Great place to stay for my family of 4 as an end of summer trip. Access to the community pool was great. Cozy little condo with everything you need. We love coming to hidden valley! Thanks Amy.
We had a lovely family getaway at Hidden Valley Resort, and I canât recommend this place enough. While Iâve visited the area before and already loved its natural beauty, this particular stay truly stood out. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a âwelcome homeâ feeling thatâs hard to find. The space was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and surprisingly spacious. Although itâs perfect for couples, we comfortably accommodated five peopleâincluding my teenage daughter and her friendsâwith ease. Everyone felt at home, and the atmosphere made our weekend feel effortless and restorative. Most importantly, Amy and Sung were exceptional hostsâkind, responsive, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Theyâve created something really special here, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The pricing was very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better.Thank you, Amy and Sung, for your generosity and hospitality. Weâll definitely stay in touch and look forward to coming back!
We loved this cute & cozy place for a quick weekend trip! It was perfect for our little family and very quiet. It has a great outdoor deck space which was perfect to be able to get some fresh air and relax. We will definitely come back!
Perfect place for my family and our dog to stay for the weekend. Loved the fireplace too! Thank you for providing amenities and making it such a great place to stay.
Clean cute place. Loft is great for kids to sleep in. Walls are super thin and one bedroom has a âwindowâ into the living room covered by mini blinds so whoever is in there is easily disturbed by kitchen or living room noise. Owners super responsive. Everything you need for a quick weekend getaway. Even had coffee there for us!
Property was clean and well stocked. Plenty of space for 3 of us (husband and daughter.) Nice hiking trails nearby. Amy was very prompt to respond. Good getaway. We will be back! Thank you!
Stopped in for some hiking at Laurel Hill State Park, which was gorgeous! House was cute and efficient, pretty clean (except for some dog hair) with a nice layout and convenient location. Amy was easy to deal with and provided easy access, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. We were a little disappointed that the fireplace had a "do not use" sign on it although it was advertised and there were also a few broken items that needed attention (coffee table, blinds, sliding door) but none of this took away from the trip at all...we had a blast! Thanks Amy!
Nice overall experience, good location, host very much on top of things. However, property could use some modernization. Room a/c units struggle to keep unit cool. Fire pit and deck were very nice touch, and, cleanliness and attention to essentials were on point. Would definitely come back here again!.
Only thing is that you could hear everything outside the master bedroom window and sometimes a ton of the neighbors are not very quiet at 1/2am other than that great location
We arrived on an almost 90 degree day to find the property with all windows closed, no fans on and no AC on. The only AC was a portable unti with no way to vent out the hot air so any cool air that blew out the front was more than matched by incredibly hot air just flowing out the back. It never caught up, never got below 80 in the house. Uncomfortable is putting it lightly. Contacted the host and she said there were 3 portable fans and that it is hot in PA in the summer. Home was advertised to have a pool. The community pool was actually over a mile away, with no direction from the host how to get there, even when I text her and asked. We had to drive around blindly to find it. The pool required a pool pass, which the host was supposed to supply. She did not. When asked she said it "should probably be fine" if we tried to just sneak in and we "shouldn't get kicked out" if we didn't have a pass. The grill on the back deck was so full of grease, that the grease caught fire when trying to cook burgers. And right behind the grill in the fence was a large bees nest, so we had lots of bees outside with us when trying to eat. Of course, we had to eat outside because it was too hot to be in the house. The front "foyer" had so many random rugs thrown on it. We discovered this was because the entry was just sharp, broken concrete she was trying to cover up. The water pressure was very low and we could only get enough pressure to do dishes if we pulled the sprayer out and held it.)
This place was so comfy and cozy. I loved how there were games there for people to do and it was open spaces. The neighborhood was friendly and cute as well.
We had a mother/daughter bestie weekend at this cute little getaway! We were so close to Hidden Valley- that was a major win for us. It was warm and inviting. The closest little shop is about 13 minutes away and is truly the basics. Since it was a holiday weekend, we did not get to explore the town much, but heard from the ski instructors that it is beautiful.
