Chez SoColisa est un élégant condo 2 BR situé au 4Úme étage, Suite D4, de The Cliff at Cupecoy.

SoColisa a été développé comme une résidence pour son propriétaire et non comme une propriété de location de vacances. I almost don’t want to write a review bc I don’t want this place to get booked up and never available when I want to go back!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The entire property and amenities are amazing. The apt is kept immaculately and you have everything you need. They give you beach towels and beach chairs/umbrellas to use. It’s walking distance to Orient Beach (10/15min walk) but the car provided with the property can get you there in 2mins! Fred was a great host and extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

The condo was exactly as described and the owner was great. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that we were pleased with the accommodations. Everyone should be like this - it was a pleasure dealing with him and the people that worked at the property. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Most Outstanding Condo in St. Marteen

I can't say enough about this place it literally made our stay magical. We have stayed in a number of AirBNB however non compare. Outside of it being super clean, well appointed furniture and comfy beds it also was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need during a beach vacation, (i.e. pool towels, chairs, coolers, yoga mats, suntan lotion, seasonings, bottle openers and the list goes on! The owner Fred was phonemonal to work with, he contacted us weeks before the trip to give us tips and restaurants options, he included housekeeping mid-week during our stay and provided a really nice SUV + Cell phone for us to get around the island (which is necessary). We had friends traveling with us staying in other units and they were all jealous of our condo! Our boat day was cancelled at the last minute due to mechanical issues and Fred helped us rebook with another captain and treated us to lunch for our troubles. The only that we didn't love was the TV's in the bedrooms don't work great with the streaming internet (very spotty). But the TV in the living room works perfect! All in all we can't wait to come back! And when you book make sure to have the concierge book a massage on the beach, so worth it!

An Amazing Family Vacation at the Cliff of Cupecoy.

From the moment I started communicating with the property owner I knew I was in good hands. Fred was an amazing host! He guided us through the reservation process and the property was better than advertised. The very spacious unit was exceptionally clean, had beautiful views and was perfect for our family of 5 (Parents and three teen/pre-teen children). I cannot recommend this place enough. I have been coming to St. Maarten for 20 years and this is by far the best place I have stayed at yet! For those that are worried about the condition of the building....DONT Worry.....The Cliff is back and in fantastic shape. What an awesome experience

My wife and I went on this trip to celebrate both our birthdays and our anniversary. Fred's accommodations were amazing. The condo was just as the pictures represented, but they were even cleaner and even more spectacular. He assisted us with excellent dining and activity recommendations, provided a car as well. I can't recommend his property high enough. You won't be let down, trust me on that! Thanks for a great stay and experience, we'll surely be back again!.

Fantabulous!

This place exceeded our expectations. It is first class. This 2 bedroom condo was spacious, clean, loaded with all the amenities a family could need. The appliances were top of the line. The decor was tasteful. The beds were comfortable The balconies were spacious... and the view...oh the view. It was glorious. To top it all off the car was included in the price. We loved exploring the island on our own schedule, not having to worry about taxis. It was perfect. The condominium complex was quiet. It seemed to be the slow season. So we had the pools to ourselves. We did not get to try the onsite restaurant because it was closed when we were there, but that was fine. There are many restaurants within walking distance or a short 5 minute drive. We were 5 minutes from the airport and Maho Beach. Even closer was Mullet Bay. This beach was amazing. Quiet, low key and pristine waters. Fred was there to great us on arrival. He was very accommodating and helpful. He has thought of everything a traveler would need. You won't be disappointed with this lovely place.

The most beautiful place in SXM.....

My husband and I have visited SXM for 9 years, and of that, 6 of them have been spent at Chez Sol Colista, and we’re booked again. That in itself speaks for how much we love it. The property is stunning, well appointed and clean. If at any time we notice some small thing we feel needs some attention, Fred is immediately on it whether he is on the island or not. For us, it’s like home away from home. Fred has pride in ownership, and throughout the soon to be 7 years that we’ve spent a vacation there, he continues to maintain and keep his property in excellent condition. Marcia, the housekeeper also has pride in her work. When you arrive at the condo, it looks and smells clean and so welcoming. Many people asked us if we aren't interested in going to other islands. Truth is, we have gone to many other islands, and basically one Caribbean island is pretty much the same as the next in our minds. For us, one of the most important things is feeling safe and enjoying the space you live in while away. There really is nothing one is lacking in this condo. Fred has thought of everything including wifi, and phone service to stay connected to home, and a clean vehicle for getting around. Fred has other places on the island, and there’s no doubt all would be at the same standard as Chez Sol Colista. My husband and I have become ‘the go to people’ for friends and colleagues inquiring about where to stay in St Martin. Our oasis. Jack & Nancy

Amazing property with an amazing view.

