âąParties & Smoking: Absolutely no parties or smoking are allowed anywhere on the property. Violations may result in a $500 fee and immediate termination of your stay without a refund.
Cabin Amenities & Systems
âąNo Daily Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service
âąWell & Septic: Our cabin operates on a well and septic system. Please flush only toilet paper. Avoid disposing of feminine products, baby wipes, or other items in the toilet to prevent plumbing issues. Service charges resulting from misuse will be passed on to you.
âąFireplaces: Fireplaces are off from May 1st to October 1st. Please do not touch the logs inside the fireplace. Touching them can turn off the pilot light. If a technician needs to relight the pilot, the fee will be passed on to you. Do not burn candles or incense at any time.
Hot Tub Guidelines
Relax and enjoy, but please follow these rules:
âąUse at Your Own Risk: Please use the hot tub responsibly and at your own risk.
âąSupervision: Never leave children unsupervised in or around the hot tub.
âąNo Food or Drink: Do not eat or drink in the hot tub.
âąNo Alcohol: Do not consume alcoholic beverages in or before entering the hot tub.
âąCleanliness: No soap/bubble bath, food, or glass in or around the hot tub. Violators will be charged the additional fee for hot tub deep cleaning.
âąCover Care: Do not sit or stand on the hot tub cover.
âąCover Up: Cover the hot tub and secure it with the strap when it is not being used.
âąHeating Up: Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill, and replenish the chemicals in the hot tub before your arrival, so it may not be warm until later that evening or the next day.
Wildlife Awareness
Embrace the natural beauty, but stay safe:
âąSupervise children and pets at all times.
âąWildlife: We share this beautiful area with critters like raccoons, squirrels, bees, deer, bears, and other wildlife!
âąDo not approach or feed wildlife, including bears
âąBear Safety: Bears are dangerous! Observe bears and other wildlife from a distance (at least 150 feet).
âąDo not leave food in vehicles and lock your vehicles.
Insect Information
Our cabin is treated quarterly for pests. However, being in the mountains, you may encounter:
âąDead Insects: If you find dead insects, sweep or vacuum them up. This means our pest control is working!
âąMillipedes: Millipedes are common in the spring and summer, are non-toxic, and do not sting or bite.
âąLady Bugs: Ladybugs are harmless and common in the cabin, especially near windows and warm areas. They usually die quickly due to the low humidity and our pest control.
âąLive Bugs: Finding a few live bugs is common in the mountains and woods. No refunds will be issued for insects or bugs.
Maintenance
While we strive for perfection, things can occasionally go awry. If something isn't right, please let us know, and we'll address it promptly. No refunds will be issued for unforeseen maintenance issues during your stay.
Weather & Travel
âąMountain Roads: Our cabin is accessible year-round. Your car should have no trouble getting to the cabin â just go slow and steady.
âąWinter Weather: If there's snow, you'll need a 4x4 or AWD vehicle and/or tire chains.
âąNo Refunds for Unforeseen Events: No refunds will be issued for weather, natural disasters, power outages, acts of God, or other things beyond our control.
âąTravel Insurance: For peace of mind, consider purchasing travel insurance to cover rare events like extreme weather, fires, large power outages, large winter storms, or personal emergencies.

Before you leave, please:
âąWe take care of the laundry! So leave the beds unmade and used towels on the bathroom floor.
âąDispose of all trash in bear-proof bins
âąStart the dishwasher please
âąCheck for personal belongings and make sure you are logged out of the TVs
