Metolius River Resort Cabin 4 Luxurious cabin on the Metolius River w/ fireplace

Like so many of our return guests, you will begin counting down the days until your next visit the moment you check out. Whether it’s a reprieve from your busy life or a romantic retreat, you will want to make cabin four a special tradition for years to come.

This spacious cabin has provides plenty of room to spread out and has more modern accommodations than you would expect from a rustic cabin retreat. The upstairs bedroom loft has a queen bed and a twin trundle bed (two twin beds) that are perfect for kids or a larger family. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and offers more privacy. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Our cabin is fully equipped with satellite TV, DVD, CD and VCR as well as everything you might need in the kitchen for a romantic dinner or a family holiday meal. Let the knotty pine throughout the interior envelope you in its natural elegance and warmth.

We are minutes away from a bounty of activities in every season including some of the most beautiful skiing and sledding areas around. There is nothing better than warming up by the river rock fireplace after a long day of skiing at Hoodoo or Mount Bachelor. After you experience the many wonderful things our cabin has to offer, you will want to make reservations to be on our list of returning guests.

Great cabin cozied up next to the Metolius

I've stayed here multiple times with friends and family. The cabin meets all our needs. The kitchen is nicely stocked with glasses and plates, the beds are comfy, the porch that overlooks the Metolius is divine. Pure heaven. What a wonderful spot.

Lovely stay

The venue at Matolius was serene and enjoyable. Anyone would enjoy and savor it. The cabin was well stocked. Our neighbors around us were lovely people with much to share. Your place is heavenly. The only suggestion is that the 6th bed is an inflatable stored under the day bed. That is OK but it was never mentioned as such. Thanks for the lovely weekend.

Cozy Cabin

With this cabin we had a terrific stay. Fully equiped kitchen, comfy couches and bed. A few downsides. Entering the cabin there's a smoke smell from the fireplace. For our own privacy and for neighbors we had to lower all blinds on the side windows. There was No working Wifi

Since the cabins are next to each other, it is best to lower the blinds in the evenings for privacy. We have not had any issues with WiFi since receiving this review and wish this guest had called for assistance with the matter during their stay.

Great location and comfortable and clean cabin

Located steps from Hola! And just across the bridge from the general store we thoroughly enjoyed cabin 4. It was in the 90s while we were there but the cabin stayed cool despite there being no a/c. We stayed two nights it was a quick but great getaway. On the way home we stopped at Suttle lake, rented a kayak, a paddle board and swam and then had a bite to eat. Before the drive back.

Relaxing vista

We enjoyed our stay we were there three nights. The home was very well equipped. We would sit out on the deck overlooking the river! Nice walks and hikes nearby. The only issue we had was the Internet was not strong enough for our needs, but they were able to accommodate us and we were able to get our work done as needed.

From the moment you enter this home, you realize the trip has been well worth it. The home is decorated with such detail that instantly takes you to a magazine style cabin. The kitchen is well stocked and the rustling Aspen trees and gurgling Metolius beckon you to sit in the Adirondack chairs on the deck. And the area is incredibly quiet with only an occasional car passing and crickets at night. If you need a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is your destination. It is also only steps away from the only restaurant in Camp Sherman@

Weekend on the Metolius

We stayed at the Metolius River Resort for the weekend and enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. We felt relaxed being in such a cozy cabin and right by the Metolius River. The walking path along the river was tranquil and sublime. We had deer in the green space by the river on our last morning. The setting was very kid friendly and we enjoyed walking to the store for treats and snacks. Can’t wait to return.

Comfortable cabin on the pristine Metolius River

The Metolius River is a pristine and gorgeous river, and these cabins are located only yards from the river. The cabins are comfortable and lovely with high quality furnishings and well-equipped kitchens, as well as small decks looking out toward the river. The cabins are quite close to each other, so one hears one's neighbors conversations and activities. Although the resort is advertised as having a no pets policy, and there are many signs on site regarding this, the policy is not being enforced. There were at least 2 dogs staying on the property, and several others passing through or visiting guests. Some of the dogs were permitted to roam the property freely and the owners were not consistent about cleaning up after them, so you had to watch where you stepped in the yard, to have an occasional visit (whether welcome or unwelcome) and to listen to barking. We found this to be unfortunate, and to detract from our enjoyment of the site. The location is great, close to some nice hikes and not too far from Sisters and Bend.

Fantastic time!

Cabin #4 was perfection!! A great cabin with lots of space. The furniture was nice and it was easy to feel at home. We had board games, electronic chargers, a great High-definition TV, and TONS of DVDs to pick from. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for my little ones and our family stayed at the resort (only a few doors away!). My family made multiple comments about the updated decor and warm feel of Cabin 4. It quickly became the spot to hang out. When we return, Cabin 4 will be our pick. Listen to the river through the open windows and on the back deck was so peaceful. Thank you for creating such a quaint and cozy retreat. I feel so rested and refreshed!
