Cute Fully-Updated Downtown Bishop Home. This fantastic house is centrally located in downtown Bishop. Walkable to all of the shops and restaurants on Main St.
The home has an inviting, cozy, and sophisticated style. Bishop and the surrounding area offers an array of activities depending on the season, visitors can enjoy snowboarding, hiking, fishing, climbing, biking, off-roading, and horseback riding. Bishop is only 35 minutes from Mammoth. Stay with us and be our guests!

This home offers a master bedroom with a king size bed, and en suite bathroom. One bedroom offers two twin size beds, one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. This 1400 square-foot home also offers a large galley kitchen, washer & dryer, 75 inch TV in the living room, along with every room having a TV that will connect to the internet. The living room TV comes with basic cable & local HD channels. You can log into your own netflix account from the smart TV’s.
The home is equipped with fiber optic internet, on demand hot water, forced heating & cooling.

This is a beautiful house with plenty of room. Lovely kitchen with all new appliances. Very clean! TVs in every bedroom with a large TV in the living room. Easy to find and close to many interesting places to visit. The trip up to Mammoth Lodge is a must - especially the gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Sarah and Chris are a great team and were easy to communicate with. All questions were answered promptly and they had great instructions. You can’t go wrong staying at The Californian VRBO in Bishop CA!

Really enjoyed the location of this home close to downtown. The home is vintage yet with a modern flair. It’s also great to have a kitchen fully stocked with all the equipment needed to make a home cooked meal after an outing to one of the fantastic activities in the area. Highly recommend the local breweries and the Laws Museum. Great locals including Chris and Sarah mean a great trip.

This house was an excellent base for our activities in the Bishop area. We enjoyed the comfort of the furnishings and the spaciousness of the rooms. It was easy to get a good night's rest because of the the beds were so comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.The ample counter space in the kitchen made meal prep easy. It is true about the proximity to restaurants and shops; we were just a few minutes from our favorite Mexican restaurant and the coffee shop that we frequent!Our hosts were very responsive and the check-in was easy.We would like to stay here again!

Wish we knew ahead of time we'd be kicked out if we had anymore than eight people there. we only had six staying, who were all clean and respectful of the property/host's home. We had four other friends in town who we would of liked to have had over to enjoy the yard, amenities and games. Overall very nice, clean and warm home. Given the last minute rule's/policies, our trip plans changed and we only showered and slept there.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here with our adult kids and their spouses. It was great to be so close to town, for shopping and coffee shops. The house itself was spotless, and so well-equipped with anything we might need. One of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed at. The hosts were amazing too, addressing a minor problem we had immediately. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in Bishop!

I was so impressed with how well outfitted this house was, with everything from coffee, welcoming snacks, various guides to the area, and a fun record player and old-school Nintendo. Communication was great, home was adorable and comfortable, and location was good. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful well stocked home

We loved our stay here. The house was clean, decorated cute and well stocked with supplies. The home was centrally located. The communication with Sarah was fantastic. It was a very easy check in and I knew if we needed anything Sarah would help us. We would definitely go back when we are in Bishop.

Clean, updated and great location!!

We enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely return to this VRBO every time we are in Bishop. The kitchen appliances are updated, there's a fully stocked keurig coffee bar and you have plenty of linens and towels, the washer and dryer was also a bonus. The beds were very comfortable as well as all the furniture. The place is updated, well kept and clean! The layout was perfect for our family and could easily have more family join for dinner

Excellent Home for a Mountain Stay!

We traveled with 3 small kids (6, 4, and 21 months) and this home was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy, and the wifi and hot water were reliable. The home also had a pack and play, high chair, and a stroller. We did several day trips to Mammoth and it was a straight shot up the mountain from Bishop. The small details around the house let you know the host cares about your experience and your stay.

Perfect for us...

The Californian was perfectly situated near the edge of town for easy walks to bakeries and bars. It was also perfect for our bike rides out of town up into the Sierras. The hosts Sarah and Chris were so generous with coffee, tea, cold drinks sweets for the trail or road. The Californian was a great base camp for my group of cycling buddies and me and Sarah and Chris made everything so comfortable. Much thanks.
