Our cabin offers a charming retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. With its rustic ambiance and proximity to the lake, golf courses, the Wisp Resort, and other surrounding attractions, our cabin provides a perfect escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you're looking to relax by the fireplace, hike the nearby trails, fish, or simply unwind on the deck surrounded by nature, our cabin offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for a truly unforgettable experience!

Guest access
You will be able to access all the Sky Valley Amenities including the beach, boat ramp, basketball courts, and fishing ponds. Beach and boat ramp are a short 3 minute drive from the property
The cabin includes a firepit and a large front porch for those that love to live in the outdoors.
A boat slip is not available at this time, however the property is large enough to park a boat.

Lovely Bungalow Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and location of Blue Sky! Lake access in the community was a real plus and proximity to Oakland, McHenry and DCL State Park was terrific. Highly recommend!

Great cabin in deep Creek

This is a great cabin. Kids loved the loft area. Comfortable beds and furniture. A lot of nice touches including Keurig with pods, shampoo dispensers in showers, and a well stocked kitchen. Would definitely come back.

Snowy Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Our family decided on an impromptu ski trip over the holiday and were so lucky to find this cozy home! We had lots of snow on the way up and were happy to enjoy a fire and the scenery. The host was great- she was very communicative and flexible when our plans changed. The house had everything we needed ! We hope to visit again in warmer weather!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Beautiful and clean accommodations and very receptive owners. i highly recommend. It is a very peaceful and tranquil setting.

Banx Vacation

It was a wonderful vacation. It was more for our dog than for us. He needed a place to go run and play and chase other animals which she got to do for a couple of days and also we got to go to the state parks and do a little bit of swimming. It was awesome, will do it again soon

Football road trip

We checked in for a long weekend that included a football game in Morgantown WV on Saturday. Guys golfed Friday and we explored the area- having lunch and drinks at silver tree Thursday, then unos on Friday, with a short visit to Honi-Honi. Game day was an easy one hour drive to Morgantown and a win for Penn Staye! Blue sky bungalow was perfect for the four of us. Hosts were responsive and it was a great way to kick off the football season!

Lovely location, the neighborhood had lots of amenities that were kid friendly. Short drive to other places in the area. Clean cabin and very kind host.

Blue Sky Get Away

Blue Sky is in a very nice, friendly community. We felt comfortable and safe. We took several walks around the community and it was very relaxing. It is only a 10 minute walk to the fishing pond and lake. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The cabin was clean, well maintained and felt like home. If we would have been able to stay longer we would have. Definitely going to book again.

Peaceful family get-away!

Me and my family had a wonderful time at the Blue Sky Bungalow! This was our first big family get-away. It was peaceful, relaxing and just what we needed. We grilled, roasted marshmallows, sat on the deck for meals, and swam in the lake. The weather was perfect. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the area provides a lot of shade which helps in the July heat. We were also happy the cabin was pet friendly as we brought our new puppy on his first trip! My kids are one and six and had a great time as well, lots of games for the kids to get into. We can't wait to make another trip!! Thanks Macy!!!

Fantastic property

Traveled with my husband, teen daughters plus one friend. Cabin was clean, cozy and the perfect place for a relaxing lake trip. Owner was easy with whom to communicate, although we didn't need anything...the whole process was smooth and house very well-equipped with essentials and some extras. Short drive to the lake. We will absolutely stay here again. If you choose this property, you won't be disappointed!

Girls Weekend Getaway

Nestled into the woods, access to lake and a short drive to town. Perfect location to everything. It was a lovely place to go for our yearly girls trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Cabin in the woods

This is a quaint property with great sleeping and living accommodations. The outside fire pit, swing, large deck and yard allowed for the feeling of seclusion in the woods. It was great for our family because the weather was extra cool for the season. We enjoyed the outside time though and it was perfect for building fires and enjoying that camp vibe and fishing in the community provided pond. From the pictures though, I did think this was more of a lake house. With the kayak picture depicting easy access and description saying the community provides it. It is, however, *quite* a drive (and not even really walkable unless you're into strenuous hiking) to the lake area, which then only provides a very tiny beach area. Likely, this community is for boat owners. Not easy for a family to have "day at the lake". You need to go to the state park and pay the fee per person to enjoy more of a lake day about 15 minutes away. We also learned the hard way, and therefore posting this info here in hopes that it helps someone else ,that VERIZON and major cell carriers DO NOT work there so DO NOT rely on GPS. The house provides WiFi so look up your locations and screenshot your directions before you leave the house. Our GPS never lost signal but just continued to calculate directions incorrectly.We were told we were not the only ones who have this problem by the state park workers and other locals that we had to get directions from. The owners should consider posting this in their booklet.
