Great location in Girdwood and for exploring the surrounding areas. House was comfortable for the 2 of us. More than enough room. Kitchen was well equipped. Outdoor space looked nice but weather didnât cooperate for us. Cindy kept us informed throughout.
What a beautiful property and location! Everything is exactly as described and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Even though it is in the Esco woods, the property is absolutely spotless. It has everything that you need and everything is incredibly comfortable. The location canât be beat and is in walking distance to many things. We would absolutely choose to stay here again!
Our first time to Alaska and we really enjoyed staying in the cabin. We had everything we needed and our boys really enjoyed have board games and puzzles. Definitely will book again on our next adventure!
Our family had a great stay here! Great neighborhood in walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and the resort. Kids loved the loft upstairs with 2 queen beds separated by a half wall. They also enjoyed many games to play! Shower had hot water & good pressure. Beds were comfy! Would recommend to anyone!
This cottage was perfect for our family. Our kids were excited to find books and games in the charmingly loft. It has lots of windows and comfortable living room. Pretty flowers to greet us at the deck. Washer and dryer in the spacious bathroom. We really like the cottage. The owner seems to take good care of it.
We loved our stay here! Super easy communication and check in/out. Very comfy beds, excellent water pressure in the shower. Would definitely stay here again!
Great Cabin. My family and I loved this stay. There was plenty of room for my family of five. This is not a luxury cabin. It does not feel like your typical rental. It feels like you are staying in someoneâs home, maybe your grandparentâs. Great new appliances. The cabin is somewhat dated but very well appointed. It had everything we needed.
My two brothers and I rented this gorgeous cabin for my brother's 35th birthday. This cabin is perfectly located about 100 yards down the road from one of the Alyeska Mountain Resort parking areas at the Sitzmark Bar & Grill. What more could you ask for? We will likely be back next season.
HelloThis was a nice stay, however the listing says the house is for 8 people and according to what you sign it is actually for 6. We had a larger group so we were charged extra which is fineAfter doing our best to clean we were charged additionally for a cleaning fee due to pine needlesYou donât see the sign until after you get into the house but it says do not wear shoes in the houseWe did our best to respect this however pine needle being left caused an additional house cleaning charge. We would have vacuumed but the vacuum is not easy to use so we didnât vacuum after ourselves. Just be aware of this.I was also surprised about the garbage policy. There is no outside garbage can and youâre expected to bring garbage to the transfer transition if you have more than one bag? Very surprising and since itâs a minimum two night stay and 6 people your bound to go through more than one bag and additional bags were missing The owner is nice and responsive I am just disappointed about additional charges since itâs an expensive stay to begin with.
We had a wonderful stay with family. The home was clean, beds were comfortable and we had plenty of fresh towels. Thank you so so much. Communication with the property manager was always great and timely. The only issue we had was what to do with our trash at the end of our stay which we took home to put into our own trash can. I would highly recommend staying here. .
This cabin is owned by life long Alaskans. Doug grew up in Seward, and Cindy in Anchorage. We love living in Alaska and would be happy to assist you with ideas of places to visit, go fishing and hiking during the summer.
As avid downhill and cross country skiers, we were fortunate to be able to use this wonderful cabin during the winters for many years as it belonged to family friends. We were overjoyed when they offered us the opportunity to buy it from them. It is the perfect spot to ski down for a quick lunch, break or dinner if you are night skiing. It is safe and quiet and a great place for kids.
We spent our summer totally remodeling almost every aspect of the cabin; upgrading plumbing, electrical, appliances, and decks. It was a true family effort and our 17 year old daughter worked right along with us and was a blessing as well as a huge help!!
This location and scenery are truly spectacular. It is on a quiet dead end street. There is no need to drive anywhere. It is walking distance to nearby restaurants, bars, and stores. Nearby trails offer great hiking and biking and the shuttle is nearby.
