- Cook together in the fully stocked chef’s kitchen, featuring new GE appliances with built-in air fryers, Keurig + electric kettle, blender, bakeware, and more. Between the large dining table, kitchen island, and upper deck, all 14 guests can dine together with ocean views.

- Unwind in the 6-person hot tub / spas while watching sailboats drift by or do stargazing at night. Pro tip: turn off the house lights for an unforgettable sky view - shooting stars can often be seen!

- The private pool is serviced regularly and can be heated to 88°F ($70/day). You’ll also find a beach toy bin with boogie boards, rafts, chairs, and crabbing nets — plus Turkish beach towels for guest use in the main bathroom closet.

- New propane firepit and string lights installed in 2026 to make the pool area even better! You can easily turn off the string lights if desired to enhance stargazing and watch for shooting stars!



Beach & Beyond

- Follow the boardwalk to pristine, uncrowded beaches where the sunrises are incredible. Have fun, rinse off in the outdoor shower, then enjoy relaxing time in the private pool and hot tub.

- Neighborhood extras include tennis courts (Memorial Day–Labor Day) and a lake with wildlife viewing — turtles, birds, even otters!

*** Please Note: Due to high demand, during the Summer Months (June 1st through August 30th) The Sandpiper only accepts 7-day bookings, either Saturday check in to Saturday check out, or Friday check in to Friday check out. There are only two openings left during the summer of 2026:

-- There is a rare two day opening on June 20th and 21st

-- There is one full summer week left, check in on August 15th, check out on August 21st

A newly generated door code is sent to guest the day of arrival.

Enjoy the fun filled community of St. Waves in Waves, NC. While vacationing here you'll enjoy the use of the community pool, tennis court and boardwalk to the beach. Take a bike ride or stroll through the neighborhood and check out the lake that is home to some playful ducks and a turtle or two.
