Sugar on the Green! Nice condo, walking distance to golf course and ski lodge

Welcome to Sugar on the Green, a comfortable, updated condo with a spacious balcony porch overlooking the #4 green on the Sugar Mountain golf course. The conveniet location at the base of the mountain features beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain in the winter and is a short walk to the ski slopes, golf and tennis facilities. In winter the town offers a free shuttle service.
The updated kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample cabinet space. Spacious, open main living room has a gas fireplace, lots of windows showcasing fabulous views, and a sliding glass door that leads out to the balcony porch that overlooks a lush mountain forest and golf course. The balcony deck is our favorite feature, ideal for watching golfers battle the challenging fourth green, or observing wildlife including deer, ground hogs, chipmunks, flying squirrels and a plethora of birds who enjoy visiting the feeders off the porch.
The two upstairs bedrooms each have their own private, updated bathrooms and large closets.
Downstairs features an additional living space, sink, refrigerator, coffee area, laundry, and bedroom with another private bath. There is also an additional private entrance from the outside.
The Sugar Mountain Golf course was voted the #2 executive (par 64) in the US. The condo is located on the 4th hole, rated the most difficult because of the challenging slope leading up to the green. You can spend an afternoon on the porch watching golfers struggle to hit the green without rolling back down the hill, or hitting a putt too hard and seeing it roll off the green and down the slope. In the winter time it is a short walk to the ski lodge.
There is a covered sitting area across the parking lot perfect for grilling out or sitting by the fire pit. There are several short hikes within walking distance, and it is a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock.