It was a very good experience from the beginning to the end. The facility was very clean and the condo was perfect. Fred was there to greet us, and show us around. He was also available to answer questions during the week. The car was a huge help. I would not recommend doing this trip without a car. The ability to call back to the states on a landline to keep in touch with our kids was very helpful. It was an all around great experience!

Great Vacation and Beautiful Place to Stay

This was our first stay in St. Maarten. I'm so glad we found this condo and the owner Fred. The place was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was as presented on the website or better. The Cliffs is a wonderful and secure place to stay. The view from the balcony was spectacular!! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the nightly breeze blowing through the suite was so relaxing. It was great to be able to sleep with the sliding doors open. The beach and pool area were beautiful. The SUV provided was a great benefit. My husband and I scheduled massages in the spa. The massages were the best we've ever experienced. The massages were so good that we returned later in the week for a 2nd massage. Well worth the cost!! Lastly, I must comment on the owner Fred. He was very helpful and informative throughout the entire trip planning process. He always responded very quickly to any of my inquiries, before and after we actually booked the condo with him. He greeted us with a nice note and bottle of wine waiting for us in the condo. On our last day, while we needed to check out by 11am, our flight didn't leave until 4pm. We were allowed to stay at the resort and enjoy the pool and restaurant even after checking out. They watched our luggage at the front desk. Fred was even so kind as to offer to drive us to the airport. It was so nice to have been able to meet him. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again and to recommend his rental unit to family and friends traveling to St. Maarten.

Beautiful condo,great price!!!!!!

We arrived a day late, but Fred still greeted us at the condo. He had a nice bottle of wine and showed us the condo in great detail!!! He is an outstanding person to go out of his way to show us everything in detail. The condo came with a phone, and a car!!! My husband loved being able to keep in contact with work. The views from the condo are breathtaking!!!! We watched the planes and the cruiseships roll in. The condo had everything we needed and fit our family of 8. We got to know the housekeeper real well. She is very nice!!! It flelt like we had our own personal maid. I can't say enough good things about the condo. It is in a great location. My girls did comment on the sofa sleeper saying how comfortable it was. It was a queen size! My boys wanted it after that. I would not hesitate to rebook this condo. We hope to return to this beautiful island!

We visited St. Martin for the first time this May and we stayed in Fred's condo. When we first arrived, we were in awe of the immaculately clean and beautiful entrance to the complex. There are direct views to the ocean from almost every window, all which showcase the crystal blue water. Fred met us upon arrival and accommodated our (much earlier) arrival time. He gave us a thorough tour of the condo complex (gym, pools, saunas, etc.) and our personal condo for the week. Everything in our condo and in the complex was extremely clean, updated, and in great working condition. We were extremely impressed from the beginning. Fred was even so gracious to greet us with a card, wine, and host us at his place for a cocktail hour. We had a lovely time and loved meeting him and some of his family. My family loved the amenities of the condo and the area. My daughters and I used the pools and gym daily, my wife loved the sauna, and our condo had a gorgeous balcony that we spent our waking hours on when we were in the condo. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and clean, the bathrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen/living area was fantastic. The kitchen had plenty of space for any food we picked up in town and was stocked with any cooking need we could have needed. Overall, our week-long stay at Fred's condo was not long enough. We could not have had a better time in St. Martin, and we loved being able to use the rental car (that came with the condo) to explore the island. We highly recommend staying in Fred's complex, and we truly hope we can return sometime soon!

Another Great Stay at Chez SoColisa

We stayed at this rental exactly one year ago and were so impressed that we booked it again for our 2016 trip. This condo just gets better and better and we had another fabulous stay. This year we arrived to a new sleeper sofa in the living room (pictures have not been updated as yet), new outdoor cushion covers and a new car. Fred is always updating and maintaining the condo in tip top shape. We had the opportunity to spend a few hours with him this trip and he is a remarkable individual who takes his rental business very seriously and it shows. We can't think of a better place to stay and hope we will be able to return in 2017. Please refer to our review from April 2015 for more details but you can't go wrong with this rental. Just book it - it is a little slice of heaven.....

The Best

Jim and Flora Batten can't say enough about this place. All you read in the reviews is true. This is our fourth year. Flora and our daughter spend two weeks each May, and the whole family spends 6 to 9 weeks each October, November and December. Would never consider anywhere else. Great views! Awesome deal! Just book it!

I echo all of the wonderful things folks have said about Fred + this property. Location: convenient and breathtakingly beautiful. The views from the balcony are beautiful. It is close to the airport, restaurants, and a bustling area that is easy to get around. Amenities: The condo is everything you would want in your home: large TVs with lots of channels in both... the TV in the living room has more channels that my full package at home. The sound system is AWESOME! The kitchen area is fully stocked for all of your cooking, eating, reheating needs. Everything is modern and well taken care of. The included car and phone truly come in handy and the car is in better condition than any rental I've driven on SXM. The grounds: Beautiful! The view is gorgeous. The swimming pools are amazing (we used them both regularly - the indoor lap pool and outdoor pool). We were here on a much needed break (some friends came along and booked another unit). It was perfection. I would recommend and will definitely return.

