The house more than lived up to my expectations. It was very well appointed but also extremely comfortable for our family. Robyn was a communicative and considerate host, and we always had what we needed.
We had a lovely stay at this property! The house was spotless and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The screened in porch was such a bonus, especially on rainy days. The privacy was really nice as well. The house was a bit far to walk to the main beach with a toddler and a wagon full of gear but definitely doable. The walk to Marginal Way was lovely. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The owner was super helpful and communicative as well. We would definitely stay here again!
House location and appearance were excellent.
No running water early two mornings for several hours and had a gas oven explosion/fire.
Left four days early.
My wife, 1 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter rented this home for our week in Ogunquit. We only knew a little about the town and didnât know where to stay, but this looked like a great location and it was! Not so easy to walk anywhere with our crew but we walked often to the downtown area although we drove to the beach because we canât go anywhere without a hail of stuff. House was a great size, clean, great porch where we spent most of our week eating meals and relaxing. All the cookware you could need to make some meals. Plenty of parking. Great really nice restaurant right across the street called Jonathanâs. Trolley stops right outside of the house! If youâre looking for someone really close to the beach this might be a little far if youâre taking little kids but if it was just my wife and I we or adults could have walked anywhere. This spot is nice because itâs halfway between the beach and main strip and the Perkins cove area. Would definitely stay again! Hosts are easy and great communication.
Beautiful house in a great location!!!! My family and I enjoyed a week in Ogunquit Maine with easy access to everything. We really loved the screened in porch where we enjoyed family game nights . The owners were very accommodating, we hope to visit again soon!
The trollet stops right outside the house. Easy walk to the playhouse, beach or Perkins Cove. Attentive owners! Thank you for the wonderful week of memories!
Super cute house - perfect layout for a group of girls. We walked to the beach Perkins cove, the beach & dinner - no need to drive anywhere. Trolley stops right outside house took it downtown for a fun cute experience! Beautifully decorated & made you feel right at home.
Really comfortable and well located. We walked everywhere -- cove, beach, town. House was clean and well maintained; beds (mattresses and linens) and bathrooms were high quality; kitchen was well stocked; living room accommodated our family of five very nicely. Owners were super -- gracious and responsive. No complaints except the week went by too fast.
Great spot within walking distance to all. Clean and updated nice piece of property on the river. With a Trolley stop at your door. All it needs is a fence and to allow pets.
The house was perfect for our family. Three big bedrooms, the house is devided on three floors so ther is plenty of room for everyone. There is everything you need and more... The location was great, you can easliy walk to shops and restaurants and the Ogunquit Playhouse. If you can, you must see a show there, it was amazing!
The house was very comfortable for two families with plenty of space for everyone. The owner was very nice and very accommodating to all our needs, the place was very clean and very well kept. Location was great with a 10 /15 min walk to beaches and middle of town. The trolley stops right in front of the house in the event you don't want to walk. I would highly recommend this property.
The home is truly beautiful, certainly immaculate with a comfortable flair and conveniently located. Jean and Dan were very gracious to us (three senior women) upon our arrival and gave us a complete tour of the home, detailing the many great features of this property. Each room in the house is very tastefully decorated. . .a "Pottery Barn" home. The kitchen is outstanding, the beds in the three bedrooms are extremely comfortable, large soaking tub on the first level and wonderful walk-in shower on the third level. The house is walking distance to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, great restaurants, beaches, the Ogunquit Playhouse. . .and for fine dining, the established Jonathan's Restaurant is directly across the street where we had a great lobster dinner. Also very convenient is the trolley with a stop just adjacent to this home at $2 per trip which will take you to many destinations. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an upscale rental in the Ogunquit area. We hope to rent the property again next year as we enjoyed a great two-night stay.
We had a great 3 night stay here over Columbus day. The house is walkable distance to Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit, has plenty of parking, and easily fits 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could need, not to mention the double range stove/oven, a cook's dream! Closest grocery store is down the highway about 15 minute drive. The house is close to the main road, but we hardly heard any traffic. We had a really great stay, and the owner was always available for questions. Would definitely recommend this house!
