En bord de mer en vacances avec la piscine communautaire de Crown Point (Memorial Day-Labor Day) et le tennis, ainsi que des vues panoramiques depuis le salon en contrebas et le coin salon adjacent, on peut voir la rive depuis le nord près de Whalehead, jusqu'à Ocean Sands au sud. Une terrasse spacieuse permet de prendre le soleil le matin et l'après-midi. Il y a aussi une terrasse sur le toit avec une vue sur l'océan, parfaite pour regarder le jour ou chercher des étoiles la nuit. Le grand spa avec bain à remous offre même une vue sur l'océan.

Les 4 Master Suites sont confortables et privées. Une grande cuisine ouverte et bien équipée et un bar à manger jouxtent la salle à manger pouvant accueillir de 12 à 14 personnes. Le porche grillagé de la cuisine est agréable pour les conversations en soirée.

Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a une salle de jeux et une salle de jeux avec une table de billard en ardoise, un réfrigérateur sépar�� et un four micro-ondes pour vous aider avec des collations. Il y a même un interphone! Dehors, il y a un grill, un panier de basket, des douches extérieures et une zone de nettoyage du poisson.

C'est à quelques pas de la piscine et du tennis. Les épiceries, les films et les magasins ainsi que le nouveau parcours de golf sont idéalement situés à proximité. Seulement 20 mètres à l'accès à la plage.

Family Vacation

House was absolutely beautiful, plenty of space for everyone, very clean. The kitchen completely well stocked with cooking supplies. Loved it!!

Very Good Location, Needs Amenities

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Obviously a very good location as oceanfront, but disappointing that there was no direct beach access. We knew there wasn't a pool but were surprised and disappointed that the community pool was closed. Others in the area were open, and we got no explanation.

Excellent pots, pans and dishes in kitchen. Charcoal grill was poor and insufficient. Should have had a gas grill. House was clean and furniture in good shape. Excellent response from Beach Realty when AC did not work. Pleasant experience working with Beach Realty. Clean beach and good acess. Too far north from some main OBX activities.

Beautiful home, Perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home provided the perfect place for our siblings/spouses retreat. Each couple could have their own en-suite, so no flipping a coin for the master suite. It had all the amenities we wanted and the views from the upper deck are outstanding. The proximity to restaurants and shopping made it easy for us to choose to do things together or split up for more options. This home had very easy access to the beach. The indoor entertainment amenities were great as well as the hot tub. The only downside was the quality and quantity of towels provided by the linen service. We had rooms that were not being used so we used the towels allotted to those rooms to meet the needs. We would definitely book this property again.

Wonderful Time at Sandscape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay! The house clean, comfortable and inviting. Not direct access to beach but close enough that it wasn’t an issue at all. Even our grandmother did fine and she has some health issues. I agree with other families that the wicker furniture is a tad bit uncomfortable. It is such a beautiful space and some soft furniture would have made it perfect for lounging. The beds were hard but decent. We had some spotty internet but it wasn’t bad. Kids loved the hot tub! Just be careful when you’re are out at the hot tub because the deck railing on the driveway side is loose. Otherwise, we had a fantastic time and made lots of memories!!! Thank you Sandscape!

Great house for a great week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is big and well equipped, with a wonderful view of the ocean from the main top level and the crow's nest. (From the 2nd floor bedroom level you can only see the dune - as in most houses along this section.) It is 200 feet from the access path and 160 stairs up and down to the beach, so getting to the beach can be a bit of a hike, especially for less mobile folks -- but still a lot closer than other homes in the subdivision. Kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well equipped. The community pool was a 5 minute walk and very nice, but we were a bit jealous of the neighbors' pools, especially for little kids. We never used the hot tub. WiFi service was excellent with the password posted prominently. Good TV in the main living room with a nice stereo with an audio plug for our audio devices. It is located conveniently to a Food Lion and several excellent restaurants. Also close are some minigolf venues, the Corolla lighthouse and the wild horse tours. Go the other way a bit further, and there is a Harris Teeter and the ABC store. It is a long drive to Kitty Hawk or Cape Hatteras, so plan ahead (or for rain) if you are doing sightseeing. We just stayed put. The house was in excellent condition, but we had some issues with squeaky doors, a broken cabinet hinge and broken chaises in the crow's nest, and the management company quickly and courteously came out and fixed them. I would definitely use Beach Realty again - they have resources a small operator might not have.

Family Retreat and Relax

I really appreciated the ocean views from the main level (and crows nest/rooftop deck) and the large number of bathrooms (each room had its own bathroom, except for the two rooms with bunk beds). The house decor and fixtures are a little dated, but everything functioned fine. I would have appreciated if some materials were printed at the house explaining how to find/use the community amenities (I had to text with the management company to understand how to access the community pool).