From the time we arrived at Chez SoColisa, Fred was there to greet us with a bottle of wine. My wife myself and my wife's sister and her husband were there to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Fred took the time out to show us the condo as well as gave us a tour of the swimming pool, hot tubs, steam rooms, sauna rooms also the gym.I can't describe how great the place is, one has to experience it. The condo is very well equipped with all the facilities that one would need. The view of the ocean, what can i say, U can be in the kitchen cooking, u can see and hear the waves. I highly recommend this condo for anyone who is visiting ST. Maarten. Condo is walking distance to a casino, restaurants, the mall is just 2 blocks away as well as grocery shopping.

Wonderful Condo

Fred & Linda were off island when we arrived but Fred sent a very capable substitute to let us in to the condo. Once the tour was over we were able to look around & really appreciate what a great rental Chez SoColisa is. It is a well laid out & spacious condo. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook & enjoy meals. The Keurig machine came with a large selection of coffees and teas. The large bedrooms have very comfortable beds and great storage. TV’s in both bedrooms as well as the living room were a bonus. The beautiful bathrooms come complete with tons of towels & plenty of hot water & great water pressure too. We didn’t spend much time indoors because the weather was so fabulous the week we were there but the living room/dining room would have been a comfortable place to watch TV & hang out on lazy/rainy days. The best part of the unit for us was the ocean front balcony & we spent a great deal of time out there. The furniture is very comfortable. It is shaded all day despite facing in a somewhat southerly direction. It also has screen doors leading to the inside – a real rarity on the island. It allowed us to turn off the AC and keep the doors open without letting the bugs into the condo. You could hear the waves crashing against the shoreline below and the views were drop dead gorgeous. It was fabulous. The fast reliable WIFI, free phones, washer/dryer, daily maid service and free use of a car with secure garage parking are all added pluses that make this unit special. The Cliff itself is a wonderful property – extremely well maintained with a welcoming & helpful staff. Although we never used the indoor pool and gym, we did visit to take pictures. They are quality facilities. We did use the outdoor pool & there were always ample chaises & umbrellas available no matter what time of day we got there. We love the Cupecoy area. No traffic & easy to access to the other parts of the island. There are plenty of close by restaurants & shopping if you don’t want to explore. The Starz casino is across the street. The beach below the Cliff is stunning & easily accessible through a secure gate & down a flight of stairs. The amount of sand varies from day to day but there was always enough beach available to drop your gear and take a swim in the ocean. Thanks Fred for a great stay.

Therefore, if you rent Chez SoColisa the chances are very high that I will be on island and personally help get oriented to the property.
When I am not in St. Maarten I reside in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, DC.
I love SXM so much that I have continued to buy vacation rental properties in Cupecoy. Overtime I established a company, Lemon Drop Cove, LLC that owns and also manages seven properties in Cupecoy, five of which we own. The other two are 3BR condos at The Cliff that we manage for other owners.
Lemon Drop Cove, LLC. manages seven vacation rental properties in Cupecoy. Three in The Cliff, two at Blue Residence, one at Porto Cupecoy and one at Shore Pointe. All of the properties are first class and maintained in immaculate condition. We have managed to earn and enjoy outstanding client loyalty. Repeat clients are the foundation of our business.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I bought some timeshare weeks at the Sapphire Beach Resort and therefore started coming to St. Maarten annually for a couple of weeks. I feel in love with St. Maarten and the convenience of Cupecoy. Therefore, when I learned that The Cliff at Cupecoy was going to be developed I bought in pre-construction. As they say, 'the rest is history'!

I lived at Chez SoColisa for the first 15 months while it was being furnished and decorated. I love the building and its amenities. There is a strong sense of security due to the design of the complex and the quality and stability of the security staff. The underground parking you will enjoy at Chez SoColisa is located on the top floor of the garage and directly across from the elevator that will take you up to Chez SoColisa, suite D4. There is a great air conditioned fitness center and pools available for your use at your discretion. Many residents of St. Maarten have expressed a desire to buy memberships to the gym. I served as Chairman of the HOA board at The Cliff for the first 4 years of its existence. We consistently rejected these revenue-generating proposals to preserve the privacy and convenience of the fitness center for the owners and their guest, including renters.
I love the convenience to a variety of beaches within walking distance (including the beach at The Cliff) and on the French side of the island. This includes both traditional beaches and clothing optional beaches.
I love the variety of excellent restaurants in the immediate area of Jordan Village and a couple of minutes away by car in Maho and at Puerto Cupecoy.
Chez SoColisa is a two bedroom condo and the pricing presented on the website is for two bedrooms. Please check with me about the lower one bedroom rate that is available upon request.
Lastly, we provide a fully insured complimentary SUV for your use during your stay. It will likely be either a Haval H4 or a Nissan Rogue based on availability and/or your preference.
