Beautiful home which suited my family perfectly. The elevator worked great. We could sit in the living room and watch dolphins each day as well as pelicans. Loved having shaded pool area. The pool and hot tub temps were great! The kitchen appliances were nice and worked well. Cons: There was no blind in master bedroom which was badly needed. There was a lot of construction noise next door through the week which made it impossible to enjoy the pool and hot tub during daytime hours. My adult granddaughter went to bathroom in her room and when she got up she was eye to eye with a construction worker looking straight at her! We covered her bathroom window for privacy. Check-in didn’t receive code hour before as expected. Cleaning crew had left. We still had to call a couple times sitting in the drive waiting on door code but got in shortly after four. A few minor housekeeping items that we didn’t mention to management but were hopefully caught by clean-up crew: one light bulb out in elevator, drawer in master dresser kept opening on its own, one grill worked on only one side. All in all I’d rent the house again but would make sure no construction going on next door and there was a blind installed in master bedroom.

Home is lovely multilevel that is well stocked and perfect for multi-generation family use. There are excellent instructions available for all the tech (elevator, pool remote, TVs, blinds) and makes it easy for older family members to navigate stairs. Host company is easy to contact. The beach is beautiful & endless. The beach park trail is also gorgeous to the south, and close to the historic district to the north (less than half mile). Would definitely stay again. Mindful that the pool is mostly shaded, the beach is across the road (but there is a cross walk with light just feet away), and rooftop access is well secured.

Having everything clearly labeled and easy to use really makes a difference, especially when everyone’s settling in at their own pace. I was only disappointed not knowing the original refrigerator in the kitchen was not working, but was replaced. Communication with your office was lacking..Other than that we all loved our visit. The location was fantastic! My older grandchildren could walk to town while we were able to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the beautiful sunsetsI celebrated my 85th birthday and enjoyed every minute!! See you for my 86th!!

Very nice property overlooking the beach.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Just the road to cross to get to the beach. AMI locals that takes care of the property was very helpful. We just called them and they immediately came. There is a pool and a spa. The place is big and is well stocked for a large crowd. It was a good holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Rayo Del Sol. The house is well appointed and clean. The beds are comfortable. The elevator saved our knees over the course of the week instead of running up and down. The front rooms have excellent views of the Gulf and the back bedrooms have views of the bay. The rooftop was a favorite at sunset, enjoyed by grandparents, kids and grandkids alike. We also all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It's also in a good location with a half mile walk to Bridge Street. The park at Coquina is very close and makes a refreshing place to walk offering shade and starts just a few steps away. We saw dolphins from the balconies and were feet away from manatees in the water. The water was so clear we had enjoyed the beach every day. We cooked most of our meals at the house and found the kitchen well stocked. Even the tv's were easy to use! I cannot think of anything we needed that wasn't available. The host was excellent communicating and answering questions. We had one issue with a door handle and they sent maintenance in a matter of hours to fix it. I highly recommend this house and plan to return again.

This sounds like one of those unforgettable family trips, Cynthia! Villa Rayo Del Sol by AMI Locals really gives you the full island experience with sunsets from the rooftop, Gulf and bay views, dolphins from the balcony, and even manatees nearby. That’s the kind of AMI magic people come back for. Love that the whole family from grandparents to grandkids had spaces to enjoy together, whether it was pool time, beach days, or dinners at the house. And that elevator definitely becomes everyone’s favorite feature by the end of the week It’s also great to hear the team could jump in quickly and take care of the door handle so you could get right back to vacation mode. Really appreciate the recommendation, and we’ll be here whenever you’re ready for another stay at Villa Rayo Del Sol!

