The owner was very attentive when communicating. The home was really clean and enjoyable to stay in long term. Location was central for us for the area. My husband and I would stay here again or recommend to family and friends.
This was a good value rental though not what I was really looking for. There were a few issues with the property that I discussed with the host. He responded back in a timely manner and assured me he would be addressing the issues in the near future.
Overall, the place got the job done. We were there for 10 days for a couple of clay tournaments, so the location was ideal. I normally never leave reviews, but I also depend on them when making my decisions to rent a place. I am only leaving this for the owner for some constructive criticism. 1. When we arrived, the gate was closed, so I had to message for the code. It did not work. After trying for 30 min, I messaged again, and he replied that it had not been working and there was another entrance to use. No big deal, just could have used all the information at one time. 2. When we got in, there was a horrid odor coming from the kitchen trash can, so we had to put it outside. There was already trash in the outdoor main trash as well. to the point that by mid-week maggots had begun to happen. There were no instructions on trash removal days, but I also did not ask either.3. The fridge was barely working, but my husband unplugged it and plugged it back in, and that helped a little.4. There was leftover food from the previous guest in the freezer.5. The pans NEED replaced. They are dirty and quite gross. The grill was also very gross. 6. There were no hot pad holders, only one kitchen towel and one dish rag. 7. The bedrooms do not have ceiling fans and all bedrooms are upstairs. One the master had a box fan and only the master had a TV.8. This is supposed ot be pet friendly but the gap under the fence is large enough a med dog could escape
