The Space:

The home features an open kitchen/dining/living area that boasts a classic cabin style with warm wood-paneled walls, a stone hearth fireplace, and bright windows all around, making for the perfect place for gathering and socializing with your group. The unbeatable location places you just one minute away from the beach adds to the comfort of this home!

When you enter the home, you will come to a light-filled open space featuring the living room/kitchen/dining room. The living room has plush seating options with a reclining loveseat that is located on a beautiful stone hearth. Warm up by the fire while watching a movie on the 40” TV, the perfect way to end a busy winter day of outdoor fun! Off of the living room is the dining room, which includes a dining table with seating for six tucked in a corner with windows all around. Enjoy a meal while taking in the peaceful views of surrounding nature from this space. From the dining room, you can step out the sliding glass doors and onto the balcony where you will find a BBQ, patio table, and six patio chairs. Your group will love spending summer days out on the deck, where you can enjoy views of the lake through the surrounding trees.

Back inside, you will find the fully equipped kitchen connected to the dining room. The spacious kitchen boasts ample cabinet space, a spacious kitchen bar with seating for two, and a variety of basic cookware, so you can easily prepare a meal for your group.

When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find three comfortable bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master suite and features a king-size bed with matching nightstands, a dresser, a closet, a fan, and an attached bathroom. The master bathroom boasts a double-sink vanity and a shower, so you can freshen up before tucking in for the night.

The second bedroom features a queen-size bed with views overlooking the trees, a dresser, and a fan to keep you cool on warm summer nights. The third bedroom is perfect for sharing with two twin beds, as well as ample storage space with a dresser and a closet. Enjoy a movie in bed from the 35” Smart TV, a great way to unwind after a busy day. All three of the bedrooms feature plush carpeting, adding to the comfort of your stay.

The home includes a second full bathroom for shared use, which features a single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo. You will also find a washer and dryer located in the garage, so you can keep up with any laundry needs during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Situated just minutes away from the sandy shores of Lake Tahoe, you can’t beat the location of this home for summer fun. A quick one-minute drive, or five-minute walk, will take you to Sandy Beach, a beautiful small beach located through the trees. Or make the quick 5-minute drive to Waterman’s Landing, which is a pet-friendly beach great for swimming and where you can rent every type of watercraft imaginable. Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a five-minute drive from the home. In the winter months, you are only 10 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes from Palisades Tahoe, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 14-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 3 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues. This home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!

Getting Around:
Centrally located off HWY 28 the home is a short 3-minute walk to a public transportation stop, so you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. Just 0.2 miles away, you will find the public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at National Ave (Shelter). From here you are just a 20-minute bus ride to Tahoe City where you can easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas, with less than a 15-minute drive to Tahoe City and a 10-minute drive to the Nevada state line. Just a five-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, and in the opposite direction, the popular Kings Beach is only a 3-minute drive away. In the wintertime, you are centrally located for skiing all of the best resorts with a 25-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center.
