Pine Cone Inn. Room M8 - King & a twin.
You can rent all 4 by making separate reservations for each one. Plenty of room for snowmobiles and trailers. We also have a 2 Bedroom cabin to increase occupancy, provide more room to congregate and allow for group meals with the fully equipped kitchen. Wake up and hit the trails. Direct access to over 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Its a snow lovers dream! For larger groups, ask about other units available close by.
We had a pleasant one-night stay at this very clean and cozy spot. While Google Maps was slightly off with the location, we were still able to find it without much trouble. As itâs an older building, the walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring units was noticeable at times. That said, the host was excellent with communication and made sure we had everything we needed. We left early the next morning to continue our journey north, and overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stopover.
We enjoyed our stay. It was not dirty by any means, but just like anywhere else, the corners and could use some extra attention. The only "complaint" (and it really isn't even that) is we were in a corner unit. The blinds didn't fit the windows as I would gave liked them to, so I felt a little exposed. That's personal preference though!
I nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle and noise of a large chain hotel.Room are small but sufficient, with a rustic appeal. Perfect for a up-north getaway.
This property was a great location for a couple or two people looking for a place to stay with extremely close access to the local snowmobile trails and plenty of space in the parking lot to park large trucks and trailers. We would definitely stay here again if we ever need plan another trip to Gaylord.
Lodging was great. It is a clean and friendly place to stay about a mile out of town. Its also about the same distance to trail 7 but you will have to ride city streets to get to it. Kind of tough if there isnt any snow left on the street. You can trailer your sleds about 3 to 4 miles and there is a public access off Otsego way right behing mama Leone's resteraunt that is on trail 4.
This place is perfect for a perfect stay. It is in a very convenient location. Easy on and off from I 75.
The only thing that we didnt like was the water pressure and we were unable to control the hot in the shower.
Besides that this place is great and we will probably return in the future.
This room is small, but sufficient. We didn't use the shower, so I cannot comment about that. We did have an issue with the heater. I texted our host about it as soon as we realized it wasn't working. But we got there late and didn't notice until about 11:00pm. She didn't respond until morning. There is an Edenpure in the room as well, but we didn't know that. So that first night was COLD. After turning on the Edenpure, it was very toasty and our second night was fine. Other than that, our stay was great and we enjoyed our time in Gaylord.
The office was closed when I got there no way to get in did not answer the phone number that was posted on door for 2 hours had to find another place to stay I am requesting a refund on my money. The lady I talked to when they call me her name was Sandy w
