Neighboring construction note: The wonderful neighbors two houses down from Lumberyard Oasis purchased the older home next door, had it removed, cleared the lot, and are now planning to build their forever home there. Construction is expected to begin around mid-July 2026 and continue in phases through Winter 2027. The builder is Wheelhouse Builders, one of Brevard's top builders, known locally for Pisgah Bakehouse and the Davidson River Campground renovations. Wheelhouse has shared that the greatest potential window of disruption is expected to be weekdays from about 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and that they will be mindful and respectful while discouraging evening and weekend work.
