Cabin, country setting, yet only minutes from everything!

VERY private, secluded get-a-way, without having to drive all the way to the mountains. Access to private creek & small private pond (catch and release).
The space
Comfortably SLEEPS 4. One BEDROOM with QUEEN BED and a 2nd BEDROOM with FULL BED. If you're looking for a nice, cozy, private country/mountain like/ wooded/creek setting, without having to drive miles away from civilization, you found it. Super private location (sits on the back of our 30 privately owned acres). We are just a few minutes drive from all types of shopping and restaurants, too...and on the other side of our creek is a beautiful 18 hole golf course (public, so you can go play a round if that's your thing!! Their entrance is about a 5 minute drive away).....it's really the best of all worlds!
Guest access
Our guests really enjoy the tranquility of the cabin and its property. Whether it's the woods with walking trails, wading in the creek, petting a horse or feeding a cow or simply enjoying the front porch. Kids (adults too) of all ages enjoy the creek.

So peaceful and quiet! This property is perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. My family had a great time waking the trail and enjoying the sounds of the crickets at night. Just perfect!

Cozy cabin

Peaceful and relaxing

Beautiful property that will provide you with great hiking trails, furry friends, and beautiful water. Thus is a very private and secluded stay and if I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Most amazing trip ever!

Lori is an absolutely wonderful host. The property is always perfectly kept and they are very thoughtful. On our first day of the trip we came in to a dozen donuts on the bar! We will always stay here for our yearly Charlotte trip. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed at!

Cabin in the woods

The cabin is fantastic, the property has a creek, pond, pasture area with friendly farm animals, etc. The hosts are kind and very accommodating. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Best little cabin

We had the best time staying in this little cabin in the woods. The walk to and from the creek and pond is a bit strenuous, but soooo worth the hike. We made a lifetime of memories with our son and would love to come back and stay again anothet time.

My husband and I were so very happy with our stay here. It was clean, quiet and all that you would need to feel like home away from home. Owed was very nice and we appreciate the time spent and plan on returning again hopefully soon

Secluded cabin

My husband and I stayed for 2 night for an anniversary getaway. Very peaceful location with a short hike down to the creek and pond. Very clean and well stocked. Excellent communication with Lori! Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Private and Quiet

Enjoyed stay. Clean, quiet, very nice hosts. Had such a relaxing time. Stores are close by. Has everything you need. Loved it. Plan to come back for another relaxing weekend.

Out of town for work

Quiet place on top of a hill in the woods over looking a stream. I really enjoyed being able to walk the trails and visiting the animals. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and not having to hear cars or neighbors. Would certainly stay again. Everything you need away from home.

This cabin is so cute and comes with everything you could think of. Property manager responded to my text message right away and fixed the light immediately. Great place to stay.

Outstanding.... Wonderful trip for me, from PA, and my sister from TN. Lori and Paul went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was super clean. The decor was so cool (especially the toilet paper and toilet brush holders!!) It feels so cozy as soon as you walk in the front door. We would give a 10/10 rating if we could.

Off the beaten path

This property will get you away from the city life. Very quaint/quiet location off a somewhat main road. Property owners are very nice & close by if you need them. We get farm raised eggs back home & really appreciated having them. Thank you for letting us stay, we enjoyed the area & would definitely recommend it.

Great get away

The cabin fit our family of 3 perfectly. The owners were very responsive, the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The bonus was the property. My 5 year old loved the creek, the pond and the paddle boat. I even caught some fish in the pond. All and all, it was a great stay.

Couldn’t ask for more.

Great place to stay! Well stocked house. Beautiful property with tons of wild life. Fire pit was used almost nightly due to the beautiful background. Cozy and comfortable beds and furniture. Owners are quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Go out of their way for you. Super friendly people. Can’t say enough about this place. I travel for my career so I am constantly in rentals and these people have got it right.

Will definitely be back!

Lori and Paul are absolutely amazing hosts. Everything was exactly how it seemed in the pictures. My wife and I had a blast exploring the house. The Wii is an amazing blast to the past. Their pond is stocked with fish and catching them was less challenging then we thought. They keep the house super clean and are super thoughtful to what you might need. They even messaged us popular tourist places to help us fill our days. 10/10 no complaints at all would stay again

Diamond in the rough

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were accommodating and you could tell they do this for the enjoyment in sharing their space with others. They left some feed for their animals and were more than willing for you to enjoy all the things their property has to offer. Cabin is nice and secluded, it felt clean and well furnished. We absolutely loved playing in the creek but you've been warned, the hill to get there was a bit of an undertaking if you're out of shape or have little ones. Our 1.5 year old did alright but would need to be carried about half way each time. And if you're bringing things, pack light! Otherwise, what a great little getaway. We could see ourselves coming back in the future.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. The hill is a bit for the little ones. If you decide to stay with us again, there is an alternate route to the creek and pond that is far less steep but no where near as direct. We'd love to have you stay with us again.

Excellent

I have absolutely zero complaints about this property and I stay in rentals most of the year due to work. Hosts are very friendly and communicate well. House is very well stocked. Furniture and beds are cozy and comfortable. Location is amazing. Tucked away from the world but a short drive to everything. Feel like you’re out in nature all by yourself. Plenty of wildlife and peace and quiet. Had many fire in the fire pit at nights. I just don’t have anything negative to say at all. I will definitely be returning but not for work next time as I want to be able to enjoy the property more.

My husband and I love taking care of our land and animals...working on it or playing on it. We have three grown children that grew up working and playing here...and still do. A great part of being a host is hearing how our guests enjoy the property and make memories with their families.

This cabin adjoins our 30 acres. It's very secluded and private, peaceful and relaxing. I love the woods and creek and watching the animals in the pastures.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our guests tell us how much they enjoy the private, country setting. The creek is a big hit with guests of all ages as well. It's very tranquil. We have goats, horses, donkeys and cows that love treats from our guests...which we leave in the cabin...if our guests wish to feed the animals. The property has a lot of trees and has open pastures with a pond as well.
