This is a very nicely restored historic home. As such, keep in mind it’s built like a historic home (small single bathroom, bedrooms are small, window and floor units for AC rather than central air). But it’s obvious it’s had a lot of love put into it and has good character. Queen beds very comfortable. Good communication from host. Easy to get to from BSU.

Perfect stay in Boise!

This was our second time at the Historic Hideaway! It is close to town and has all the amenities we need plus a private soaking pool! Great communication with hosts! We can’t wait to stay again!

THIS PLACE IS AN AWESOME GETAWAY IN THE DOWNTOWN BOISE AREA. All the beds were super comfortable! The kitchen had everything you need and the dining area is ample for eating and enjoying family time. There is a full-size washer and dryer and a super cute secondary game room space. The bonus was the mineral tub in the back yard area. Super Relaxing! If you are looking to stay in Boise, I highly suggest you consider this downtown historic area property. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Great stay!!

We had the best stay at this VRBO! The location was amazing and the host was so easy to get ahold of and was very good at reaching out to make sure we were doing okay. They gave great recommendations for things to do/eat in Boise and the check in/out were easy. The place was so unique and just beautiful.

This is a wonderful property with prime location! Owners had nice welcoming touches, and the house is stocked with everything that you might need. Restaurants, shops, Greenbelt, downtown and university all within walking distance. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the spot! It is really close to downtown Boise, and it’s about 10-15 minute walk to downtown or to the park, which has the Greenway that runs along the river. The beds were comfortable too. We do wish that their kitchen was a bit better stocked some cooking oil and some additional spices would have been appreciated, we always cook a bit when we travel. The host was very responsive and were very nice, they helped us feel right at home! In fact we found that almost everyone we met in Boise was very kind and helpful. We love the city and we plan to come back when we can!

What we needed

Incredible area, beautiful house with character and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Just stayed one night as we were driving though but fell in love with the city and will definitely return and stay here again as it’s so close to everything.

The home was very clean and well cared for. The host is quick to respond to any questions. The camper in the back is adorable. Great location in regards to activities in Boise.

Great weekend getaway location!

Boise is a great city! This location is perfect; a block from restaurants, and a couple blocks from downtown Boise! Walking around this area is fantastic and just off Boise State's campus! Clean property! Great communication. Love this place and will be back for sure!

Loved this old house. perfect for two couples or two business travelers sharing a house. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. really comfortable living room and nice kitchen. amazing backyard with a geothermal hot tub that did not dissapoint

Boise Staycation

Only in Boise can your soak in a natural geothermal tub blocks from downtown. The owner of the property went to great lengths to restore and keep the early 19th century charm of the interior. Spotless and clean inside and out! Walking distance from all the trendiest bars and coffee joints! The owner Chase exemplifies "Boise Nice"

Excellent, fast and patient communication

The owner was patient and answered all my multitude of questions, as I hadn't booked with VRBO for a number of years. The home was clean and prepared and we fell instantly asleep after our very very long day to get there.
