Maison de style Prairie restaurée datant de 1925 située dans le quartier historique Maple Avenue d'Hannibal, à quelques minutes de marche du centre-ville d'Hannibal et du fleuve Mississippi.

Confortable et élégante, cette maison est parfaite pour des vacances en famille, une réunion entre amis ou une escapade romantique.

Caractéristiques: Salon spacieux avec foyer au bois et bibliothèques intégrées; Salle à manger pouvant accueillir 6 à 8 personnes avec buffet de service et portes françaises; Cuisine bien aménagée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer et servir de délicieux repas. 3 Les chambres à l'étage sont spacieuses, avec un mobilier d'époque soigneusement sélectionné, de nouveaux matelas moelleux et une literie fine et confortable. Animaux acceptés (frais supplémentaires sur approbation). WIFI gratuit et Roku TV.

La maison a beaucoup de détails fins - tels que les boiseries dans les salons et salles à manger, un escalier bien conçu, des étagères à livres autour de la cheminée, une armoire à repasser et un placard à chaussures, la petite bibliothèque de la "Vieille pépinière" et l'espace "Away" dans le couloir à l'étage encadré de fenêtres.

Cette maison est parfaite pour les clients qui recherchent une expérience de maison historique authentique. Lors de la rénovation de la maison, nous avons conservé autant d'éléments d'origine que possible. Ces éléments historiques (boiseries, fenêtres, éviers et toilettes, carrelage, quincaillerie, comptoir de cuisine d'origine, etc.) montrent leur âge sous forme de patine. Notre approche de la conception consiste à être sensible au passé des maisons et à adopter ses caractéristiques historiques authentiques. Nous n'extrayons pas tout et ne créons pas une maison moderne à l'intérieur. Pourtant, nous avons de nombreux équipements modernes à la maison, tels que la climatisation centrale, le WIFI et la télévision Roku.

We enjoyed our stay in Hannibal. Very lovely property. The host was a great communicator. Appreciated that we could bring our dog. We enjoyed morning walks towards the downtown area and river.Street parking was close and easy.

Noted also is your mention that the home can “use some updating.” Let me take this opportunity to address your comment. As stated in our listing “This home is perfect for guests who are seeking an authentic historic home experience. In the home's renovation we have preserved as many original features as possible. These historic features (such as original woodwork, windows, sinks and toilets, tile, hardware, original kitchen countertop etc.) show their age in the form of patina. Our design approach is to be sensitive to the homes past and embrace its authentic historic features. We do not rip everything out and create a modern-day home inside. Yet we have many modern amenities in the home, such as Central Air Conditioning, WIFI and Roku TV” Architect Jim Smith and I are design professionals dedicated to restoring historic homes, offered to guests who also love historic homes and their features (not to mention, at a very reasonable price!)! We encourage all prospective guests to read our entire listing and view our photographs to become acquainted with the quality of accommodations, as well as the historic experience we offer. We DO NOT plan any “updates” to this home that would eradicate the home’s past, and thus destroy the warmth and character that we have worked so lovingly to restore. Folk arts festival stay

Met my brother and sister in law and their little dog for a long weekend. We enjoyed the festival and other area sites. The mansion on the hill has a great tour. The house was comfortable and historically interesting and offered a wonderful living room area to gather to talk.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Hickman Bond house! It was just as the listing stated. In a unique neighborhood of mansions and turn of the century homes. Close to down town Hannibal, restaurants, the pier and shopping. You will not be disappointed!

Historical wonder

We came to go to the steam punk festival in Hannibal, Missouri, And found this gem to stay in for the weekend. Every bit of this house is charming and a delight to the eyes. There was ample space for our group And everyone enjoyed the house and its amenities. It does have a few old house quirks, but that’s to be expected and a wonderfully charming old home. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful historic home.

This is a lovely old home, beautifully restored. The host was great and the home has everthing you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked and nice seating areas. The fireplaces, wood trim and doors are beautiful. Bathrooms have very ornate toilets, sinks and clawfoot tubs. Everything is very clean. It was within walking distance to downtown tourist attractions, shopping and great restaurants. Would highly recommend.

This home had distinctive historical architectural detail. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. Kitchen had modern touches while staying on theme. Kitchen chairs were historic, but uncomfortable. Shower water pressure was appropriate for house age. Kiddo got a kick out of the pull chain toilet flush.

Due to an issue with this property, we were unable to stay here, but the owners informed us in plenty of time. They had another propety in thr area that we could stay. They were great with communication. The house was cleab and well taken care of.

A beautifully restored home

This property was absolutely amazing. I was completely obsessed with it. I loved all of the little old home touches that were still there in the house. The neighborhood is a tad run down but that is one thing I love about what the owners are trying to do here. There are a ton of renovations going on in the neighborhood right now. We did not feel unsafe at all. We went for walks around the neighborhood to look at the homes. There is plenty of outdoor lighting and cameras. Plenty of room and great additions like the keurig and assortment of coffee. The front porch is great for just hanging out. The owner was wonderful about staying in touch. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog along with us as well. I highly recommend this property!

Childhood memories

Can not really think of any thing to criticize. Security for those who are not Hannibalians was EXCELLENT. Locks on all doors are very secure. Excellent preservation yet modernized for today's technological environment (Internet access/ gas heating as opposed to the coal heating that existed when I lived there and modern utilities (when I lived there diaphers were still cloth so you can guess about washing machines and stoves and stuff like that). Yet everything else reflected the time of when the house was built (I lived there for 6 years back in the fifties).

Peaceful Weekend

It was a nice quiet house that was nice and comfortable to visit with old friends. Wasn’t a long stay and very cold weekend so we stayed at the house most of the weekend and was very inviting.

Lovely 1900s home near downtown Hannibal. Nice bedrooms and beds. There was a plumbing problem, which was addressed quickly, but will require a future repair. Owner very responsive.

Charming, classy and cool!

This home has been beautifully restored. We loved all of the original hardwood throughout the home. They have decorated with antique furnishings, decor and even dishes. We felt safe in the home and the neighborhood. It was fun to walk around the area and see other beautiful homes that have been lovingly renovated.
