This cottage was so magical! The horses and goats were a highlight and getting to snuggle with Vince the cat on the back deck was incredible! We will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at this property and reserved two of the cottages. Melinda was beyond helpful with running routes, bringing a steamer for clothes, recommendations, even found us an Uber for a wedding we attended.We loved being able to share an adjoining patio, relax on the lovely property including a wonderful hot tub, visit with their animals, be close to family and visit wineries.I hope to stay here again in the near future! Thank you again!

Had a wonderful time, our toddler especially enjoyed the horses and goats in addition to the backyard splendor! Well equipped kitchen and a comfortable place to stay.

This was a great place to stay. It was so clean and modern. The amenities were amazing. We loved the view of the pond from our room. The bed was comfortable. We were glad there wasn’t anyone staying in the rental next to us, because it made it feel so private. We would come back again.

The Barrel Property was well appointed with wonderful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The walk-in shower was wonderful with a rain shower head. The bed was comfy and the fireplace gave a nice ambiance. A spacious deck and hot tub were a fabulous location to wind down listening to the frogs from the pond. Overall a fantastic stay nestled close but feeling far away. I highly recommend

Relaxing

Check-in was very easy . The kitchen was well stocked and beautiful. We loved that there was a hot tub on our deck and a short walk to the pool. The bed was very nice and I loved the little couch for relaxing and reading a book. We would stay here again.

A Lovely Getaway

I picked this place for a solo writing retreat and it was great! Clean, beautiful room with peaceful surroundings. I enjoyed walking around the lake and through the vineyards. There's also a little town with a couple of restaurants in short walking distance.

Amazing stay

Our stay was so lovely and luxurious, from the pond views and gas tiki torches to the little extras, like fancy toothbrushes and a bottle of wine. The owners have put so much work into the property and into this space, and it shows! They are also lovely people who helped us with anything we needed. One of the best stays we've had anywhere.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this property. The amenities were plentiful, the room amazing, and the grounds peaceful. The deck and views are calming especially from the hot tub. The room is spacious, pristinely cleaned, and overall luxurious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

This VRBO was a dream — spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully designed down to every detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the fully-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking, and the deck was a beautiful place to relax with coffee and a book. Everything felt intentional and high quality, from the linens to the lighting. Melinda & Jerry are also fantastic, generous and responsive hosts!

Amazing

So luxurious! Hosts were very thoughtful and attentive while giving us privacy. They really went the extra mile to make us comfortable, way beyond expected. The property is impressive. They've put a lot of love in to it and it shows.

Our stay was great! The only downside was that there was another vrbo family staying on the same property (same shared porch) and there are no shades on the windows (only the doors) so we didn’t feel like we had good privacy from these neighbors. We also weren’t aware that there would be guests that would be so close by so this removed some of the romance of the trip. Melinda and Jerry were great!

We had an amazing weekend! Our toddler had a blast riding along on Jerry’s golf cart, falling in love with Midnight the curious cat, and bribing the horses with carrots. The pool and hot tub kept the whole family entertained, and the fresh eggs and chilled chardonnay were such a nice touch. We enjoyed a lovely evening chat with Jerry and are bummed we didn’t get to meet Melinda, who was out of town. Huge thanks to Jerry for being such a wonderful host!

Perfect weekend getaway

Melinda and Jerry were amazing host. I came with two French friends to have a relax time and they treat us like a five starts hotel and more. The amenities were as described. They have a hot tub, big pool, fire and pit, and the view of a lake were I did my yoga session. Is the perfect place in the middle of vineyards to relax and enjoy the nice weather. Thank you Melinda and Jerry, can’t wait to come back soon 💕
