Restored one bedroom and loft log cabin on the Gallatin River in Big Sky, Montana. World class trout fishing at the front door. Hundreds of miles of national forest land with hiking trails in the backyard. Located in a small grouping of cabins across the river from the Cinnamon Lodge accessed by a private road and bridge.
18 minutes to Big Sky Town Center (14 miles) 28 minutes to Big Sky Resort (20 miles) 45 minutes to West Yellowstone (37 miles) 1 hour to Bozeman (52 miles)
The space: The cabin has a queen bed with a small loft with two single mattresses; good for adventurous adults and kids.
Guest access: Guests have access to the full cabin, front and back yard with included fire pit.
Other things to note: Please note, during the winter months guests will need to park at the bridge and walk across to access the cabin. There is a designated parking area.
Loved this property. It was perfect in every way. It was fully equipped. It was very cozy, beautiful views! Would highly recommend! The host was very responsive, very nice!
We had an excellent stay while on a ski trip at Big Sky! The cabin had everything we needed and perfectly matched the posting description. A would recommend and stay again!
The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen had all you need to fix meals. It also stayed remarkably cool even in 85 degree days thanks to the shade from yhe trees. Simply gorgeous area surrounded by the mountains and woods. It made for the perfect basecamp during our trip. 40 minutea to yellowstone, about 15 to Big Sky the other direction, and numerous local trail heads anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes away.Highly reccommend if you're ever in the area.
The cabin was clean and had ample cooking utensils. The only thing is the lack of electrical outlets. No outlets in the loft and when cooking you had to unplug the coffee pot or toaster in order to fix either.
We had a great time at this authentic cabin. The scenery was beautiful, right in the river, and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for 4-nights on a skit trip. Just a great little cabin in a beautiful location. Fully equipped and cozy. Peaceful location with river right out the front door.Easy, scenic 30-minute drive to Big Sky. 10-15 minutes from Riverhouse for great dinners. The Corral not far away either for drinks and dinner.
Really enjoyed our stay, had all the amenities and strong wifi. Always warm and hot water.
Highly recommended for a ski trip. Great location riverside !
Super cute, clean and nice. We stayed in the winter. The wood burning stove is a cool touch and everything was as we thought. One note for folks coming in the winter is that the parking is a bit away from the cabin so you need to lug your luggage and food through the snow, which may not be easy for everyone. Happy traveling, nice place!
Great place with all the amenities to enjoy time away and easy access to the surrounding areas... Kitchen fully stocked, hot water shower, stove keeps the heat all night. We enjoyed using it as a 'home base' during our MT/WY adventures.
We booked this sweet cabin for our ski trip to Big Sky. It proved to be an amazing base for our adventures. Quiet, serene and private was just what we needed. We did not mind the hike in over the snow packed bridge, but could see this as a problem for those with mobility issues. Natalie was absolutely great at getting back to us when we had questions, and the cabin was toasty warm. We will definately be back.
The location was amazing so beautiful and just secluded enough that it was a perfect get away. So much to explore right in the backyard. perfect size for two adults, everything you need is just a short drive up to big sky. Would book again!!!!
We loved the cabin and the location. It was very quiet. There is a small resort across the river but we hardly noticed. Also, itâs close to a lot of amazing hiking trails, whitewater rafting, and fishing. Highly recommend!
This is a great little place. Beautiful view out in the front deck. Could have used a TV for background noise but it was a nice change. Would stay again. Feel like a true Montana stay rather than at a resort that feel corporate.
The cabin was awesome!! Had everything we needed and was in a great location for everything we wanted to experience in northern Montana! Natalie was fantastic at answering questions and modifying our reservationâŠone of the best hosts we have had!!âThe cabin is located behind Cinnamon Lodge, on a road that doesnât quite look like a road, it took a minute to find it, and there is no cell signal to call and ask. It truly is right on the river, it was spectacular!!
We loved the simplicity of this rustic property. We didnât need more than it offered, and we liked being so close to the river. The price was reasonable and the daily drive to Big Sky was not a problem at all.
Right on the water. Cozy cabin, amenties and cookware were nice, actually had spices in the cabinets. Porch was awesome to drink coffe in the morning and listen to the river run at night
Right on the river with a fantastic view and good fishing. There was a little more traffic noise than I expected, but not bad. It is a tighter fit than expected and could benefit from a few things in the kitchen, an arm chair or couch and resupply of trash bags with a larger can for longer stays like ours.
In general, it was great, and the price was right. If I ever get to go back, it is on my short list of places to stay!
