Cette belle maison est tout simplement un rêve Beach. Les propriétaires ont mis à jour tout, depuis les planchers de bois aux murs de plâtre vénitien aux matelas et décoration intérieure. Commencez votre journée à la plage privée en vous promenant dans la grande piscine (14'x30 '), détendez-vous au bord de la grande piscine (14'x30') et passez un moment agréable dans la cuisine du chef avec des comptoirs en ardoise.

Envie de se prélasser sur votre vacances à la plage? Choisissez l'un des nombreux coins privés et asseyez-vous avec un livre ou Zone en face de l'une des grande télévision écran plat. Avec beaucoup de place pour tout le monde à se détendre, nous sommes certains que vous conviendrez que ce rêve d'une maison répondra à vos attentes, année après année.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

The property was perfect! The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked so we could cook our own meals. The location was ideal! Walking distance to the food store and the beach. We did not need to use our car the whole time we were there. Beautiful beach that was not crowded and there was a life guard. Highly recommend!

Carefree Family Time

The rental company kept us informed on check-in, supplies needed, beach information, and check-out procedures. The house was perfect for our family--6 adults and 5 children (and 2 dogs). The house was very close to Harry Teeters grocery store which made shopping very easy. The accommodations were perfect--2 refrigerators, washing machine/dryer, 4 1/2 baths, showers on ground level next to pool. It was easy to rent beach and pool accessories and a highchair. The house was clean when we arrived and the only thing we had to ask for was a new propane tank for the grill. It was an easy walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend this house for a great OBX vacation.

Kicking Back at Beach Dreams.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent. The overall comfort and experience at Beach Dreams was great and enjoyed by our entire family. The design of the house and positioning of the rooms were perfect. Loved the sliding door access to the decks and pool from all rooms on all levels. The size of the pool was a great plus and the amenities inside and outside the house were spot on and responsive to our families needs. The only drawback was the inaccuracy of the distance to the beach. Wasn’t’t bad but was a 200 yard flat walk and the steps leading up and over the dunes were steep. Just EHD to call it like it is. You deal with it each day.

We'll Be Back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed our stay at Beach Dreams. Comfortably fit 8 adults, 2 children, and our dog. The property is well maintained. We visited during a really hot week and the upstairs A/C had trouble keeping up during the afternoon and early evening, but at night, it cooled right back down.The outdoor areas of the house are really well laid out and the double shower was a nice touch. Plenty of places to sit whether you are on one of the decks or in the pool area. The house itself is well kept and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of windows allow plenty of natural light when you want it, but there are plenty of shades/curtains when you want to keep the sun out.The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to prepare and eat virtually anything. Even had a crock pot!Beach access stairs: 17 steps up to the landing, 24 steps down to the beach.

Beach Dreams May 23 2015

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was as nice as it is pictured on the website. In fact, it included far more impressive showers than was pictured online (the master bath has a stand-up shower with multiple shower-heads). The property was clean and well equipped, with many kitchen utensils available. Some frustrations we experienced included the sound of the fan in the master bedroom, which has a disturbing, rhythmic noise to it - we spent the remainder of the vacation in a lower bedroom. The living space furniture was very uncomfortable, and not nearly large enough for a couple to lounge on together for any significant length of time. The keyless entry code that was forwarded by email to us prior did not work, prompting a need to call the rental office to get the code. Other frustrations, outside the control of Kitty Hawk Rentals, included noisy, immature neighbors that were loud late into the evenings, and illegal fireworks being set off, also late at night, by other nearby neighbors.

nice home

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as described. location was perfect from the beach as we had wanted. the wrap around decks on all levels were nice but not really ocean view. the barbeque we felt was too small for the amount of people that stay in the home. and would have preferred a gas grill as its difficult to get even temperature on charcoal. the last rental people prior to us didnt clean up the way i would have preferred. dishes had to be washed and silverware. coffee grounds left in coffee pot. pots were not cleaned etc. barbeque not cleaned out. i called management and they would send someone to clean but the point is i did not want to walk in to that. the cleaning service only cleans the home and doesn't go beyond. I dont believe theres an inspection after the clean up. this is where i was upset. The house was ready earlier and wasnt notified and i had to call. the keyless entry was a plus. the updates in home were nice and beds were comfortable. the only thing that i misinterpeted was the jacuzzi, we thought we had one but it was inside in one of the bathrooms. overall the house worked and we did enjoy.

