The space was quite magical! Overall, the outside garden and patio was our favorite part of the stay. The inside was very clean and tidy with a variety of amenities. We really enjoyed our stay while we were there!

The home was very well maintained and clean. The checkin process was seamless and there were excellent instructions provided throughout. This was a wonderful place to relax and call home for the week that we stayed to explore Portland. Would highly recommend!

This was a home away from home. Every night we came back and felt at peace and safe and comfortable. It was my daughter and I traveling so safety was key. The place was immaculate. The provisions were over the top! The BED, was the most comfortable bed away from home I’ve EVER slept in. The lighting, phenomenal. The wall of windows, my dream for my home. The flowers and plants, outstanding! Location was great, in the heart of the city, but far enough out to be quiet. The owner communicated quickly to any question I had. When we return to Portland, we will definitely be seeking to stay here again.

An amazing unit, would recommend to everyone. Yard is lush and beautiful, interior is very well appointed. Check in and out and communication with Melissa is super easy. She has gone above and beyond to make your experience perfect! 100% would recommend!

What a peaceful oasis!!! The backyard is perfect for evening sits. Loved the gas fireplace as well. Thoughtful snacks and amenities. What a delightful haven.

Serene and peaceful setting in the southwest hills. Spacious and very well equipped. Living room has pretty view of lawn surrounded by beautiful landscaping, or if warmer, seating on the patio. Special touches include the widest selection of coffee and tea for any taste, a heated bidet for your tush, and a gas fireplace to warm the rest of you. This served us very well as our home away from home while moving.

The place is indeed spacious, with a private patio and lush backyard. All the amenties you would expect, i.e large den and an up-to-date kitchen. Tastefully decorated with prints on the wall. In short, a very nice home away from home. Location is good, near Washington Park and all it has to offer. There is a guest manual that covers just about everything. Melissa was a gracious host, and always responded quickly to my questions and concerns.

This was a great place to stay. The location is fantastic--very easy to get around and see many Portland area attractions in our rental car. The host was wonderful. We did not need any assistance during our stay, but I'm confident if something had come up, Melissa would have helped. Highly recommend 10/10

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this apartment with its large living room, bedroom and full kitchen. It was very clean and well-equipped. Melissa was great to work with. I would love to stay here again!

Thank you Judy, I really appreciate the great review! For those of you reding reviews, I do just want to clarify (as described in the listing), our kitchen is new and full in size, but not considered a "full kitchen", since there is not a full sized stove/oven.

Excellent location and and excellent host:always ready to help and answer my question. This is kind of the most amazing stay I've ever had at a Verbo. They really take the time to stock everything we needed. Enormous refrigerator, large kitchen, bedroom and Games/TV ROOM-Gas fireplace used to heat the room. Close to Multnomah, Hillsdale, Raleigh Hills, Beaverton, Downtown. We definitely will stay here again!

Loved the VRBO overall; location and interior design…and garden….but warning to LARGER vehicles…such as mid/size trucks….Luckily the owner had her 2 vehicles moved after calling her that I could not turn my rig around like smaller vehicles could (3 point turn as she instructs guests to do )..but moving the 2 vehicles made it “little” easier to park, even though I had to watch for traffic and back up steep driveway (not the best option; but I made it work…even though driveway is on 2 blind curves…be very CAUTIOUS!…Melissa was very accommodating however….I only have 2 other issues…I wish the big windows in main sitting area had curtains because being there by myself I didn’t watch any TV because I wanted more privacy and would have loved option to close curtains in living room…Even though the VRBO is behind gate and BEAUTIFUL secret garden, I am one that just want curtains pulled…..and the king size bed was not comfortable, very hard and kinda bumpy….Would I stay here again, YES…..but only if I was in small car, and was with my husband, and but would hope they would get a more comfortable bed…..because technically I was only there to sleep….The VRBO otherwise is PERFECT….Very clean, beautiful kitchen and overall great….I THANK Melissa for accommodating me in this stressful time with my husband being at OHSU hospital for Open Heart Surgery…and literally checking us…so kind of her….GREAT LOCATION….and I felt safe!!!Thank you Meliss

I'm sorry you felt the need to give us only 4/5 stars. The listing states in two different places (description and amenities) "no oversized vehicles, max length 18 feet". Also, our driveway entrance and parking area are extremely roomy at three times the width of a regular city driveway. Additionally the parking, driveway and road are all pictured in the listing. As to the bed we've had 18 reviews (on the two platforms we're listed on) specifically praising the bed. Many saying "most comfortable bed". Dozens more that praise overall comfort, and many that say "best stay of all". For the living room windows and privacy, again the windows are featured heavily in the photos and show no curtains or blinds. The yard is fully fenced and elevated above the road with no sightline into the unit or even into the yard. No neighboring homes can see into the yard/unit either. It is extremely private, which is noted in many of our other reviews. I would highly suggest reviewing future stays more closely, for your and your host's benefit. Be sure to read the entire description and look at all the picture, reach out with questions before booking...

I travel for work and this last time, I was traveling for a month. I was so lucky to have found Melissa’s property. It was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed to be comfy and have a place to call home for a month. I have another friend coming to the area for work and have already recommended it! We had a wonderful stay at this Portland VRBO and would gladly stay here again. The accommodations were exceptionally clean and honestly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Everything was well-maintained, organized, and clearly cared for.The host was excellent to work with and always responded quickly to any questions or communication, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.We also appreciated the neighborhood. It felt very safe. What really stood out were the thoughtful personal touches throughout the home. Small details like nightlights already in place, Kleenex readily available, and other conveniences made the space feel welcoming and showed that the host had put a lot of thought into guests' comfort.Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The combination of a responsive host, spotless accommodations, a safe neighborhood, and thoughtful amenities made for a truly enjoyable visit. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Portland.

Quiet Oasis

Loved the quiet setting with an outside garden view and a beautiful view west to the Coastal Range. Everything was very clean and well-stocked, and we appreciated the private entrance, as well.

Quiet and Comfortable

This spot was everything advertised, and I was very happy with my stay. The kitchen was very good, wifi was solid, and the bed and couch were very comfortable. The host was very communicative and left very clear instructions for everything, which was great.
