Good option for extended stay in the Philly area. Have multiple boys participating in lax tournaments. About 15 minutes from proving grounds and 25 minutes from West Chester where other games were played so it was a good option and easy to get to both venues.
Lovely little place to stay, located near a few shops and able to travel into Philadelphia within 30 minutes. The neighborhood was very quiet no loud neighbors or dogs barking all night so that was great! It is an attached house but I didnât hear the neighbors at all but home that we werenât too noisy for them. Host accommodated our requests for a travel crib and toys are at the home. The house is over 100 years old so it is very creaky when you are walking around, and when you are napping a baby. Parking is on the street right out front. It was nice to not have to stay downtown and have a quiet retreat in the evening. The tv had all the streaming services included.
Born and raised in the area I am filled with information on all of the surrounding things to do! I love being able to provide a more home-like experience for those folks who are traveling. I love to travel myself and so it is near and dear to my heart to have a great way of experiencing areas from a more "local" perspective.
This neighborhood is just so perfect for being close to the tri-county area as well as Philadelphia. Delaware, Montgomery, and chester counties are filled with things to do and just a short ride away Philly has it all!
The neighborhood is quiet and lends itslef to a more relaxed vibe instead of the fast paced nature of a hotel or city atmosphere.
It is a great mixture of "old & new". The preserved brick wall in the dining room sets a great mood for dining in while you are able to chat with those in the living room and dining room from the kitchen. It's a quaint and comfortable house that brings folks together naturally under the same roof.
