Adorned with comfortable furnishings and updated amenities, the interior of this condo is a place of pure peace and relaxation. Little get-a-way

Location is optimal. Towels and linens were provided. Home is dated but spacious. It’s just fine for beach lovers.

Great location/Fun Weekend

We had a very fun weekend and were able to enjoy our stay without having to get into our car. There were restaurants and shops all within walking distance and the beach was easily accessible.

Location and parking was great. Internet, ands tvs did not work the entire time. Things weren't even plugged in and the VACASA team didn't get it fixed. Place was dated but mostly clean. Lots of small things need to get repaired. AC works.

The location of this place was great! Easy walk to the beach and easy walk to restaurants, park, shops and easy drive to stores and other activities. Neighbors in the complex were friendly and helpful! Some of the amenities and furnishings in the place could use attention and maintenance. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our family beach spot

Great trip again in Fenwick. Last year we stayed in the unit below, and this experience was just as great. Location is excellent. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Matt’s Fish Camp next store is great. Water park was awesome. Check out Rope Walk in OCMD if you have little kids for a great restaurant with kid friendly playground. We’ll be back!

House was clean but had several small things that needed repaired, like towel racks and window blinds. Easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay

Very nice neighbors. We were there for the Oceans Calling Music Festival and the lady next door told us about the bus stop 3 blocks away. That was very helpful. Local restaurants were good and people working in them very friendly.

Location great, everything is terrible, every window AC unit was full of black mold, one had a check filter light one, and the rental didn't seem it was even cleaned, there was dust on a lot things dishes were put up dirty, one rule is to take shoes off, but the carpet felt crusty it was full of stains, and even a burns in the carpet near the fire place you're not allowed to use, there was a railing piece missing and had a exposed nail, when I addressed this with rental company they refunded me the cleaning fee, but ignored my request to have some come clean the AC units so we could used them, so we didn't use them for fear of spreading the mold especially to my 17month old son, I didn't mind the rest of the rental was a little dated in turns of decor and appliances as we just wanted a close spot to the beach, and just somewhere decent to sleep.

The rental unit was clean, convenient, and quiet, but it was dated and looked like a rental unit---screen to balcony was not on track, front screen window had multiple large holes, carpet had many large dark stains, missing a toilet roll holder, etc.

Absolutely abhorrent

Just plain filthy and an absolute health hazard. Coming home with hives and upper respiratory issues was not how I wanted to leave our vacation. But with an A/C unit full of black mold, ants all over the downstairs, and a smell eerily similar to decomposing animals coming from every single hot water tap, I guess the health issues were expected. Crunchy carpets with giant burn holes and worn out furniture were some of the better amenities. We did get a slight taste of nostalgia with the food items in the cabinet expiring in 2020 and even some peroxide that expired in 1999! Vintage! Feels like this place was reluctantly inherited and passed off to Vacasa to try to squeeze some extra cash from with very little effort. Mission accomplished. But I will never book with Vacasa again, and I pray no one else is subject to the conditions of this unit in the future.

Health hazard

The neighborhood is great, check in was okay. But as soon as we opened the doors we knew we were in trouble. The smell was awful. Just old and musty along with a slight urine odor. The carpet was literally crunchy. Every stain was scratchy, and there were enough that we couldn't just walk around them. The furniture also had an odor. There were ants in the kitchen and old food in the cupboards from 2020. Upstairs, there was peroxide in the closet from 1999. We contacted Vacasa and they told us they would have housekeeping come to clean everything again and carpet cleaners come the next day, but did not give us a time. We found out the next day when they walked right through the door while we were getting dressed. The odor from the hot water smelled like decomposition. We tried running it until it was cold, but that just filled the unit with the smell. It was literally nauseating. We tried contacting management, but never heard back from anyone. After 2 nights, we woke up Sunday morning and discovered black mold in the A/C unit downstairs, so we turned that off for the rest of our trip. The cookware was so worn we didn't feel safe cooking with it. This unit needs a major overhaul to make it livable. We did get a slight credit for our troubles, but we would have preferred being relocated. If we had our kids, we would have just left and started the fight to get our money back. This place may be cheap, but you don't even get what you pay for. Find somewhere else.

No guest should have to deal with the conditions you described, including the worn carpets, musty smells, old food in the cupboards, and the serious concern of mold in the A/C unit. We also deeply regret the lack of communication from our team and the unannounced entry by housekeeping. That should never have happened. While we’re glad a partial credit was issued, we understand that it didn’t make up for the discomfort you experienced. Your feedback has been escalated to the appropriate teams, and a full inspection and deep cleaning of this unit is underway, along with necessary repairs and replacements. Unit 24, 606 Coastal Hihgway Mixed Review

Hi, When we checked in, the AC above the front door was dripping, had made a big puddle, and we were heavily dripped-on while trying to open the door. While the unit was clean and the bathrooms, appliances and all linens were first rate, the overall condo needs some serious TLC. The rugs are stained; the comforter on the king bed was stained, then the one in the closet was also stained. The second bedroom's curtains were sun-bleached and sad. The screens on the front balcony were torn. The slats on the blinds throughout the house are torn or broken.The screen door for the sliding doors off the kitchen was resting against the outside door. The AC unit in the bigger bedroom was loud and really dust-encrusted. The vertical blinds in the kitchen were off the wand. The furniture was tired-looking and sparse.There was no second night table in the bedroom with the king size bed. And when we wanted to take showers on our early vacating of the property on Sunday, 9/8/24 because it was so sad and dingy, there was no hot water. So, this place needs some serious updating and the addition of a few amenities. We would have appreciated some recompense for the money we forfeited upon vavacting early, especially when there was no hot water on Sunday, but we understand that we just have to take the loss.
