The house has a great backyard, spacious basement, and plenty of rooms! Kitchen could be a little more organized but there were plenty of dishes/appliances to utilize! Loved our stay
We had four come in for a concert weekend. House is great, lots of room for a large group. We enjoyed the back patio as weather was great.
Will look to rent again when we come back to area.
We had seven family members from multiple households, and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The property was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, so we could easily get to Red Rocks, downtown Denver, and into the mountains. The kitchen was very well stocked.
We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay at O'Kane Park Retreat. Our whirlwind in the Denver area included time in places ranging from downtown, through Lakewood & Morrison, as well as Echo Lake and Golden. The cozy, but deceptively spacious home was well located for us and the Host was extraordinarily responsive and helpful with a couple of hiccups we encountered.
Our family of tenâtwo adults and eight kids, from teens down to a three-month-oldâstayed for a few nights. The house was very clean, wonderfully stocked, and just right for our stay! We loved the eating nook in the kitchen and the beautiful yard (the bats and balls and cornhole boards were an extra perk). We watched a few movies and also enjoyed the ping-pong and foosball tables. The neighborhood is a pocket; itâs surrounded by rougher areas but was a nice island. The house was in a central location for our needs and so worked out great. The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful to our questions. Thanks for the good stay!
We were a group of eight all gathering to celebrate a birthday and see a couple of shows at red rocks. We were all coming from different directions and arrived and could easily check in. We found everything clean and in working order. The home is spacious, and all of us felt like we had comfortable sleeping accommodations. It was really great for a group of friends. Working with Genie the host was a breeze. she was really responsive. We really enjoyed the back patio where we gathered each morning to just enjoy the lovely backyard and each other. It was a phenomenal weekend.
The house is cute, and if we'd stayed longer I would have loved to use the awesome stove. My one piece of feedback is to update the instruction manual. It was out-of-date with regard to the TV remotes, the shower set up, and how to lock the front door. (That last one is most important - my husband almost didn't join us for dinner because we couldn't figure out how to lock the door...) The host was responsive, so that's always good. Check-out was more involved than with most places I've stayed - along with stripping sheets you need to start a load of laundry, and take the trash out to the street if you're staying on a Sunday for Monday pick-up. It's great to have some bedrooms on ground floor for those with mobility issues, and if the book gets updated that would be awesome. Recommend.
My family loved the house and the back yard, it gave us an opportunity to cook together and catch up after a year. The home and yard were in great shape.
I am a Colorado native & am not likely to leave this beautiful State. I like helping create a enjoyable vacation experience for travelers so they feel right at home.