Wow - a beautiful house, a beautiful location and beautiful hosts. Jean and Dan were gracious to open their home to us. We had a wonderful getaway weekend in Ogunquit. The house was perfect with plenty of room for all and included everything we needed. Close proximity to the beach, town, resturants and a perfect view out back. We can't wait to come back next year! THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE.
The Connecticut Girls!
We traveled with another couple and our 21 year old daughters and we all had plenty of room. The house is a bit close to the road, but otherwise, the location was fantastic. The home was very clean, well maintained and decorated beautifully. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need if you choose to cook. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is great for walking to everything (great restaurants, shops and early morning walks on Marginal Way). Jean was so accommodating with any request I had and gave great restaurant recommendations. We loved Joshua's in Wells and Roberto's for Italian right around the corner. Jonathon's is right across the street and we had a nice meal there our first night, but thought it was a bit overpriced compared to all the other restaurants in the area. We drove to Kennebunkport one afternoon and had a great lunch and shopping. For beer lovers on a rainy day we drove to Portland for a tour of the Allagash brewery (its free and you can make a reservation online). We definitely enjoyed our week in Ogunquit and didn't want to leave. We would stay again at Jean's home.
The home and amenities were excellent and I would reccomend this location and owners to anyone who is thinking of visting the area. Kitchen was second to none along with the bedrooms.

The house was a very comfortable for my family of six. It had everything we needed and the central Ogunquit location was very convenient with plenty of parking. The beaches, Perkins cove and downtown were easy access with the trolley stop in front of the house.
Our family enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. It is a short walk away from Perkins Cove and Main St. It comfortably fit the 7 of us. Newly remodeled and clean. Jean was very responsive and I highly recommend this rental.
We had a reunion with 6 old friends last week at this lovely house. The beds were marvelous, the kitchen had everything you would ever need, and the entire house was just perfect for us. I can certainly highly recommend this rental. Jean was so helpful. My only complaint is that we could only stay there two nights.
We had a great stay in this beautiful house in Ogunquit. The house had lovely amenities, was really well stocked and maintained and perfectly located halfway between Ogunquit's main street and Perkin's Cove. Our family could easily walk to the beach or take advantage of the trolley which stopped just steps from our door.
This vacation property is just like home or even better. Everything is updated, clean, bright and welcoming. The owners are very nice and make sure that you feel welcome with good customer service. We especially like that we had two families and one was on the upper level and the other in the lower and it worked perfect for our situation. All the little details of having sand buckets and boogie boards available if we needed them. I would love to recommend but also want to keep it our little secret for the next time we visit.
What a unique and beautiful place to go to enjoy a fantastic vacation! My Sister and I, along with our Spouses, wanted to spend our vacation together and Maine sounded like a great place to go. From the time we walked into this place til the time We left, We marveled over how much We all loved being there. Everything about this house exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is a cooks' dream...from the stove right down to the huge pots and Lobster utensils. Everything was pristine, and in great supply. Bedding was beautiful, slept great. Showers were wonderful, wanted to take the whole unit home with us. We loved all the windows throughout, makes the house light and airy. Location is in a wooded area, so when You wake in the morning You look out at a beautiful lawn and trees, lots of privacy. There is traffic out front but not enough to detract from the overall effect.
We are all ready planning on returning next Year and bringing more Family with us.
Kudos to our Hosts!!! You took outstanding care of Us and added the touches that made this stay extra special....Thanks!!!!!!
This home is a brand new rental hosted by Jean, who went way out of her way to make us comfortable. My wife has asthma, and Jean explained that while they were in the process of installing central A/C, it wasn't in yet. I said I would get a portable unit for our bedroom, but Jean insisted on doing it for us. What could be more thoughtful. The house is probably a 10-15 minute walk to the beach... less to shops and restaurants. Probably the only negative is that it is only about 100 feet from US 1 which can be noisy (but we live way in the country, so hearing any traffic is noisy to us). The rooms are all comfortable... great mattresses, showers, tubs, etc. A set of two stoves if you're that much into cooking on vacation. All in all, a great place to stay.
