Matin, midi et soir - les adorateurs du soleil ou des demandeurs d'ombre peut profiter de la plage toute la journ��������e. Se pr�����lasser au soleil ou se détendre ���������������� l'ombre. Profitez d'une tasse de caf�� le matin sur le pont en bord de mer et regarder le lever du soleil sur l'oc��������an. Dans la soirée, griller la journ��e avec un avec un verre de votre boisson préfér��e et regarder le coucher du soleil dans un flamboiement de rouge vif, roses et oranges.

Le dernier ��tage est un espace de vie ouvert avec une vue sur l'oc��������������������������������an de toutes les fen������tres. Duck has become our favorite place to be and this beautiful home has become part of our cherished memories. The house is clean with a very well equipped kitchen and is perfect for those of us who bring our 'fur babies' on vacation. As always looking forward to our next visit.

The rooms were well-decorated and relaxing. The attached baby gates were wonderful and did not take away any of the charm of the home. The only issue was one of the keys did not work on any of the doors. We didn't find this out until near the end of the stay. The office stated they would fix the problem. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay close to the beach.

Location, Location, Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't beat the view and the elevated deck chairs from which to take it in. Sunrises over the Atlantic! Gorgeous. Ditto for stargazing.It's the perfect house for a family with young or short children (bunk beds) and a teenager or grandparents along for the queen bed. The MB king bed was super comfortable. The twin pullout off the kitchen lacks privacy, especially at night. Curtains would be nice. The side sliding doors have no curtains at all. The front sliding doors have sheers only.The neighborhood is nice for walking the dogs. The public beach access was not an issue at all and had the added bonus of sharing the spider web patrol.The umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards provided were appreciated. We had fun playing the 1980's version of Clue. The kitchen was well equipped. Dishes and glasses were abundant! My only advice is to stock up on ice for cocktails & mocktails because the ice-maker is small. [Requests to the owner: a separate small trash bin in the kitchen for the recycling and more brooms for sand and spiderwebs or at least one on each floor. Also post a note to leave the washer's lid up and open so it doesn't get moldy smelling inside.][Advice to the cleaners - they should watch the show "Hotel Impossible" and see how the host Anthony wipes under the rim of a toilet to see if it is properly clean. Toilet brushes really don't get under there and now because I've seen that show, I notice.]

It is not a private walkway to the beach, it is a public walkway for the neighborhood, but that was not a problem - there is a very short private walkway from the house to the walkway over the dune, but it is very close and the public walk did not have a lot of traffic. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

The screened in porch is the absolute best when raining and for just relaxing. Under house has ample space for paring, cooking and storing items so all good there.On the front porch deck the deck boards are lose and some feel very flimsy/thin. I think they need replacing. No all but some.Inside. The kitchen and amenities are good. Could use a new wine opener please and possibly some more pots. Sauce or spaghetti pots just one more. We had issue with microwave not working , called office and someone came out and had to order a part but was fixed the next day. The fix only lasted 1 day and it broke again. Fan worked but not heating up. Management office was exceptional on taking care of any issues very promptly. I would like to know how come towels are not included in the price? Sheets are but no towels😳 For the price of the house I would hope they are included. Overall our week was great, weather/swimming not as good as previous years but it's all good. We did have the sun pop out here and there. Bike riding along the trails is a favorite also. Reading books and playing board games. Great timeThank youInside

Lovely home, great location

Beach access right at the doorstep, and views of the ocean from the top floor and spacious deck. Newly redone bathrooms and kitchens, plenty of closet space and 2 outdoor showers -- with hot water! Nice neighborhood streets for morning walks. Off the main road, but close to shops and the community pool. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the house in general. Hair -- human and pet -- was everywhere, including vents, corners, under furniture and rugs and on top of bed coverings. Management company offered to send out cleaner but we were already settled in so I swept up the hair -- and copious sand -- and cleaned it myself. Had to request additional clean linens to replace the ones covered with hair from the bedspreads. Happy with responsiveness of Beach Realty company. Very friendly and helpful.

The only complaint was the hundreds and hundreds of bugs on the uppper deck floor and along the roof line. We had to clean the deck before being able to use it. I made a homemade bug spray that seemed to eliminate them for the rest of the week.

Perfect Beach Vacation Home

This house had the perfect location right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean from the top deck. The decorations were tasteful, there was plenty of room in the common area. We loved the laminate floors (no beach home should be carpeted!), and the 2 outdoor showers were very convenient for the kids. It was close to all the activities we enjoyed such as hang-gliding at jockey's ridge, touring wild horses in corolla, shopping in duck, having fresh seafood at Awful Arthurs and visiting the Wright memorial. Of course lots of time was spent on the beach too. Appreciated the umbrella and chairs that were provided. Would stay there again!

Great small oceanfront cottage where you can sit on the deck with your coffee and watch the sun rise and open the widows at night and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. New updates in the bathrooms and kitchen where great. Already pre-booked for next year.

Beach vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was exceptional, great amenities, kitchen could use a few more frying ,sauté pans as the ones there are a little old.furnished lovely, loved screened in porch and 2 outside showers. The views of the beach are outstanding. Very satisfied.Upon arrival there was a fish smell in referigerator and we had to thoroughly re clean, and we had no sheets on bed. We called the after hours emergency number and within the hour our sheets arrives so all good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great stay in OBX. We love staying in Sanderling. Peaceful and relaxing.
