clean and had a lot of little touches that made it a great place to stay. I think there was a glitch in the website that advertised more beds than there actually were, but it did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.

Sweet place

Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong.

Snow vacation

The home and property was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with new furniture. My favorite spot was sitting on sofa and beautiful scenery of rushing river just out front.

Girls Trip

The residence was clean and the basic necessities were provided. Check-in/out were both easy and the hostess was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns prior to our arrival. Very close to Sandstone Falls. Enjoyed the sounds of the river from the front porch. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

You won't regret staying here!

The house was super clean and comfortable and Megan made us feel right at home with some personal touches. The house had everything we needed (including a few items we forgot to pack), and being right by the river was so peaceful.

Great location, lovely house

The house was absolutely wonderful! Sit on porch and enjoy the sound of the River, munch on snacks left by the host, or play some games. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive to our questions as well. Highly recommend!

Quiet and quaint

Nothing fancy, but very peaceful and relaxing. The owner left thoughtful touches throughout the house (but bring your own soap and shampoo for the shower). Cleanliness is important to me, and the reviews are what sold me! The interior is pleasant, with no odors, and quite clean.

Neat and convenient place

Four of our family stayed here. It is very convenient and on the riverfront. The house is nice and the owners have put a nice set of touches in labelling the cupboards, and keeping the home well stocked. While not luxurious, the house was comfortable and cozy and very convenient for the various places we had to visit in the New River Gorge Park. Thank you.

Country Roads Take Me Home

I completed my MBA, became a grandmother and wanted to celebrate in my home state at the fair. Originally from WV I now reside in coastal NC and usually vacation in the mountains. This was a wonderful venue!! Exceptionally clean, great location (he loved jumping the rail to fish off the rocks) and so peaceful. It was great to come home! Thank you for the hospitality!!
