Welcome to Redstone Mansion, where breathtaking views of Celo Knob await. With an expansive deck, modern aesthetics, 22' ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling glass, you'll be enchanted by the surrounding beauty. Three spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms ensure privacy, while the curated mix of high-end antiques and modern pieces exudes sophistication. Relax in the hot tub, gather around the firepit, and explore nearby trails, shops, and restaurants. We are excited to host you!

Timeless yet contemporary—Redstone captures the essence of European living with its architectural and decorative expressions.

“We love formal living in an eclectic environment, mixing elements of French and Italian classicism with mountain living.”, Cranmer says—Cranmer built Redstone 15 years ago.

After 3 years of construction, Redstone emerged from the mountain side overlooking the Pisgah National Forest and Mt.Celo. With its unique location, Redstone offers some of the world’s best scenic views of water falls and trails.

Doric columns and stately double entry doors, composed of hand foraged iron filigree over glass grace the front entry way—guiding you to the beauty within.

The interior was designed with classic furnishings from Cranmer’s showroom in the South Florida Design District. Cranmer’s collection of antiques and fine furnishings are showcased in a grand setting.

The home just completed a $375,000 renovation—perfecting its 5 star experience.

Property amenities & accommodations

• Lofted library which overlooks kitchen and living area below.

• Place settings to accommodate an intimate affair or a gathering of up to 25 guests.

• Master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows of the North Carolina Mountains.

• The bathrooms offer luxurious toiletries, new bath towels and robes.

• Grounds featuring a water fall which flows into a nearby pond.

• Outdoor living space offers a hot tub, fire pit and outdoor fireplace with large viewing decks.

The entire main house is accessible. The Guest house is not open to the public. It is highly recommended that your vehicle has all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.
The house is right next to the National Forest. Less then 20 yards away from the house is an entrance to the forest. There are potential sightings for wild life, bugs and high winds due to the altitude and location of the house.
Thank you for reviewing these rules. Our rules may seem strict, but they are in place to protect your experience as guests, as well as our experience as hosts. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book. You will be sent a link with pre-checkin instructions.

1) Refundable Security Deposit - $500. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises.

2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge.

3) We also require all of our guests to upload a photo ID to their precheck-in portal to confirm their identity before we will give access to the property.

You will not be given access to the property until all pre-checkin instructions are completed and you have successfully remitted payment for the $500 refundable security deposit.

Below you will find a full copy of our rental agreement, which you will be required to electronically sign after booking:

SHORT TERM LEASE AGREEMENT

This Short-Term Lease Agreement hereinafter referred to as “AGREEMENT” is entered into by and between the guest:

hereinafter referred to as “GUEST” and REDSTONE STAYS LLC hereinafter referred to as “HOST” on the dates reflected on the booking confirmation. This agreement constitutes a contract between the GUEST(S) and HOST. Please read this Short-Term Lease Agreement thoroughly. Any monies received by HOST for occupancy of short-term rental accommodation hereinafter referred to as “ACCOMMODATION” indicates the acceptance of the terms and conditions of this AGREEMENT. It is the responsibility of the GUEST(S) to be familiar with all policies within this agreement. This occupancy will be in the form of a Short-Term Lease only and does not constitute a permanent or primary residence or other tenancy.

ADDRESS OF LEASED PROPERTY: {Property_Address}

GUEST RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING BOOKING DATES ACCURACY:

It is the Guests responsibility to confirm that their reservation dates are correct and accurately reflected on their booking confirmation through their booking platform and/or email confirmation. Any discrepancy must be resolved by the guest. No refunds or exceptions to the cancelation policy will be made for incorrect dates.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of overnight guests for this property is limited to what is stated on the listing. Maximum occupancy refers to any and all persons both visiting and staying overnight at the property. This includes vendors, visitors, or any person not listed and disclosed on the booking. If GUEST exceeds the maximum occupancy or does not accurately state in their booking request the number of guests on the premise, GUESTS and any and all of their guests are subject to immediate removal and forfeiture of their security deposit and rental payment. Any exceptions to this rule require prior approval by the Host in writing. The Host has the right to request an additional fee depending on the circumstances.

EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT

Guests understands that all early check-in/late checkout requests are subject to cleaner availability and host approval. Guests agree to pay all early check-in/late checkout fees immediately upon approval from the host. If the guests enter the property early without gaining permission from the host or making appropriate payment, they agree to be charged double the appropriate early checkin/late checkout fee.

WEDDINGS/EVENTS:

All weddings and events will be subject to approval and different pricing requirements depending on the nature and size of the events. Please reach out to host before booking for approval and pricing details. If you book before asking for approval to host an event, you are not guaranteed approval and will not be refunded if your reservation passes the designated cancelation period set forth in your booking. All weddings/events must be approved beforehand in writing by the Host. Host has the right to set additional requirements and rules based on the nature and size of the event.

SMOKING: This is a NON SMOKING property. No smoking is allowed inside of the accommodation whatsoever. Any GUEST or related person not adhering to the No Smoking policy will result in automatic forfeiture of security deposit and/or $1000 smoke remediation fine.

PETS: Pets are permitted only with prior approval of the HOST and payment for appropriate fees. No other pets or animals other than those specified on the Pet Addendum are allowed on the property at any time and violation of this policy will result in automatic forfeiture of security deposit and/or a fine of $250/pet in violation of this agreement. A GUEST with a service animal is required to sign the Pet Addendum and provide documentation that the pet is actually a service animal. Guests agree that the Host has the right to deny, or request additional payment in advance, for any booking at their discretion if he or she does not feel comfortable with the kind and/or number of pets being requested to be brought onto the premise (Unless such pets are licensed service animals). Unless an exception is made in writing, only dogs are generally allowed on this property (up to 3 maximum per booking). Guests agree to properly and accurately disclose any relevant details regarding the dogs breed, size, and history regarding violent behavior. In addition, all guests agree to pay the appropriate pet fee according to the rental agreement, which is $100 per pet per booking. So a booking with 3 dogs would typically be $300. This payment will be collected separate to the booking fee and must be paid within 24 hours of booking or the Host has the right to cancel the reservation. Any pets brought onto the premises without prior consent or payment will be subject to a $250 fine per pet.

ADDITIONAL PET RULES:
The GUEST understands and accepts that they are fully responsible and liable for all damage, including but not limited to, walls, floors, carpets, and any stains that any pet causes, regardless of the ownership of the said pet, and agrees to restore the Premises to its original condition at their expense.
The GUEST shall be strictly liable for the entire amount of any injury to any person caused by the pet, and shall indemnify HOST for all costs resulting from that injury.
The GUEST shall have their pet under control at all times and exercise respective due care.
The GUEST agrees to clean and remove all pet waste, inside or outside the Premises.
The GUEST agrees to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations governing their pet.
The GUEST agrees not to leave food or water for their pet or any other animal outside the dwelling where it may attract other animals.
The GUEST agrees to keep their pet from being unnecessarily noisy or aggressive to others on the Premises or those that may enter.

Absolutely Wonderful
Just got back from a long weekend with my husband and two children (13 & 16). The property is absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic views, wonderful outdoor space, and a gorgeous home with a great layout. We spent hours playing board games at night and sitting by the outdoor fireplace under the stars. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes into town but you're really in the heart of nature. We even woke up one morning to see a mamma bear and her two cubs right outside the window. It's clear how much thought and attention to detail was put into this home. My husband and I love to cook and have stayed in very few properties that have everything you need in a kitchen. Redstone was all that and more with a professional range and fully stocked kitchen. Owners we're attentive and quick to respond and even worked with us when we had a last-minute family emergency. Would not have changed a thing and we'll definitely be back.

Rented this property, the camper and guest house and it did not disappoint. The views were amazing. Great location for a wedding with the house and yard overlooking the mountain ranges. Gregory and the property manager were very accommodating. I would recommend this to others. Thank you for letting us have our wedding here. My wife and I can't wait to come back.

An excellent experience!
We just left the house and it feels like we left our home. The place is stunning with incredible decor and breathtaking views. We were fortunate to spend time with the owner and his spouse, which was one of the highlights of our trip. We're looking forward to returning in the near future.
