Super clean, cute decor, gorgeous bathroom, comfy beds, all the kitchen basics. Plus extra snacks and water and some fun New Year’s Eve party supplies for our stay! 1/2 mile stroll to downtown Medicine Park and just a few minutes drive will get you inside the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

This was a wonderful cottage with a wonderful host. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and charming!! The shower was magnificent!!! If you're looking to stay in Medicine Park you should stay here.

Beautifully decorated & comfortable cottage. Highly recommend if you prefer a hippy, off the beaten path situation. We did not visit the restaurant or shops in medicine park but they looked quaint. The primary visit was for our daughter’s army graduation in fort sill.

This home was everything and more!! First of all, it’s gorgeous and the view out back is so beautiful! By far the best experience we’ve had with traveling! The hosts were so gracious with water and snacks just in case!! Everything you’d need is there and they are very quick to respond! 10/10!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful cottage. The host went above and beyond, helping me find places to eat and see in the area and even left us a happy anniversary card. Owners thought of everything you’d need for a stress free stay. Only downside is the location isn’t the closest and the hill makes the walk back a workout. We’ll definitely be back, one night wasn’t enough!

We had an amazing stay at Acorn Cottage! Incredible clean, and the location was perfect for exploring Medicine Park. Annie was very responsive and helpful, providing us with great local recommendations. We were here for our son’s BCT graduation at Fort Sill. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Cottage

This is a wonderful cottage close to the activity, yet quiet and private. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. I have stayed here more than once, and I will definitely return. It's a short walk to the dam and lake. The location is perfect. Just as described.

Our stay was amazing. The house was a great size super clean amazing walk in shower. We came to see our son graduate from the Army. It was only 10 minutes to base. This will be on out listof places to stay in the future.

Perfect little place

Host was super helpful; gave info on things to do/nice establishments and food in area, very communicative, left snacks and waters and a personalized note. The vrbo itself was super nice - clean, updated, nice amenities/features, very cute. 10/10, would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Another absolutely stellar annual visit to Acorn Cottage at Medicine Park. April 9-12, 2026 was my third stay at Acorn Cottage. The property was spotless. Exactly as described and in photos. Bedding was excellent and super comfortable. Some furniture was even updated since last stay even though it was impeccable last year. The bathroom and shower are outstanding. Shower is large, has several heads and pressure is good. Shower is stocked with Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner. Towels were excellent, white and deeply fluffy. Kitchen was fully stocked with every manner of cooking need. Coffee K-Cup varieties were provided. Appliances were clean, shiny and current. Range top is electric but we didn't cook as there were several area restaurants to visit. HVAC worked very well removing humidity and cooling quickly. Fans in each room with remotes. TV provided streaming service availability - we didn't use it much as there was so much to do, but it worked without issue and the viewing area was comfortable. Outside lighting is provided and our vehicles were illuminated through the nights. Traffic is light and our sleep was not disturbed. Property is just the right distance from town. You COULD walk, it has nice views of the lake and the stocking station as you enter town. The 'back' exit along the lake is a beautiful windy road. Just an excellent place to stay - already booked our 4th stay in 2027. Owner communicates exceptionally well.