Disappointing 1st ImpressionWhen we arrived, the 1st impression was awful. The home next door was dilapidated, boarded up, and had a collapsing roof, while the other side was an active construction site. At 6:00am Monday morning, workers were hammering rebar for concrete forms. This was not the vacation environment we expected, and of course, the listing photos did not show any of this. For 10k per week, I felt deceived.I only chose this 3-story home because it had an elevator for our mother, who has mobility limitations. Upon arrival, the elevator did not work, so we unhappily had to carry luggage, groceries, and our mother up 3 flights of stairs. The property also had other visible maintenance issues. The refrigerator did not fit properly, and the surrounding cabinet trim had been removed and not replaced, leaving it looking junky and unfinished.I will acknowledge that AMI’s maintenance response was good. The elevator was fixed that evening and a WIFI issue was fixed promptly. Both maintenance people were friendly and helpful. Once past the initial issues, the home was comfortable, the beach location was great, and the balcony views were perfect. That said, I booked this home, so I had to field every complaint and deal with every issue. A simple walk-through before our arrival and upfront disclosure about the neighboring properties would have gone a long way. Ultimately, I will not book with AMI Locals again and recommend others do more research before committing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay at Villa Rayo Del Sol by AMI Locals, Iron. We sincerely apologize for the elevator issue at the start of your vacation. We're glad our maintenance team was able to quickly restore the elevator and resolve the Wi-Fi issue, and we appreciate your kind words about their service. We also understand your concerns about the neighboring properties. As outlined in our Rental Agreement, construction and changes to neighboring properties are outside of our control, but we appreciate you sharing your experience. We have also scheduled the cabinet trim near the refrigerator for repair. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the home's comfort, beachfront location, and beautiful views. Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

Beautiful property with a great location!

The house is across the street from the beach, so the views are amazing, but you must overlook a busy street with a lot of construction. The house was very clean, and I'd love to stay here again. However, the furniture is very uncomfortable. The beds are quite firm, and the pillows are foam and not very comfortable. I appreciate the three levels of the house, and the bedrooms are spacious and in good locations. The bathrooms are a good size, too. I love the deck off the second floor. The rooftop deck is not easy to get to and is completely not a possibility if you are afraid of heights. Overall, I liked the house but I wish they would get better quality furniture.

Great Week

We loved this house. It was beautifully decorated and all new plus the layout was fantastic. We had family of various ages and everyone could find their “space” whe the er that was the roof top deck, the pool, family room or the two other great balconies. And our week we had some really windy days and some sun burn people so the shaded pool area was really nice. We thought the furniture was very comfortable and we loved the location. For some you might find it busy but all the roads are busy on AMI and we were right across the street from the beach with awesome views, the beach wasn’t crowded, we could walk to the historic downtown area and the trolly stop was near by. Management was super responsive when the pool heater was off and we had a small issue with no outlets in the garage working to charge a golf cart and had things fixed within hours. Given all the damage from the hurricane just six months ago, the island has made an incredible comeback and so impressed. The two homes right next to this one look like total losses which is sad to see the old charm destroyed.

Fabulous time!

We booked this house literally the day before we flew down. It seemed like they had some work scheduled because they were planning on the house being empty but they accommodated us. They did some landscaping but it wasn’t a big deal at all and they were very communicative. The house itself is gorgeous, as someone who loves to cook on vacation I enjoyed the high end appliances. The knives and pans aren’t the best but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The garage game room wasn’t as in the pictures probably because they haven’t gotten to it yet after the storms, it wasn’t a big deal for us either. Everything else was wonderful! The only thing I would take note of for future bookings is that there is beach parking across the street, The city was working on it while we were there so no one could park there, making the beach not crowded at all! I imagine if people could park there the beach might be busier. We’ve never stayed at this end of the island and it’s nice. There is a lot of traffic on Gulf drive, most of the time but people let us in and out of the driveway. The host company was very responsive when we needed anything. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We all loved it! Would stay there again!

Beautiful house... when things are working.

We booked this property for the pool and the hot tub. We knew it was going to be chilly, and that we were not going to be spending very much time at the beach. Because this was a family reunion with ages spanning from 3 to 82, we wanted a relaxing place for three generations to get together. Upon our arrival, the pool and hot tub were not working, the stove didn't work, and there was no hot water. We spent our entire first day here troubleshooting, with repairmen in our space, and trying to convince management to get the gas tank filled ASAP. All we wanted was to use the pool and the hot tub, cook dinner and take showers after very long travel days. None of these were possible. At this price point, the house should be in working condition. From the second day onwards, the house was great. Once the gas tank had been filled, everything worked. The view was great, the location was convenient, decor was modern and clean, and the house felt new. If it hadn't been for the troubles we encountered on the first day, we would rate this house excellent. Hopefully for future tenants they'll have things figured out. We are still waiting for our first day refund.
