Our quaint cabin offers so much. Located right off the ATV trails.
A "Little Bit" of God's Country is a small one floor cabin that is ideal for one person or a couple. The cabin is a one bedroom featuring a queen size bed. We named our cabin A "Little Bit" of God's Country because we want to share just a little bit on the glorious mountain that our little cabin sits on. We have enjoyed coming to the mountains to get away for over 30 years and made so many amazing memories. I hope your experience is just as amazing. The cabin is located 100 feet from the ATV and snowmobile trails, the Pennsylvania Rail Trail, near hiking trails, and a short drive from many state parks. There are many great eating establishments close by. We offer an well equipped kitchen or the opportunity to cook over an open fire.
Lovely home. Super clean, comfortable bed, 2 kinds of coffee makers, well-appointed. So quiet at night. I enjoyed riding my bike on the near by Pine Crest rail trail. Spectacular! Hope to return next year.
As someone who has frequently visits the area, this has been my favorite accommodations yet. The perfect location for a party of 2, especially if you're interested in the ATV trails. It was so easy to trailer in our SXS and access the connector trail right from the property! Lynn was informative and easily accessible if needed. Even went out of her way to turn on the heat for use prior to arrival (due to unexpected cold temperatures at the end of May). We will definitely be staying here again!
Small cozy house with some of the modern conveniences of life. Isolated enough to get 'away from it all' but close enough to basic services to not be totally out of it.
Stayed a weekend for our anniversary. Cabin was very clean and organized. Cabin had all essentials needed for any stay and the owners were fantastic to work and communicate with. Would definitely recommend!
What a great place to stay. Stan and Lisa ensured that my wife and I would have a wonderful weekend stay by responding quickly to my questions before the trip and provided some highlights for us to experience.
We loved our stay and love the cabin. It has everything we needed. We enjoyed the porch and playing outside and picking wild blueberries. Very convenient location to my family's home.
The Little Bit cabin was absolutely perfect. Lovely location, well maintained, & stocked with everything needed for a "just like home" stay. We were very pleased with our accommodations and would recommend it to anyone looking for a private setting for their vacation stay. The Mountain Top Provisions Restaurant just down the road is an excellent eatery too!
Lovely birdsong around a little cabin in the woods.
We had a wonderful time getting away to this little cabin. Very comfy bed. Lovely little kitchen. Wonderful back porch. A sweet cat that seemed to want to enjoy our company while we were on the porch. Very little traffic noise despite being close to the road.
We enjoyed riding our bikes along the nearby (20 min away) rail trails. Hope to return someday!
The property was set up very well. It was very clean and smelled very fresh and clean. It was very comfortable. It is in a prime location for outdoor activities. My wife and I hiked a very hard trail and came out of the woods after 4 nights. We were happy to have a message from the owners permitting us to check in early. Very nice of them. We would gladly stay there again.
This a great little play very inviting. The cabin was very clean and had most everything you would need. If your coming here for peace and quiet it's not for you. The only downfall was it was just off of a 2 lane road which was very noisy over the weekend. There's an ATV trail real close to cabin so you had the noise from the ATV's plus the vehicle noise. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Thank you!
This was our second stay at the Little Bit cabin and we absolutely love it. Itâs even better than the pictures, so cute and clean, and unbelievably well-stocked with everything you could possibly need! You wonât find better hosts, either. You can legally ride your ATV/UTV directly out of the driveway and onto the Connector trails (requires a permit from a DCNR Forestry office)âwe went to Germania, Cross Fork, down to North Bend, back up to Germania via a different route, then back âhomeâ to Haneyville, and there is so much more you can get to as well! But we love the cabin so much we will likely be back even after the trails close for the season. :)
Property is wonderful. One thing that would be helpful would be to add grab bars to the tub for those of us who have trouble getting in tubs. Or replace tub with just a walk in shower. Anything to improve safety.
The other reviews are spot on! I booked this purely based off of reviews and I can say that I packed 4x the amount of stuff actually needed because I went off of past experiences at cabins. It was so beyond well stocked it amazed me!! Itâs spotless and beautifully decorated and the furniture on the back deck is stunning. We actually loved it so much the the night before we were to leave I messaged the owners if it was available an extra night. Super speedy and response and we had an extra evening/morning of peaceful getaway!
