Vous aurez du mal à trouver un endroit plus beau sur les banques extérieures. Hautement perchée dans les Carolina Dunes, entre Duck et Sanderling, Banana Republic offre une vue panoramique sur le son et l'océan.

Lorsque vous rentrez de la journée à la plage, située à seulement 200 mètres, vous trouverez également une douche fermée avec un accès pour un demi-bain à l'extérieur pour votre confort. Pour votre confort, des chaises de plage et des chariots de plage sont fournis. L'espace de pont ombragé procure une pause contre le soleil à quelques pas d'une piscine privée spacieuse (12 'x 28'). La piscine est chauffée à l'énergie solaire (système de chauffage solaire où l'eau circule en permanence sur le toit) et il y a des haut-parleurs stéréo au bord de la piscine.

Vous allez adorer cette maison décorée avec goût et bien équipée avec 2 cafetières et les couchers de soleil à vous couper le souffle. Pour les retouches avant une nuit en ville, un fer et une planche à repasser sont à votre disposition.

Reviewer Comments: The house is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay, very well located, the pool, the hot tub, the views, are amazing, the house is very well equipped (kitchen, towels and linens). Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the garbage, the prior tenants/cleaning crew left a huge overloaded smelly trash can at the entrance of the house, even though we spoke several times, the office did not send anybody to take care of this and we ended up picking up garbage that had spread all over the floor overnight :( The person in the office was very apologetic but they should have taken action. Probably this was a one time thing... we still liked it very much and would go back....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First I would highly recommend Beach Realty and Construction, very nice and accomdating staff upon check in. I found the home to be nicely maintained and clean! I also found the layout of the home to be highly desirable, with beautiful views of the Currituck Sound. The walk to the beach is very accurate-200 yards. The pool for this home is a huge plus, larger than homes that I've rented from in the past. Banna Republic is conveniently located between Duck and Corolla which means you can visit the Mustangs/shop/eat or do activities on the Sound/Ocean side. The way that this home was built, you can see both the Ocean and Sound. The home also has very comfortable beds, which most rentals do not have. I would definitely recommend this home.

2021 vacation

Reviewer Comments: House was generally in good shape.The carpet on the top floor needs replacing and is very dirty.When we arrived the outside grounds were in decent shape better than previous years. There were many bulbs burned out and some even missing inside but that were replaced by the maintenance staff. The second floor ceiling fan located in the large bedroom shorted out when turned on. Hopefully the fan will be replaced.There were a lot of cobwebs and dust on the top floor which could have been remedied by the cleaning crew. All in all a we will give this house a C+,B- thus year. We will be looking for a new rental next year as this house has too many stairs. Thanks for the memories!

The outdoor games and area were not useable (broken, and too brushy) We picked up trash from the yard before the rest of our party arrived so as not to be embarrassed. The house sleeps 13 yet has a VERY small refrigerator. Our party of 9 found it totally inadequate. 3 of our 5 bedrooms were not made up and worse yet ; the sheets were not present so that WE could do it ! I don’t think the owners know the quality of the bath linens that their laundry service provides. I can’t imagine another reason my paper towels are thicker than the washcloths. Bath towels were small and thin. On the positive: The house was clean overall. And except for nails sticking up in many places on the deck....the pool area was lovely and exceeded our expectations.

At the beach house banana republic

Reviewer Comments: We were happy linens were supplied and the house was very well stocked with things we needed. However, the cleaning had a lot to be desired. The carpets were not swept well and not under any furniture. The middle floor bathroom had so much dirt around the baseboards and tub area. Vents were terrible, ceiling fans terrible, the bedroom doors were filthy. Lamps and mini blinds very dusty. We didn’t notice right away, cause due to the terrible weather we ran around shopping on Monday and Tuesday. We would not stay here again. We did contact housekeeping at the end of the week, hoping they will do a much better job for the next people coming in. Living room couch and chair are very much in need of replacement.

Reviewer Comments: House was bright and friendly in atmosphere...some what dated kitchen but well equipped with all the dishes, pots and pans one would ever need...pool was nice but wasn't heated as we thought it would be...the hot tub was nice to soak in. The house was in a great location not far from the ocean and the crow's nest platform gives one a nearly 310 degree view of Sound and sea with great sunrises and sunsets. I would rent the house again. The internet service is fast and reliable and supported 4k streaming thru the devices we brought and plugged thru the TV as well as wifi signals were strong via our phones no matter where we were in the house...WIFI 4 protocols and link speeds to the router at about 300mbs. Internet connections varied between 10 to 80 mbs down and 4 to 20 upload with good latencies. 4k streaming capable with no lags.

The family vacation included our 4 grandchildren and 6 adults. The beach was within walking distance and Duck is a quaint bucolic little town. The house itself was clean and well-kept. Great Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our trip staying at the Banana Republic. The homeowners were very gracious. The house was very clean. We had only two issues (wasps near the hot tub and a tv not connecting) and the realty company, Kitty Hawk, was VERY prompt both times. They came out the same day and fixed both issues quickly. I was impressed. The house has great views from the decks, a wonderful pool (nicely warmed by roof solar heat) and great hot tub. All around few complains. It'd be great to have a second fridge for cool beverages, but its otherwise rather well equipped. We had plenty of room for us all, and loved the stay. Decent distance to the beach (only half a block) and the provided cart made it easier. It was also a decent close proximity to fun attractions in Duck (loved the Sugar Shack and Duck Donuts and of course Sunset Grille).

The house is large, roomy, plenty of rooms, and the kitchen/dining/living areas are all laid out in a very functional and attractive way. The pool and hot tub are terrific and the walk to the beach is short. We would stay again. My only complaint this year is that I think the decks need to be refinished or sealed... the kids got several (7) splinters this year when in bare feet the first few days...after that shoes from pool to house/hot tub became mandatory. There was also quite a few spiders...inside and out. Other then that - a beautiful and well kept vacation home.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family vacation with our kids & grands and it was AWESOME. The house was perfect, pool was wonderful, & the beach only a short walk. The beds were comfy & the kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. One of my sons watched the sunset every night from the rooftop deck & the view of the sound & ocean from there was beautiful. Beach Realty is the best with a friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely will return to Duck in the future.
