Fish in the ocean or bay, hunt, relax, paint, paddle board at this adorable 2 story cabin in a lakefront setting. The Cabin has been remodeled from an old rustic workshop built in the 70's to a great up-to-date little hideaway. Pet friendly. Minutes from South Island boat landing at the intracoastal waterway leading out to Winyah Bay and the lighthouse or head south to North and South Inlets. Bring your boat! Mt. Pleasant and Charleston are about an hour south or Pawleys Island 20 minutes north where you can find great beaches, shopping and night life. On the balcony, all you hear are the birds and the breeze with an early morning coffee. No worries!!
Cute house in a nice location. Owners of the property were extremely nice when I Spoke to them. Will definitely be getting in touch with them again the next time we go down to South Carolina.
Clean, comfortable cabin. Owner very friendly and knowledgeable about local fishing. Convenient and peaceful neighborhood. Two adults and two teenagers stayed for 3 nights. Fished the local rivers. Had everything we needed.
We loved staying at Deb and Chuckâs cabin. It was adorable and exactly as described. The area was so peaceful and quiet. It was close to Georgetown and everything we needed to do. Deb and Chuck were wonderful to communicate with and were extremely helpful if I had any questions. We will definitely stay there again when in Georgetown.
Chuck met us when we checked in. It was obvious that Chuck had put a lot of work in the cabin. The wood work was impressive, the bathrooms were modern and the setting was peaceful. Itâs the perfect place for boaters on Winyah Bay, the intercoastal waterway or North and South Santee Inlets. Great porches to relax on after a day on the water.
This was one of the best VRBO stays we've ever had. It was perfect for fishing (just a few miles to a great ramp). There is plenty of room to park a boat or two. This is an ideal spot for a romantic weekend away or two couples. The pictures are deceiving as it's much larger than expected. There is two living room spaces and lots of table seating. There is also an outdoor living space AND both upstairs and downstairs porches. It is tastefully decorated with ample kitchen utensils. It was historic, rustic, peaceful.... I'm in love! Eclectic decor (I would have decorated it the exact same way). The A/C was robust (thank heavens) as it was outside. Speaking of outside there is a pond with fish and an outdoor fire pit. Brandi, I'll call her the community dog came over for a visit. What a sweet girl. Free dog with booking (just joking, but she was THAT sweet - that you'd almost want to).The cottage is close to town, but far enough out to offer peace n quiet. It was a nice drive - not too long - but just far enough to get that relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for. (We had stayed in town before and had to worry about neighbours and where to park the boat). If mosquitoes are not your thing bring bug spray. They are manageable - suck it up buttercup (it's 100% worth it for the views and the peace)! Paul the property manager is 2 thumbs up! He was available for any questions (we had none, but still). This place is heaven on earth.
