The location of this property was perfect. Right in the middle of downtown within walking distance of restaurants and Rupp arena. Condo was clean and just as described. Went for a girls trip and the condo was spacious and comfortable. We did have trouble getting in when we got there. Our code worked for the main door and elevator, but not the room. Reached out to owner and issue was resolved within 10 minutes. The other suggestion would be some TV instructions and potentially the cleaning person confirming TVs are setup before checkin. The TV in the bedroom with the window worked, however the living room and 2nd bedroom TV would never connect to the internet and therefore wouldnât work with any streaming services. Had to connect through a hot spot on my phone and completely setup the YV in the living room from scratch. Bedroom TV worked once connected to my personal hot spot, but never would connect to the internet in the binder. Really more of an inconvenience but should be an easy fix. Overall enjoyable stay and would stay here agin if traveling to Lexington.
There was no guidance for parking given until the day before we arrived and surprise! Every option required at least 10.60 per day and up to 30 per day. This should have been "mentioned" in the 4 months between our reservation and arrival. The apartment wasn't very clean. There's a ton of mold around the rim of the sinks that "fell" into the sink every time we used it. It's pretty disgusting. It was clear that previous renter had spilled something "sticky" on the floor and it hadn't been cleaned up completely. Our shoes stuck to the floor most of the stay. The building apparently has no oversight, nor does it appear that there is any scrutiny when apartments are being rented. Twice, parties with more than 15 people occurred on our floor. These were also short-term rentals and lasted well past midnight. The music and screaming was easily heard from every room in our apartment. The whole place really smelled like pot the whole time we were there. It was like the previous renter hot-boxed it just for us. It was bizarre. Ironing board is non-functional. That was another surprise purchase. The couch was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The final kicker is that the mattresses (in a time when a decent mattress in a box costs 200) were the worst we've slept on in 30 years of travel. It was the ultimate short-cut and we all paid the price for it.
This is a great location to walk downtown.
Would like to see some TV or streaming services included. I'm not a fan of logging in at a VRBO.
Place was very clean, check in was easy, check out was simple. Code set up for doors and elevator was the easiest, I appreciated that. Much better then trying to remember random codes we received from other stays.
Property great and good communication from the property manager - very timely and proactive. The only constructive feedback is the floors were quite dirty. Mopping and sweeping would help. I would stay again
The condo was perfect for our UK parents weekend stay! It was close to everything and the unit was clean and well stocked! Would recommend and will stay again!
We (4 adults) stayed one night for the eagles concert. Place was spotless. Easy to get to. It was a short walk to Rupp arena. Stopped in an Irish bar for a beer and then a Mexican place for some food. Plenty to choose from in the area. I would definitely use the place again if the opportunity should arise.
