Fantastique SOCO studio

Absolument adorable ancien studio photo, maintenant une toute nouvelle location de vacances. Situé dans la partie la plus branchée de la ville - SOCO (Congrès du Sud) avec un accès facile à tout ce qui est le mieux à Austin: boutiques, restaurants, bars et grands événements musicaux.

Le studio est un véritable bijou, avec ses fenêtres rondes, sa chambre en mezzanine et ses hauts plafonds au rez-de-chaussée. L'espace super léger et aéré, et une joyeuse ambiance décontractée d'Austin. S'ouvre sur une terrasse couverte. Entrée par une allée de jardin. Un vrai plaisir d'être dans!

Peut accueillir 2 ou 3 personnes confortablement, 5 si vous vous aimez vraiment.

Nouvelle salle de bain et cuisine. Entrée privée, jardins, terrasse avec barbecue au gaz, fenêtres rondes, nouvelle chaleur et air à haute efficacité, adossé à une crique pour une plus grande intimité, dans un quartier central et agréable. Super mignon décor de musique hipster.

Always such a joy to stay here. Repeat visit several times per year. Super clean, quiet but close to everything. Very consistent in quality. Plenty of cold air and hot water.

Thank you for the wonderful stay in Austin. Communication with the owner was great, access great. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We found it to be a very walkable, quiet location. Shout out to The Wheel for providing wonderful craft cocktails and some great local food tips to nearby food trucks and coffee shops. The owners are amazing and they give amazing privacy as thier home is close bye. The studio is very spacious and calming. The bed is super awsome as well as the one upstairs in the loft. I would and will recommend this studio to anyone that wants a cool safe place to chill and see what Austin offers. (AMAZING FOOD AND PEOPLE!)

Great location!

Wonderful place to stay! Jana was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we need. The studio is convenient to downtown so it was a super easy drive or uber ride. Plus her dogs are so cute!! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Home!

I came to Austin with my three college roommates and stayed in Jana’s property and it was so perfect for us! In a great location near SoCo, extremely clean, and Jana made the check in process seamless. Our favorite moments were relaxing on the beautiful screened porch in the morning. Would definitely recommend!!

Sweet host and great location

Jana is a kind and sweet host. Her place is in a great locations with a tons of food and entertainment. Although the studio is behind her place but she gave us our privacy. She was very understanding about our dogs and their noise they made. Thank you again for a good experience in our first time in Austin.

SOCO Studio

We enjoyed our stay at the SOCO Studio. The location fit our needs perfectly. Our host Jana was very friendly and repaired the handrail to the loft the same day we reported it. The studio was very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the fenced yard as we were traveling with our two pups. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Austin.

Weekend Trip

Everything was good about property except there was no mention that the only bathroom was up steep loft stairs. My husband has nerve damage in his feet and if I would have known about location of only bathroom I could have made a better decision for him to safely navigate. We had to leave and find a restroom for him to use.

So cute and unique!

What a gem! Not only was this studio perfectly suited to our unique needs (small, dog-friendly and close to campus), but there was also Jana's warm hospitality and easy-going nature. Jana's dogs were immediate friends with our dog, which made the whole weekend easier. We will for sure be back.

Great ACL spot!

Perfect location and comfy stay. Everything was as pictured and very clean. Parking was not an issue (parked on the street right out front every night/day). The festival was a very short Uber or Lyft ride away, and we were able to catch a ride share within 2mins of requesting every time. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and the short walk to restaurants and coffee shops! Owner was very responsive and we had no problems! Thanks a bunch!

The PERFECT location!

My partner and I came into Austin for a couple days after some time out in country. This property was in such a great location! We found many great coffee places, restaurants, and thrift stores all within 4 miles, most within a ½ mile distance. Jana was kind and quick to respond. The space is clean, provides plenty of necessary a/c in these summer months, and the screened porch was a great place to sit and drink our coffee while enjoying the morning breeze. You should definitely consider staying here on your next visit in!

SOCO studio

Really nice property in a nice quiet location within walking distance or short car ride to many local shops, restaurants, and bars. Jana the owner is great as well, very helpful and there if you need anything but also non-obtrusive. One minor inconvenience was that the bathroom was upstairs, and descending the stairs might be a bit tricky for those with disabilities or perhaps the elderly. Other than that, really nice place to stay.

Very Basic and Affordable

We definitely had mixed feelings on our stay. Host was very understanding at first about our puppy chewing on a kitchen rug. Cottage was tidy and basic, and very inexpensive. However, as the former general manager of a boutique hotel and current renovation company owner, I noticed many issues. This was our fourth rental cottage in Austin, and it had issues we had never seen before. The floors were plywood screwed down and painted, with some uneven surfaces. The bedspread had blue stains on it. There was aluminum foil taped to some windows. There was a ladder/staircase leading up to the only bathroom(which was mentioned in the listing), and the top step was missing two of four screws so it was not sturdy and was actually quite precarious. The railing was made of pipe, and the top 2 feet or so were not attached with a post so it was free-floating and could not in any way be safe or supportive. When we checked in for our 7 night stay, we saw that there was not enough coffee to make a pot and not enough toilet paper, so we had to purchase those supplies. Tan couch had light stains. View outside back window was of a broken wooden chair in a tent. Host had been very understanding when we told her that our caged dog had managed to reach and chew up the kitchen rug, and we ordered a replacement for her on Amazon to arrive the day after we left. I have a receipt from Amazon saying that the replacement rug was handed to her. However, she now claims she never received the replacement, despite my confirmation from Amazon. She said that we left the cottage dirty, which is simply not true. We took out the trash daily, washed dishes and counters, and left sheets where she requested. The only place there was any indication of dirt was inside the cottage entry area, as it rained and even stormed through some of our stay, leaving shoe prints. The stay at the cottage was very low cost, and the space was sufficient for a basic, no frills stay. I am happy to provide proof of her receipt of the replacement rug.

Cute spot, quiet natural setting, would stay again

Jana was easy to communicate with, had some great local tips, and her place was a perfect hideaway within short distance to everything. The back yard was always alive with birds, and the space was much bigger than it appears in the pictures. 100% would stay again!

This is the hippest, coolest place in Austin, with a fantastic, joyous feel. Furnishings are modern and comfortable, with gorgeous photos from local music shows and artists. The neighborhood is close in, mellow and sweet. It's a great place to stay.
