Enjoy all the modern conveniences & updates while experiencing the charm of a 1920's historical house. Enjoy time together in the open concept living room, dinning, and kitchen. Watch the sunset in the enclosed front porch, and sleep in comfort on one of the 3 beds in the house. You will have plenty to do being 2 blocks from downtown Castle Rock; close to trails, restaurants, parks, the outlet malls, zip-lines, and so much more. Close to Denver and Co Springs. This house will not disappoint!
This charming renovated historical house was ideal for my family of 3 while we visited CO. The house was clean with all the comforts of home including a front porch that gets great Sunset views. Walking distance to the main strip with shops and restaurants. Bonus is the great view of Castle Rock and walking distance to hike it. I would happily stay here again.
We loved staying at this property. The cottage is very cute and has everything you need. It was clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the outside porch of an evening, The location is awesome and you can walk everywhere. We will definitely stay here again!!!
My husband, our two sons, and I stayed for almost a week at this charming home while visiting family in Castle Rock. The house was comfortable, with great beds! The hosts were incredibly accommodating. We needed three beds, so Jenny kindly provided a new air mattress and had it set up for us since we were arriving late. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a basket of snacks, which was perfect as we were starving. This lovely home made our stay truly enjoyable.
Who doesn't want to stay in an adorable cottage?! Add to that perfect hosts, perfect location, comfortable beds and easy check-in. We were there for our son's wedding and with all of the comings and goings and planning, we never had to think for a moment about any issues about the place we were staying. I'm already trying to find an excuse to go back soon.
We're visiting grandparents and we find having our own place helps our kids and grandkids maintain their rotine while providing us the quiet time we need ti remain energized. This was just a perfect spot. So much nicer than a hotel room with all the amenities we needed for a home away. The view of Castle Rock was an unexpected joy. Right out front and to the right...amazing. We really enjoyed the hike to the top. We didnât spend much time in town but enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing many of the old houses. We will come back again.
Cute little house with great location for all things downtown Castle RockâŠquaint shops, restaurants, coffee, and a fantastic gluten free bakery! Short downhill/uphill walk to all! Close to a grocery store for all your food needs. House is definitely small and historic but a great alternative to a hotel for short visits. Kitchen is adequate, beds comfy, hot water was great, and AC good for warmer days and nights. Nice front porch that is enclosedâŠprobably great for winter days but a little stuffy on warm days. Washer and dryer located in basementâŠa bit musty which does give off that âgrandma houseâ smell to the house. Neighborhood was quiet. Castle Rock has several parks to visit (Phillip Miller being our favorite) and you can even hike to Castle Rock. Overall a great little place to stay when visiting our daughter and son in law!
What a wonderful place to stay in downtown Castle Rock! This home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and that sun porch was the best. We will be back!
The house was equipped with everything we needed- towels, extra sheets/pillows, kitchen essentials, etc. The welcome book had great info for local restaurants, and the house was an easy walk from everything in downtown Castle Rock. Hosts responded promptly, and even reached out to let us know that we were arriving into town the same day as the Star Lighting celebration- they even offered to save us a spot to park if needed!
The listing says 2 Queen beds in one spot, which IS accurate, but the written description mentions 3 beds, which is not. It wasnât an issue for us, but if you need 3 beds this is something to be aware of.
Check in and access to the house were both very easy. Iâd recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay in Castle Rock.
