My wife, daughter and I traveled to Luray for a family wedding. The Flynn provided the perfect accommodation for our stay. It was very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Short walking distance to coffee shops, bars and restaurants was very much appreciated.
Cute place in a great location in the charming town of Luray. The beds were super comfortable and the living/dining area was just right for four adults and two children. The bathroom situation is a bit tricky. Each of the two bedrooms has its own toilet and sink but there is only one shower, which is quite small although water pressure is good. Locks on the bathroom doors would be helpful.
Located right on main street, the property is in walking distance to all the best spots in Luray. The property is very clean and nicely decorated; everything appears to be recently updated. I would definitely stay here again with family/friends. The owner is easy to work with and will answer questions quickly. There is an additional property connected to this one that has 5BR (pictures look amazing). Guests were there but we did not notice or hear them at all. This was my 6th time staying in Luray and my favorite property. When leaving, my daughter said "I'm going to miss this place."
We loved our stay at the Flynn. The house was exactly as described, very clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and a great location. Thank you!
The house was recently renovated. Very clean and well appointed. Close to good restaurants, huge back yard, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Minutes from everything Luray has to offer. We ate at the Chophouse (2 doors down), excellent steaks. The Hawksbill brewery was nice and had a fantastic coffee stout Highly recommended
This unit was spotless, beautifully decorated, everything I could possibly have needed was there, the location was perfect, beds & pillows comfortable, this unit is half of the house & we never heard a sound from the other guests in the other section. Definitely 5 star
Great vacation rental located close to everything. We needed a long weekend getaway and Briar Lane exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, welcoming, well equipped kitchen, there was no detail left out. Parking was easy and what was even nicer was ability to walk to dinner, stroll the main street of shops and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery! Would highly recommend!
This was a beautiful home! Cindy and Briar Lane made our stay awesome! The house was spotless, beds are comfortable and though we did not cook in this beautiful kitchen, it was completely stocked that we could have! I would recommend a stay here over and over!
Loved the location for our visit. We went to the caverns, hiked, and mountain biked! Everything was close to the property. Walked to every meal on Main Street. We had a hard time finding it initially because the address is listed as West Main Street, but it is actually East. We just typed in the name of the house and it popped right up on GPS.
We had an incredible stay, albeit short, in Luray. Our kids have been excited to see the caverns for quite sometime, so we took the opportunity to drive out from DC to explore. The home was clean, Cindy was super helpful, and the location is perfect. The Flynn was a great size for the four of us and the backyard was huge to blow off some kid energy :). The beds were so comfy and the configuration of the rooms are great for older siblings in one, and parents in the other! I am grateful for the time Cindy took to answer some questions and the love, sweat and tears they put into renovating this beautiful home!
This is an excellent stay in Luray! Easy walking to some really awesome spots for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Really well stocked kitchen with a gas stove, so definitely bring some stuff to cook.
Everything was spotless when we arrived, and we're hoping to swing by again some time with some more people to take advantage of the fire pit, outdoor furniture, and lovely back yard.
Only small issue was being unaware that we shared a wall with the other unit until we got our check-in information. The walls are pretty thin, unfortunately, though we weren't really inconvenienced. Just something we probably would've liked to know before hand.
Definitely stay here!
Came in for our daughterâs wedding. The accommodations were wonderful for our weekend stay. Perfect for a family. The adjoining bathroom was helpful. The bedrooms and bath are in the second floor so stairs would be a barrier for those who struggle. The house is adjacent to another unit with a secure door that could be opened and used if you also rented the bigger side or knew the people over there. As it happens some of our extended family rented the unit next to us. It was great to have the doorway between to go back and forth. It wasnât a problem for us but seems like there could be noise issues between the units as there is a sound reducing curtain covering the connecting door. Also up in the game room of the other unit there was a sign that reminded the guests to not be too loud out of respect to the neighboring guests. But I didnât hear anything from the other sideâŠcourse I also know they werenât having a rager;) The covered outdoor space was very convenient; we had one beautiful night-the other nights rained. I would def stay at the property again.
The host was kind, helpful, and best overall! I would definitely return to Luray. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, convenient. The premise was spotless, very clean and organized. Even a greeting treat, water, candy for the 7 yr. old. Very nice touch. Great cookware and amenities.
Luray is my husband's hometown so we visit often and wanted a place of our own. This 1800 (yep! it's 12 years old than the town itself) farmhouse right on Main Street seemed the perfect house for us. Having been vacant for over 25 years, and formerly a dentist office it was a complete renovation and remodel that took 8 month, but it was so worth it. You can see before pictures on my website.
One of the few vacation rentals right in town. You can walk to shops, restaurants, the brewery and greenway. 5 bedrooms, 3 full bath this house sits on on over a half acre lot so we have a big back yard and patio has a gazebo with insect nets and setting for 10. The upstairs game room has a foosball table and a great round table for playing games. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you might need to cook up your favorite meal. Or ask us about our Chef who will customize a menu just for you
