Asher Premier Beachfront Condo est mon deux chambres moderne, 900+ pieds carrés. Unité TOP COIN D'ÉTAGE sur le lac Michigan. Cette unité face au lac est entièrement meublée et peut accueillir confortablement six adultes avec un lit king-size, 2 lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit. Tous les appareils ont été récemment remplacés et la cuisine a été redécorée! Ce condo est considéré comme ayant l'une des meilleures vues du littoral dans le complexe et peut-être toute la ville !!

L'unité est à la fois au bord de la piscine et de la plage et elle offre des couchers de soleil et des vues côtières imbattables tout en étant assis dans l'unité. La piscine privée est à quelques pas de votre lit et de la plage privée.

Le complexe est à côté d'un parc de la ville qui permet une vue supérieure sur le littoral et à quelques pas du centre-ville pittoresque de South Haven, où il y a beaucoup de boutiques et d'excellents petits restaurants.

Cette ville historique (fondée en 1833) possède deux phares guidant les bateaux de plaisance vers les multiples marinas disséminées le long de la rivière Noire qui traverse cette ville idyllique.

Il ne faut que 20 minutes pour conduire de South Haven à Saugatuck, 30 minutes pour la Hollande, deux heures et plus pour Chicago et trois heures pour Detroit.

South Haven, pas seulement une destination d'été !!

We were looking for a place with a great view and we found that here. Wonderful views and great location to the city. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly even our host. We received good communication and suggestions for our visit to South Haven. The home was very comfy and everything we needed to prepare meals was available in the kitchen with a lakeview. We could watch the lake from the bedroom, kitchen, living room and while eating. We loved that!

Host was very communicative from start to finish. The view from this condo was simply stunning from every window. Living area was spacious and comfortable and bed was also comfy. Shared deck is huge and so close to the waves it’s like sitting in them. Can’t wait to return.

We stayed at the end of April, and they had covers and locks on the AC units. The high was 79 degrees our first day, it was very uncomfortable. We were told to open the windows and turn on the ceiling fans, which we did, but it did not help. The second day was about ten degrees cooler outside, but the temperature inside remained the same. It's as if the building held onto the heat. It didn't start to cool down until later that evening. Our third day, it was cold outside and felt better inside. The condo itself was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing. The jets in the soaking tub did not work, but I had bubble bath, and it was still relaxing. The host was very communicative during our stay.

Thank you Jordan for taking the time to write a review. We were disappointed that we did not meet your needs but one must admit that 80 degrees in April is odd. I am sorry that the Association had not removed the AC covers for the building owners but I thought I did all that I could under the circumstances. We do the same as I recommended, turn on the 4 ceiling fans and open the windows. The night time temperature was in the 60's the first night and I even offered to pay for a motel room if you so desired. You elected not to take me up on my offer. The next two days the daily highs were much cooler so I don't understand how you had a problem cooling the small unit. I encourage potential guest to read the website completely. Under cooling I state - there is a AC unit in the dinging area and the master bedroom and four ceiling fans. Due to the potential of high cold winds in the winder AC units have covers put in place by the Association from ROUGHLY mid October thru April. For the heating section the websites states - The building has a central boiler. The heater water travels to each condo and back. This causes warmer ambient temperature in the building from November through April. Space heaters are also provided. Finally, under Bathroom 1 the website states the tub jets are presently not operational in the comments and I did not check that a jetted tub was even available. The apartment is just as described and pictured. Wonderful location right on the lake is beautiful and we used the large deck quite a bit. It is perfect for sunset viewing. It is an easy walk or bike ride into town. Beds were comfortable and apartment was clean and I would be happy to stay here again.

Living room, especially right down to the patio area and a view of beautiful Lake Michigan. There was so much to see and do in Southaven and had many good suggestions from the owner. View and location are great to the beach and short walk to downtown. Owners have definitely made upgrades and improvements. We enjoyed the space and amenities (beach chairs and full kitchen). Pool looked nice. Owner has detailed instructions and checks in. Check in and access are easy.

Beautiful condo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our beachfront condo. Harold, our host, was extremely accommodating and responsive to our needs. The condo was clean, comfortable, cozy and welcoming! We look forward to staying here again!

Amazing location and views

Couch is falling apart but that is my only knock. Host is great. Pool and beach awesome.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I had the great fortune of being born and raised in South Haven. As a kid, I thought this small town was too slow for my likening especially during the long, snowy winters. As I matured, I realized how lucky I was to have experienced the lifestyle of this community. I remember participating in the clubs and sports the community had to offer, enjoying the Blueberry Festival and Fourth of July events. Some of my favorite activities were water skiing or fishing on Lake Michigan and snow skiing at nearby Timber Ridge. We have cooked blueberry pancakes for breakfast on the beach during the summer and climbed the ice bergs in the winter. I have brought my wife and kids back for the past Thirty plus years. My kids have experienced the joys of the town throughout their life and I know they will continue the traditions with their children. I hope that you can feel a small piece of what joys this town has given to me during your week vacationing in South Haven!!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We have admired this property over the years when we took our kids to the public beach at Packard Park. My wife always said “that is the place we should find a unit in”. It has so much to offer with it’s own private beach and pool. The terrace is huge and is great for entertaining or eating your dinner while watching the sunset. This dream continued for many, many years until we purchased our 1 BR unit in 2005 and added this unit in 2013.

We love our units since they face the lake and they are so comfortable to sit and read. We love sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves crash onto the shore. It is great just walking out the door onto the beach for a stroll to the North Pier or going miles to the North.

The location of the unit and the size of the town allows you to walk into town for shopping or meals. Go try the onion rings and Mess of Perch at Clementine’s or the ice cream at Sherman dairy. Don't forget about the Bunde's Bakeries.

Once there, I am sure you will agree that it’s great having a pool and being on the lake at the same time and that you will want to return year after year to realize life’s simple pleasures!!!
