Most comfortable home away from home

We went for a little ski weekend and this house was so comfortable and perfect that I didn’t want to leave it! The hosts were so thoughtful in all the details, the amenities were spot on, and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever had away from home! This is a perfect spot for getting away!

Friend getaway to 7 springs

My boyfriend, friends and I stayed for the weekend to go skiing. The house looks just like the pictures, it is so cute and very well thought out! The owner is very kind to communicate with, they have put a lot of thought into the presentation of their home and business, with well thought out brochures of all things you would want to know being in a place you have never been. Check out is what I think it should be, lock up and put dishes in the dish washer and that’s it! I really appreciate the convenience of that! It’s nice to not have a long list to do and then be charged for cleaning on top of the list to do prior to check out. If we are out this way again will definitely stay here again!

Very nice little getaway spot

They thought of just about everything you could need. This house is very pretty and fairly close to everything around without sacrificing your peace and quiet. Overall my husband and I were very happy with this house for our vacation weekend.

Perfect Getaway

Another great trip at Highlands Hideaway! Heather and Nathan are the best hosts and always recommend amazing places to visit. Seven Springs offered countless activities even in the summer months! Our evenings were spent on the back porch unwinding and talking about the day's adventures. You will not find a more beautiful home centrally located to trails, golf, skiing, wineries, shopping and dining.

Cozy stay in Laurel Highlands

Had a wonderful time staying at the Highlands Hideaway! We loved drinking coffee on the deck and cooking delicious meals (the kitchen had everything we needed!). There was ample space for the three of us, and we appreciated that all three cars could fit in the parking spaces. Heather was so helpful and responsive in answering all of my many questions ahead of our trip. The cleanest space we’ve stayed in over the last four years of our annual trip, we hope to be back again next year!

Perfect home for a getaway to Fallingwater

We loved our visit through and through. This house is so lovely and no detail was missed. The Keurig bar was a definite crowd pleaser for our family. The high quality bath products also added a nice touch. The linens were great and the house was super-clean, beds were comfortable and it was cozy throughout. We would love to come back for another visit to explore this area in the Spring/Summer. Thanks for hosting us!

Perfect Getaway for Couples!

Highlands Hideaway far exceeded our expectations! The house was beautiful and offered so many amenities. The back porch was so peaceful and we enjoyed a glass of wine after a day of adventures. Highlands Hideaway is the perfect place for couples to reconnect and enjoy skiing, playing golf, hiking in state parks, relaxing by the waterfalls and covered bridges. Heather and Nathan were excellent hosts and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We are already looking forward to booking our next trip!

Central location wonderful stay!

This property was perfectly designed and intentionally created to be a home away from home that fulfilled every need. Down to QR codes for a welcome booklet and WiFi passwords, every kitchen appliance, even ziplock bags so you can pack a picnic for a local hike. Check in/out was easy and communication was quick and responsive. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Nothing was more than 30 minutes away, easy to access wonderful spots such as Flight 93 Memorial, Fallingwater, Laurel Hills State Park where we hiked to lovely Jones Mill Run Dam, biked along the beautiful bike path in Ohiopyle and enjoyed the quaint covered bridges around every corner! The house is beautifully decorated, AC is perfect on warm summer nights and everything combined to make for the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful area of PA! The only minor thing I would recommend is that if you are a sleeper that needs a dark room, the sun shines bright into that master bedroom early in the morning. My eye mask easily took care of that 😊. We hope to return soon!

LOCATION! We wanted a centrally-located vacation home so we could spend our time enjoying all the Laurel Highlands has to offer vs. spend all our time driving to-and-from! Highlands Hideaway is less than 20 miles in any direction to the most beautiful and popular sites. Nine miles to Seven Springs, less than 13 miles to Ohiopyle. The location was perfect!
