Our Cowboys Hideout is on a working horse ranch with spectacular mountain views!
Enjoy peace and quiet roaming freely on 45 acres of beautiful horse ranch property surrounded by the foothills in Three Rivers. Visit mares, foals and stallions in thier pastures. There are horses and a pony in the horse stables adjacent to your living quarters. You have a private enclosed back yard patio with a barbecue and are just 6 miles away from Sequoia National Park entrance! The ranch has majestic views all around and the stars will hurt your eyes at night. Wild turkeys randomly roam the property and youâll most likly hear roosters crowing in the mornings and coyotes or wolves howling at night. You are just minutes away from the hub of of Three Rivers. There are fun restaurants with gorgeous river views, a local brewery, two cool coffee shops, the best sandwitch shop, a yogert shop and a world famous candy store. In the summer there are rivers to swim and Lake Kaweah is minutes away. Winters are mild here and there is snow in Sequoia National Park. Its a unique experience year round. Come to visit!
We loved our stay at the hideout! The pictures dont do it justice. So comfortable inside with everything you need. The hosts are attentive but never crowd your space. We loved visiting the horses and guving them carrots. We will absolutely be back!
Wonderful stay at an unique place! It's a tranquil spot for enjoying nature in peace, but close to the town and the park too. We loved being able to see the horses and took a lovely walk around the neighborhood in the morning. We also appreciated all the many thoughtful touches in the cabin from the coffee bar and snacks to the comfy beds with nice linens. The AC was good and the little yard perfect for breakfast and a little stargazing. Being able to bring our dog was a definite plus as well.
We had the best stay! Close to the parks and a nice swimming area for cooling off on a hot day. We took an evening stroll around the pastures to see the horses and Tilly each night. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to use. Highly recommend for a trip to sequoia!
This place is even cuter than you think! The horses, the view, the accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. Chearl was extremely accommodating and kind! There were snacks available, waters, plenty of towels, the home is roomy and very clean with great AC. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend!
This is a lovely place for a family. We enjoyed seeing the farm views and horses. The owners have thought of everything you might need during your stay: snacks, kitchen items, ice cubes, bathroom supplies and condiments. Happy to have a great shower and air conditioning with adjustable thermostat. Kids said the hide-a-bed was super comfy. Great proximity to Saguaro and Kings Canyon National Parks. We would be happy to stay again!
The property is exactly as described. It is cozy. It is clean. It is quiet. The town (Three Rivers) is a heartbeat away, and the entrance to Sequoia National Park is hardly much farther. We stayed for two nights and had a good night's sleep on both nights. The hosts, Chearl and Linda, provided clear instructions before we arrived and as we were about to leave. They stay in touch when you need them to and leave you alone otherwise. I would recommend the place without any reservations.
Beautiful first visit to sequoia! Great little spot with beautiful vista and great AC. Very easy check in and generous amenities available. Thank you for a great stay!
Our stay at the Cowboy Hideout exceeded all expectations. Chearl was a top notch host, and the setting within the horse ranch is simply stunning. We hope to return someday!
Our Cowboy's Hideout was a great place to stay for our visit to Sequoia National Park. There was plenty of space for us and our friends, and the back patio was perfect for hanging out and stargazing at night. The hosts were very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. I highly recommend staying here for if you're traveling with 2-4 people.
Friendly people, beautiful setting, and just what we needed for a week of activities divided between the Sierras and the Visalia area. The Hideout gave us all the space and quiet that we like. We really enjoyed breakfast on the deck, watching the morning sun light up the hills. Chearl has great communication. And if you are lucky, you might have the opportunity to have "experiences unique to a working house ranch"
This place so unique and cool. You literally sleep in the stables! Everything is as listed and more! We were given snacks and drinks - thank you! Highly recommend this place!
We had a great time, I went with my parents and they loved it. When I saw the pictures I was afraid that maybe it was going to have this old smell, but no. It was very nice and clean, it doesn't really feel old. Also they have a lot of amenities that we really appreciate. There's some people entering in the property to feed the animals but they don't invade your privacy. The bed it's very comfy, the sofa it's ok. I would go back for sure if I can and of course I would recommend it. :)
My only complaint is that we have to leave! We absolutely LOVED our stay here!! The horses were beautiful, the scenery was beautiful, everyone is so friendly and the Sequoia park is close. At night you hear frogs, crickets, horses and coyotes in the distance. The owners are super nice and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again, I can't wait to come back,
The scenery was absolutely stunning, everything was lush and green, and the horses on the property were so cute! The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the massage was such a nice bonus. It is super close to Sequoia NP and many other hiking spots. Iâd definitely come back!
Exactly what we needed for our trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The space is cozy, little snacks provided, and the property is stunning!
This was a very unique stay. Arrived at night, woke up in the morning and peaked out the window to see 2 horses and a cow looking in my direction. Joy! If you like being around horses this is your place! You cannot pet them, but they will come over and say hello to you. Nice property and prompt communication by host.
This was a perfect little house for my family of 4. The property owner was very detailed on how to get to the house. Everything went seamless. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Sequoia National Park. Great views!!!!
We had a fantastic time at the Cowboys Hideout. Chearl was accommodating, communicative and kind. The place was exactly what is shown on the website. Clean, hospitable and cozy. We loved walking around and seeing the horses. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Cowboys hideout. The location is beautiful and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property which made it a very easy and comfortable place to stay. Perfect for a trip to Sequoia National Park.
