Brand New for Summer 2023! Simply Zen is a luxurious, oceanside and private 1-bedroom (king bed), 1 full bath condo with a fully stocked kitchen in the heart of duck! The condo is attached to our vacation home which is not rented. The condo has a private & separate entrance. Simply Zen also offers for your use only a large and beautiful private pool with hot tub, barbecue, & corn hole toss. There is also an outside shower. You can take a very short walk to the coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurants, boardwalk, and the most glorious sunsets. And then walk to the beach at the other end of the street to enjoy a beach private to the residents and guests of Marlin Drive. . A relaxing place to enjoy your coffee in the morning and beverages of choice in the evening. The condo is equipped with beach chairs and towels, as well as sheets and bath towels. So, what are you waiting for, pack your clothes and book your vacation with Simply Zen! New and beautiful memories are waiting for you! Adults only, no children or pets.

What a beautiful, relaxing property! Our stay was so incredible whether we were at the beach at the end of the private street or in the pool in the calming yard. Situated perfectly in Duck with quick access to all. The condo was incredibly clean and well situated for our mother/daughter vacation!

Home away from home. Relax in a quiet setting that puts you in close proximity to all the OBX activities. Clean and comfortable condo with full access to private pool, hot tub, and all amenities anyone could ask for.

Walking distance to the beach, hot tub and pool and in the heart of OBX! Amazing home, great communication with owner and they even sent us a video tour which explained everything! Can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this place!!

First time going to Duck, and this was a great place to stay! A yard with a private pool and hot tub at a great price. Owners are super communicative and provide everything you need at the condo. Definitely recommend if you’re planning on vacationing in the area!

Duck Relaxation

Beautiful property with lots of privacy. My husband and I enjoyed the pool area which was lovely. The condo was very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Beach is close and lots of things to do in town within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at Simply Zen and will definitely be back. Our first trip to OBX was made perfect with the beautiful accommodations. The condo is the perfect size for one couple.

First time in Duck

My husband and I stayed for several days and we can’t add anymore superlatives to other reviews. The communication, location, privacy and accommodations were top-notch. The place was just fabulous and having a private pool and large yard to extend our environment outside was unlike anything we’ve experienced. Such a perfect location to be able to walk to beach or the village. Great memories made!

Very nice place to have pool, sun, and hot tub to yourself. Nice and relaxing and fairly private. All is just a short easy walk away; beach, shops, restaurants. The owners seem to be very respectful of privacy making guests truly feel like it's Zen.

Beautiful Gem of a Property in Duck

Beautiful and well-appointed property. Great neighborhood and location near the beach, restaurants and shops. Owners were thoughtful and nice. It actually snowed the day we were to arrive, and they cleared the driveway of snow for us. Interior was smartly decorated and very clean. Thoughtful owners provided advice on local attractions and dining spots. Also provided towels for the pool and blankets for the cool weather. Great owners!

We enjoyed our stay. Great place for a couple to get away and relax. Location is great, pretty much in the middle of town. You can walk to several eating spots and the beach. The swimming pool is excellent as well. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

It is very Zen

From the introductory Video of the property to the quick response from the owners. Our experience staying here was the best we ever had in a VRBO unit. The location and amenities both inside and outside of the unit basically leaves you only needing your clothes and something to eat and drink. We would definitely stay here again!

OBX Treasure

The condo was so clean and so well-stocked that we thought we must be the first guests to stay there! The pool is large enough to swim laps in, and we had it all to ourselves! The location is absolutely perfect: walking distance to many shops on the main drag, as well as walking distance to the beach! We've already made our reservations for next year for a longer stay! Perfect for couples getaway

This place was absolutely perfect. The condo is suited perfectly for a couples getaway, private hot tub and pool was a perfect touch. The hosts thought of every detail and made this stay very easy and relaxing. Also appreciated the quick responses to any questions we had! The location is great because it’s walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops and private beach access. Will definitely book here again!

The Perfect Rental

Honestly we were impressed! Very nice, very new, very clean, very private! The owners were super easy to communicate with and even give a great walk-around/instructional video explaining the place before you check in! Private road with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also very close to local coffee shops and restaurants. Apartment was clean and comfortable, while you have tons of outdoor space with a pool and hot tub for a relaxing day!

Perfect getaway in the heart of Duck

Simply Zen is a must when staying in Duck. The property has recently been updated and is walking distance to both the beach and shops/restaurants. The hosts, Daniel and Robin, are wonderful and will answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend booking your stay at Simply Zen!

Great couple getaway

We had a great visit at Zen in Duck! The space worked really well for two people and was well stocked for what we needed. The pool was a nice change from going to the beach and really appreciated the options with the outdoor space. Also appreciated how easy was to contact Dan with any questions during our stay.

Appreciated the Welcome Video

My husband & I travel a lot, we have never had such an inviting video with instructions of remotes, hot tub as well as location of condo. Well supplied with essential. Lots of privacy, perfect location.The owner has made great use of the space, we appreciate the king bed! We walked every morning to beach to watch sunrise, saw wild horse, Jordyn State park, ate at Treehouse & Paper Canoe, shopping across the way was the best in the area. All in within walking distance.

Relaxing Getaway

Zen in Duck

We loved this cute condo. Decor was relaxing. The pool and hot tub were awesome additions. The location was great- an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The name describes it perfectly-Zen!! Will definitely go again. Highly recommend!
