Vos prochaines vacances Outer Banks vous attend au camp d'été. Cette retraite spacieuse en bord de mer offre plus de 4000 pieds carrés d'espace de vie. Vos amis à fourrure sont les bienvenus aussi! Excellentes vues sur l'océan depuis le niveau supérieur et les ponts et la plage est à seulement 70 mètres. C'est une courte promenade au coin de la piscine communautaire Crown Point et des courts de tennis. I'd give the place a B+, could easily be an A+ with a few updates here and there and if the furniture in the patio enclosures were cleaned off before arrival (quite a bit of long standing grime on the plastic).

Good location but house a bit tired

We enjoyed our stay but the house needs some work. Sliding doors wouldn’t open in some of the rooms, walls were dirty and needed some paint, light bulbs burnt out in the bathrooms (but were quickly replaced when we called), the pool table is in terrible condition, and a few other areas they need work. It is on the beach and we were happy to spend time together as a family but I wouldn’t rent this house again. The management company was great and I would rent from them again. Just not this house.

Can't beat the location!

We have small children who take naps so the ease of walking to/from the beach made for easy transitions throughout the stay. Being able to hang out on the top deck to watch the sunrise over the ocean was priceless. We were disappointed with the general maintenance of the home. Most notably, the living room couches smelled foul so we kept blankets over them throughout our stay. Also, many of the air vents also were pretty moldy, which we only noticed because we had to open most of them up upon arrival.

Reviewer Comments: We would have had close to a 5 star review for all categories for our experience due to awesome location and the size of the home itself to accommodate all of us (9 grandkids) but the cleanliness upon checking in wasn't ideal. Some dirty tissues, paper towels, etc laying around on side tables, dirt in corners of rooms etc. The management company was great and very responsive to ALL requests, cleaning company though...I'd look for another ASAP!

Great House and Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was just as described. I did a wipe down of the handrails, which were a bit gross. And was glad that I checked the dryer lint filter as it was loaded, then checked behind the dryer and the hose was NOT connected to the pipe so that's not good. I didn't fix it but mentioned it to Rental co. Over all it was a bit well used, and could use some sprucing up but more than anything a good cleaning would go a long way. There are good king beds, but one of them was rock hard. Some folks like that, I cushioned mine with a bunch of comforters from other beds. I'd go back for sure. We didn't get to see the wild horses due to floods...Mother Nature was a real witch.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To begin, I recognize that our rental period was very late in the season (October). I also note that the services on OBX have been seriously hampered by the shortage of almost 2,000 workers from abroad due to the pandemic. But I'm being honest here. The Good: The location of the property in Corolla is excellent, great ocean views, generally quiet neighborhood, easy access to shopping and activities. The kitchen was well stocked. The Not So Good: The property is not well maintained. Lots of bulbs out throughout the house, Beach Realty maintenance was called (twice) in order to address an early AC issue. Yes, this is a 30 YO house...but it really shows the wear of constant rental. The cleaning was not great...e.g. hair on the walls of the MRB shower and the yard and grill was a mess. Doesn't anyone check to see if the grill is cleaned before the next renter arrives? We did not use it and refused to clean someone else's mess.

The location and the layout of the property are great. But that’s pretty much it. Bugs in the shower, leaky toilets, black mold, air filters that had never been replaced, spills from previous guests that weren’t wiped up, bedbugs to name a few things. I have been out of the house for two weeks and I’m still coughing, my mom was wheezing the whole time, my daughter got a rash and my dad was covered in bug bites. We left early because we couldn’t take the poor air quality any more. I never write bad reviews but felt compelled on this one.

Great location but needs upgrades

The inside needs upgrades and a good cleaning! The outside decking area and windows Ned to be cleaned and doors and screens replaced. Good location but not worth the money in my opinion.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the location, the steps were a little much but we were right by the beach. The house itself was the right size but dated. There hasn’t been much upkeep done to the house itself. The beds were ok and the house was cleaned.

Not very clean and and very outdated….. walkway to beach not as advertised …. Had a great time but wouldn’t stay there again

We still had a great time and we were thankful to be able to bring our pup!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we had a wonderful family stay for the week of Thanksgiving. the house was equipped with a lot of useful kitchen items, a working fireplace and the layout provided the kids to have their own space while the adults had theirs. overall the home could use a little TLC (mostly paint touch ups) but it’s a wonderful house with access to the public beach access (which felt private) only one home over with a path behind the house for quick and easy access. we loved it so much webooked again for next year!
