The apartment was very clean and location convenient for my work. The parking was a little confusing and time consuming to get the permit, mainly because of my work schedule but it worked out ok.
The condo very clean and comfortable, ideal for 1 or 2 people. Appears to have been recently and tastefully updated. Pictures on vrbo are suprisingly accurate. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Easy communication with host. Highly recommend
Adequate clean accommodations that met most of our needs. Quick 15mins drive to our favorite beach, although remained closed, due to high surf advisory. 2nd fave beach was how we remembered it, gorgeous yet packed with people. Lovely walk on the community grounds was peaceful and relaxing. And the pool was great!
Condo was perfect for us. Very clean and nice new reno. We were travelling with another couple who stayed in the same complex and the only thing that would have made it better was space to dine together in the evening or hang out. In saying that though, there is a barbecue area at the pool that would have accommodated us all. Just two people travelling, itâs perfect. Host was responsive to questions. Would stay again.

We had a great stay! Hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. The space is a bit further from a lot say Kona and the beaches but for the price and if you have a car it is definitely a nice change of pace. Also note that almost everything is a good drive on the Big Island. In the village of Waikoloa (up the mountain a few miles from the beach) which had a great view, wildlife, great breeze. Leading to my next point of no AC. If you need AC I do not recommend, however many houses/apartments do not have it as itâs super breezy at night, I should have remembered this from when I lived here and even then I didnât have it. However, having your own space to cook is great because everything is wildly expensive in HI. The spot was great for us as we wanted to go to the beach etc and it came with chairs, cooler, towels! If you donât want a hotel experience I suggest this! :)!
We love the Big Island so much, which is why we chose to make it our home. We've spent our weekends exploring the island, and after you book a reservation, we share all of our personal favorites and recommendations! If there's something in particular that you'd like to do while you're here and want some insight, we're happy to help, just ask!
When we travel we prefer to "DIY" our vacations rather than the all-inclusive route. This is one of the reasons that we love Waikoloa Village; it's the most convenient community if you want to explore the different areas the island. If you're looking to enjoy some waterfalls on the Hilo side or Volcano National Park, you're much closer than if you stay in Kona or the Kohala coast. Want to enjoy the dining, or farmers' markets of Waimea, you're less than 30 minutes away! Looking for the best beaches on the island? We're ~15 minutes away!
If you've been to Hawai'i before, then you're likely familiar with the "1992 Tommy Bahama" vibes that most vacation rentals (and many hotels) seem to hang onto... We don't know why either, but we weren't satisfied! If you're looking for Tommy Bahama, you'll need to head to The Shops at Mauna Lani... Our condo is newly renovated and complete with modern amenities. All jokes aside, we actually do provide the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, which are notoriously the best!
