This listing is an architecturally designed single-family house that serves as my primary residence when I am in New Orleans. I list my house on VRBO when I am out of town for work. The house is within walking distance to a number of bars, restaurants, shops, coffee shops, parks, and local attractions in the Marigny/Bywater and French Quarter.
Had a great time. Steven gave us all of the info we needed up front, and he even let us leave our luggage for a few hours before our flights, which gave us more time to enjoy the city rather than sitting in the airport.
Steve provided a beautiful home with all of the needed amenities. Communication was always quick and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.
walking distance to Frenchman's Street and the Rusty Rainbow!
Plenty of local delicious restaurants to walk to as well.
We spent Dec 26 thru Jan 1 at this property. Myself, my husband and our 2 college-age kids. The layout provided private accommodations for all of us as well as space to gather and hang out. Everything we needed was provided. We've visited NOLA dozens of times in the last 30 years and this was the best property we've encountered.
This rental was absolutely perfect for our Mardi Gras trip! The location couldnât be betterâright in the heart of the action, making it easy to walk to local parades, restaurants, and all the excitement. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Yes, it can be lively at night, but thatâs to be expected during Mardi Gras, and we didnât mind at allâit added to the experience! There was also a homeless woman sleeping nearby, which may concern some visitors, but it didnât affect our stay in any way. If youâre looking for a true Mardi Gras experience with all the comforts of home, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay again!
I am an architect, born in Glendale, California. I came to New Orleans to attend Tulane University and graduated with degrees in Architecture and Historic Preservation, and developed a profound appreciation for this town's rich history and cool old buildings. I fell in love with this city and made it my home.
I want you to get the most out of your visit to New Orleans, and I will provide a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient experience.