Reviewer Comments: While slightly dated, the price and location was right for this home.Some things that are useful to know before booking:Pros:• Very well stocked with kitchen supplies, better than expected! (Drip coffee maker AND Keurig and even a crockpot!)• Good size TVs(with Roku’s) supplied in all rooms.• Several nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and 1 umbrella supplied.• 2 gas grills (with propane) and 1 charcoal grill• Nice size pool and hot tub with lots of seating around.• Tons of books and games.• 3 min walk from front door to being on the beach.• The community this home is located in does not allow public beach access so the beach isn't packed - very nice perk of this community. Cons:• No light outside in the pool/hot tub/grill area. Limits how late you can cook and hang out outside.• Zero privacy from neighbors & street and no shade from sun in pool/hot tub/grill area.• Thin walls and hollow doors mean noise travels EASILY within the house.• Fabric couch in the times of Covid made us uneasy - hard to disinfect.• Tile countertops in kitchens to me are always hard to keep clean (grout lines = bacteria).• Supplied linens did not include any type of towel to put on the bathroom floor for getting out of the shower - kind of a slip hazard, especially when there’s no shower curtain (in top floor master bathroom).• Drapes in bedroom has zero light blocking.• Stairs are VERY steep and not very wide, could be an issue for slightly less mobile individuals.

Thank you for your detailed comments and constructive feedback. The owners of Beach Dreams take pride in maintaining their home and make upgrades annually. Over the last 10 years, virtually all of the furniture has been replaced, mattresses have been replaced, all 5 bathrooms have been completely renovated, and the pool has been replaced. A brand new hot tub was installed last year. While the pool itself is bathed in sunlight throughout the day, the pool area space next to the house, and indeed under the house, provide plenty of shade for grilling and sitting if needed (that light switch to the pool area light is in the King Master nearest the pool access stairs!). The bath mats were pulled for the 2020 season out of COVID concerns, but they will be back in 2021! Hope to see you here again.

However, 2 of the bedrooms didn't have tvs in them, which were listed in the original posting. And the microwave was broken. The maintenance team came out twice but nothing was ever done about it. The house itself was mostly clean but the floors in every room had some sand. Overall, it was a great house and we would definitely stay there again

Quiet and Relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Many of the skillets and pots need to be pitched, they either had burnt on food or the coating was coming off. A gate would be helpful on main level if traveling with toddlers. We had a blind dog and had brought a gate but could not use it there so we just blocked the stairs off. Also mats needed at outdoor entrances to wipe your feet so you are not constantly dragging in sand. Hulu live TV was not working on several of the TVs. I sent an email and a guy came over to look at it but told my husband that we had to sign in with our Hulu password. He needed to sign in with the rental property's login credentials not ours, he did not understand how Hulu works. We enjoyed the pool and the grill. The walk to the beach was very short, maybe a city block. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Beds were all comfortable.

Fantastic Area!

We stayed three weeks at this property and loved every minute of it. It was very well stocked with cookware, plates, glasses and utensils. Pool was perfect! We wanted for nothing. It was about a 2 block walk to the beach and involved 53 stairs there and then 53 steps, not for any that is disabled. It is in a key area for food shopping, bars, donuts and ice cream. The house fit 9 of us comfortably. The decks were amazing and everyone could have personal space if they needed it. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious.We will return next year!

Location was great with walking distance to private beach. Loved pool ands hot tub.

Very nice experience! Bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces were great! We really enjoyed the pool area and proximity to the beach! My only challenge was I needed to clean a bit upon arrival. Lots of glass surfaces (dining table, living room tables, etc) were still fingerprinted and didn’t feel as clean as I would have liked.

Short walk to the beach even for the 8 year old down to the 2 year old. Dual outside shower's were a hit. Pool was a hit - Beach and low tide with lifeguard was great for the little ones. Even surfing was great - Only downfold was did not look like the place was vacuum before arrival dog hair everywhere even on bedspread - had to wash then, rolling dust balls everywhere - again had to vacuum. but that was okay as the house itself was fabulous. would rent again and again

Relaxing and Perfect!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for our one week vacation stay and the house looked just as the pictures portrayed. It was clean, organized and well equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were great sizes and worked very well for our multi family setup. The pool area was great, the street was quiet we found places to walk our dogs and overall had a relaxing and wonderful experience. The only feedback I have is to add a couple box/ floor fans as the two smaller rooms did not have a lot of air circulation and seemed to stay warmer than the rest of the house. Thankfully those rooms had kids staying in them which didn’t seem to notice as much. I definitely recommend this house and would stay there again!!

Fathers Day

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place and location, loved the vacation. I found the lock very difficult. Unable to get into the house when it was checking time (the dead bolt was on) Service man cam out and help. The problem was, when my husband called to info the company of our problem, the women informed him he should go out to eat dinner. What is that! Crazy and it just made him more upset. UNPROFESSIONAL I would have loved to had another set of towels in the master bedroom. Great vacation, thanks

Great home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was everything that I expected it to be and more! Loved the spacious pool area. Hot tub was a hit! A short walk to the beach was great as well. The kitchen was stocked as if you were home, everything there that you would need! Overall, my family had a fabulous time (even with hurricane Irma lurking). Close to everything.
