You will not have to leave our farm to be entertained.
It's breathtaking area and the cabin is beautiful and welcoming..... The owners are amazing and have thought of everything to make the stay perfect....
Close enough to town (Fort Payne) yes far enough away it's quiet and relaxing. Found some quaint shops in town as well an awesome (gas station) cafe` close to Little River Canyon. Would definitely return for another long weekend.
Beautiful scenery. Great place if you love the outdoors. The cabin was very clean and the decorations was amazing. We loved spending time in the hot tub. My kids loved the playground with goats as well.
My husband an I wanted a long weekend get away for our first anniversary. Needless to say this will be our go to place for our future anniversaries! Great cabin, super sweet owners. Made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this place!
My wedding gift to my son and his new bride was a getaway to this cabin. I could not have picked a better place! The owners were wonderful, everything was clean, the views are spectacular, the animals a breath of fresh air and the entire experience was SIMPLY PERFECT.
PROS; Clean, quiet, sunrise over the pasture with cows, and the goats. CONS: you can see owners house from the porch swing and hot tub. Not secluded( if thats your preference). No closets or dresser for unpacking bags. Would have been helpful to have a book or something with directions to Bear creek and also things to do in the area
I wanted to take my 2 boys on a little weekend getaway just to unwind and relax. We wanted a cabin with an upstairs and a hot tube. (Their must haves) haha. I wanted to take them to Mentone to see the falls in the area so we decided on this cabin due to be far enough away from everything but still close to town. It was absolutely perfect. The cabin was everything the 3 of us needed and the boys loved the grounds with the goats swing slide and rocks. The hot tube was a huge hit and the fireplace made it feel so warm after coming in from the freezing temps. It had everything we needed for our stay. We will be staying there again in the future.
The cabin was beautiful inside and out. We loved sitting on the porch watching wildlife ( baby lizzard, bird's, squirrels, ) and the fresh country air was very healing. The hot tub was so sparkling clean and at the correct temperature to melt away aching joints almost like therapy in a tub. A Quiet spot to read and or write a novel. We enjoyed the goaties , very tame and friendly. Randy and Sandy have a huge fishing pond that is picturesque, that guests could fish .The owners are the best hosts ever. We enjoyed our vacation tremendously. No worries and well rested is what we received from our stay. We will absolutely NEVER forget the experience as it was heaven on earth to us.
The place was very clean. I expected the cabin to smell old since it was built in the 1800s but it didnât. The place was well cared for. The sunrise views were amazing.
Even though there are other cabins on the property, we were spread out enough that we had plenty of privacy.
Thank you Randy and Sandy for sharing your property with us!
