Met with family from up north for a fun week in the mountains. The location is perfect! Very clean, very organized home. PLENTY of space for different groups to chill, read, relax or nap. Pool was fantastic and right across the street. We had issues with internet the first day, promptly fixed after contacting the property manager. We did have issues charging our Tesla with the onsite EV charger, it wouldn't connect to charge (kept saying we had to have an account). This was never fixed by the property manager despite multiple attempts to contact them. However, we just trickle charged with a regular plug and was fine. Overall, would come back for another stay!
The location was awesome about 10 minutes away from all of the Gaitlinburg attractions. The cabin itself was across from the pool which was very nice. Overall the experience was great, a couple things for the host to work on would be internet connectivity (would go out daily for multiple hours at a time) and replacing the plates in the cabinet as they're not microwave safe.
We had a wonderful stay at the Selah home! It was spacious enough for our three families and had plenty of cozy areas to gather. We split our time between excursions, downtime at the house with puzzles and games, and relaxing at the poolâjust a 30-second walk away. The location was ideal: close to attractions and groceries, yet away from Gatlinburgâs busiest areas. Eden Crestâs free adult tickets for excursions were a bonus we recommend taking advantage of. Everyone appreciated the cleanliness and plenty of space for everyone, the grill, comfy chairs, and big TVs. Our 8-year-old gave it an 8.5 rating for the TVs, chairs, and proximity to the pool. Our 11-year-old loved the hot tub, game room, and convenience. The only issue we faced was ants in the kitchen. Management responded promptly, though pest control took days to arrive. Once treated, the issue was resolved quickly. Despite that hiccup, weâd return and happily recommend Selah to other families. I can't end my review without menitoning our bear sightings in the neighborhood. It was thrilling for everyone and we always felt safe. They were not agressive and just walked down the road. We kept our distance and used caution as we walked outside. Again, we never felt in danger and was the chef's kiss to our trip.
The cabin itself was very nice but there is construction going on next door and there were some issues with hot tub but the hosts made every effort to fix it. There are enough beds for eight people but the dining room table and living room really didnât not have enough seating for all eight.
