The Seymour - Modern townhome with hot tub in Girdwood, AK

Built in 2023, this modern open plan 2 bed, 2.5 bath townhome has incredible views and luxurious finishing, perfect for a relaxing stay in Girdwood, and a great kickoff point or home base for your Alaska adventures. The townhouse is fully equipped and thoughtfully designed. There are 2 private decks, one facing the mountain, one facing a creek, plus a dedicated workspace. Located in the core of Girdwood, it's a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, nature trails, disc golf course, library, the brewery and more. (Note: Girdwood is 45 minutes from Anchorage).

Each bedroom has a queen bed with high quality linens and multiple types of pillows, and a full length mirror. The primary bedroom has a workstation to take virtual meetings or emails, separate from the main living area. The chaise in the primary bedroom is waiting for you to read a great book or take an afternoon nap. The bathrooms have towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and hair dryer.

Rain or shine, The Seymour is light and bright inside and is a special place to relax and unwind, especially after a day outside in AK. Views from the many windows look out to mountains, trees, a creek and even glaciers. Sit outside on one of two private decks and enjoy the scenery in the fresh air. A three person hot tub is on the back deck.

There are great restaurants in Girdwood, but if you choose to cook, we have what you’ll need. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, high end pots and pans, baking dishes, waffle maker, and over 20 spices. Clean up is made easy with a full size dishwasher and large sink.

Full size washer and dryer is on the top floor by the bedrooms. Laundry soap, a small ironing board and iron included.

The Seymour is in a quiet building of five townhouses in the downtown core of Girdwood. It’s on three levels with stairs going to each. This is a great spot for couples or a family with older children. There is parking for up to two vehicles included with the unit. (Guests do not have access to the garage). Access to the townhouse is using the keypad on the front door. You won't have to carry keys during your stay.

In the pantry, you’ll find tennis rackets and balls, a pickleball set and frisbee/disc golf set to use at the courts and course just a five minute walk from the place. There’s also a can of bear spray to take with you on your outdoor adventures, during your stay. If you want to stay inside, there's a Smart TV; log in to your favorite streaming service. (No local cable provided). There's also books, puzzles, and some board games to use during your stay.

Safety: There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors inside the townhome. We have a security camera/recording device on the front and back exterior doors. There is a creek/open water behind the townhome. There are multiple flights of stairs.

The owners have cats that periodically are inside The Seymour when the owners stay at the property in the winter. We are not currently accepting pets during guest stays. Fall 2025: Construction is happening on a commercial building in the front part of the lot. The building is framed and roof is going on mid-October. When they do work, it is typically weekdays during business hours.
