The Indigo House- Located in the heart of Historic Hannibal, Missouri
Nestled in the heart of Central Park Historic District this historic and family friendly home built in 1860 sleeps 8 comfortably. Experience a newly renovated home with free wi-fi all while enjoying Hannibal's Millionaire's Row.
My husband, myself, our son, daughter, son-in-law and 11 month old grandson stayed one night in Hannibal. The location was good, home was clean with nice size bedrooms. One bedroom and bathroom were on the main level. There are several steps to the second level which was fine or us, but if you have difficulty with steps be aware. The water pressure was not very strong when taking a shower, but worked for us.
We had a small issue with a week battery in a smoke detector and the host got it taken care of it the same day we reported it. We were there for the birth of our first great grandchild and the house served our needs. It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay. The host was very professional and very friendly. If I am in the area again in the future. I will check to see if it is available and would recommend it to others.
The Indigo House was the perfect choice for our girls getaway. Beautifully decorated old home with plenty of gathering spaces and a great location right near all the sights, shops and restaurants!
This is a wonderful old house close to downtown that has clearly been restored with love. Impeccably clean, comfortable and the kitchen was easy to cook in. Communication was great with Amber and she was most helpful in meeting an unexpected need. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to again someday.
We only came to Hannibal for an overnight family event and the Indigo House was perfect for our 4 adult couples. The house was spacious and beautiful. Hope to stay again.
We were in town for a family get together and this house was perfect. The kids had somewhere to watch tv and hang out while the adults could sit and talk. Very nicely decorated and cozy.
The home was beautiful, perfect location for our golf outing. Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and do a little shopping in the downtown area!! Thanks for your hospitality!!!
6 girl friends having a fun evening ,took in the night Christmas parade and then chilled back at the house having a fun evening of games an old movie and lots of interesting conversation. The home was exquisitely decorated for the holidays. Thank you for sharing your home with us
Beautiful property with plenty of space. Comfy beds, big rooms, plenty of towels, coffee, water, candy. Walkable to downtown. Great communication with host. Quiet street. Loved our time at the Indigo House and will book again.
I felt like we were using a friends home while they were away! The little extra things like a bowl of candy made us feel welcome. Thank you for a great place to stay for our special weekend.
We loved the house! Beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. We also really appreciated the coffee station and bottles of water. You thought of everything! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
The Indigo House was amazing. We enjoyed our time there with family celebrating a 60th birthday. The rooms are spacious and the separate living quarters was a bonus. Our only suggestion would be to have a king bed downstairs that is easier to get into. Thank you for an amazing stay at Indigo!
I booked the Indigo house for a girls getaway weekend // bachelorette trip. The house was amazing, spacious, clean, and welcoming. The dining room table and living room are both huge - perfect for entertaining.
I would absolutely book this house again. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with providing ideas and things to do in town.
Home was very nice. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was missing some supplies to actually cook in and knives were very dull. Had some four legged visitors leave surprises in some kitchen drawers.
While traveling through the area we wanted a charming place to rest. We had three adult couples. We were overwhelmed with the beauty and space of this property. Excellent use of the rooms, tastefully decorated, and comfortable beds and furnishings. Room to relax. Limited bathroom space (but creative adaptation for a historic home). Each couple had comfortable quarters and gathering areas. We loved our stay in this beautiful home and wished we had scheduled extra time here. Definitely recommend
The photos of the house don't do justice to how comfortable it is. We had 5 adults (one couple) in our group and everyone had a comfortable bed. The house was comfortably air conditioned, each room had a large TV, the kitchen had everything you need, large table for eating and gaming and a good sized living room where we unwound after a long day of sightseeing.
All of our interaction with the hosts went through Amber who was responsive and extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
This place is it! We loved staying here. Hannibal is a lovely place, and I wouldnât want to stay anywhere while here. Plenty of space, beautiful decor and history. The only odd part is we never spoke to the property manager. Not even a response when we sent messages. Not a deal breaker, everything was fine, we never needed anything. It was just odd. Weâd definitely stay again.
I am from Hannibal and love showing people around town and my husband and I LOVE old houses. I love learning why people are visiting Hannibal and love hearing what people love about the house.