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a house with great views of the beach, this may be your house. If you are looking for easy access to the beach, it may not be what you want. The photos of the house show an unobstructed path from the house to the beach; this was a primary reason I picked this house. Upon arrival we discovered a fence blocking the path, which meant access to the beach was via 67 steep stairs several houses away. My hope was to get up early and spend time on the beach with my 2-year-old granddaughter, but there was no way I could carry her up and down all those stairs. Shlepping the shade tents, chairs, and coolers down to the beach would have been a huge obstacle if we didn't have our kids to carry things for us. This changed the vibe of the whole trip and made trips to the beach more taxing than relaxing. We enjoyed the roof top deck at night, the kitchen was good, and the large table appreciated.

Our Wonderful Week at the Beach

Our family enjoyed a fabulous week at Sandscape. Beautiful beach house with incredible views of the ocean, sunrise & sunsets. Lots to do in Corolla area, and the BEACH!! The house had lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, even a canopy to set up on the beach for some shade. We did have trouble with the dishwasher, but coaxed it along each day, hopefully got fixed for next guests.

Beach week

Love the house….Very well supplied.. Some Beds were not made as expected..Had to call for towel set since one was missing Outside shower area needs a good cleaning, Only disappointment is the high walkway to beach..Not acceptable for elderly people or handicapped people..For this reason we will not be able to return to this lovely Oceanfront home..Evidently private walkways are not allowed in this community for ocean front homes

We were provided only one set of towels for each master bedroom and it took two full days and multiple phone calls to get that corrected. Also, they insist on text messaging as the basic form of communication and our attempts at texting with them about any issues were frustrating.

The toilet in the downstairs bathroom leaks a small amount (clean water) when it is flushed.The deck at the community pool is rough and splintered with nail heads above grade. We had two splinters and a cut toe in two afternoons of swimming.

Amazing as always! Home away from home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Sandscape from 8/21 - 8/28/16. We had 5 adults (age 75, 36, 35, 32, 30) and 9 children (ages 17, 17, 11, 8, 6, 4, 4, 2, 1). This is our third time staying at Sandscape over the past 5 years. We had an AMAZING WEEK! The beach is beautiful and the house is always so warm and inviting. It truly feels like our home away from home. We love the beautiful views from the 3rd level with the wrap around windows. The beds are all very comfortable. No problems with bugs or critters. Outside showers are great for washing off when you get back from the beach. The owners have recently done some updates to the kitchen and flooring which were very nice. The only thing I would say can stand to be updated is the family room couch. While it's fairly comfortable, it has been there a while (all 3 times we have stayed), and the cushions have definitely seen better days. Kids and adults had fun playing pool on the ground level. GO STAY at Sandscape, you will love it!!!

Good for the price.

Reviewer Comments: The home was plenty large for 6 adults and 8 kids 7yrs and under.The home could use a deep clean, but it was 'clean enough' for a beach house.There are a few items that need attention (top beach side deck boards cause splinters, railing will be a danger if not shored-up in the next 12 months, etc.); but all-in-all the house was mechanically sound. The owner called during our stay and asked if there were any issues (which was nice); I told him about these issues and he said he would address them (and I believe him). This spring he has all the wood floors refinished and all new kitchen (granite) counters installed.The location of this home is ideal; it is two driveways away from the beach access boardwalk, and just outside the entrance road are all the stores (Food Lion) and restaurants/bars we required.

Reviewer Comments: this home is gorgeous - beautiful views of the ocean and walking distance to beach access. very roomy as well. i would suggest a serious cleaning of the mold accumulating on all of the windows and doors, in addition to some stabilizing of the railings along the decks - they didn't feel as secure as they could be. and the wood on the floor of the decks need to be sanded and stained as they could easily offer splinters to unsuspecting bare feet. providing hand towels for the sinks would be helpful as well!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was good but still had to walk quite a distance to the beach for an oceanfront property. The counters and bathrooms seemed clean but carpets were horrendous. It was obvious that no one vacuums under the beds....ever. The amount of dust under them was disgusting. I also found a pill under one of the bunk beds (where our toddlers slept) as well as graffiti of a ***** on the bunk bed. I’m certain the housekeeping doesn’t check drawers for items left by previous guests or they would have found the condoms, prescription drugs, lube and vibrator left in the bedside table of my 7 year old daughter’s bedroom. I realize that there is only so much turnaround time between guests for housekeeping to clean but wow. This was a little much.

Wonderful beach house for family gathring

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house so much we booked it again for next year. Very clean, attractively furnished, good supply of amenities (boogie boards, etc.), beautiful view of the ocean from the main floor. Close to grocery store and restaurants. (We did seafood take-out from Uncle Ike's and the Sunfish Grill, and ordered pizza from Lucky's - all excellent.)We wished Beach Realty responded more quickly to emails; in all other ways we were happy with them.

The property was not clean. Called for a re-clean and they never came. We ended up cleaning oursel

The layout and kitchen were nice. Enjoyed being close to the ocean. It just wasn’t clean and lots of mildew in the house. The house comforters and blankets were not clean and we had to wash ourselves. There was sand on all bathroom floors and showers were dirty too. The house has just not been well maintained. The rental company were called twice and never responded. Would not rent again.
