Previously known as Sisters Home Lower, Sisters Retreat Lower offers a clean, modern space perfect for travelers looking to explore the beauty and charm of Sisters, Oregon. This ground-level one-bedroom unit is designed for those who plan to spend their time adventuring, dining, and enjoying everything the town and surrounding wilderness have to offer.

Please Note: This unit does not have a full kitchen.
There is no sink or stove, but the unit is equipped with a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker—perfect for simple meals or leftovers from one of the many amazing restaurants just steps away.

Location Highlights:

A short walk to downtown Sisters—restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shopping

Place was very clean and as advertised. It is downstairs and you do hear people waking around but no conversations are heard. No kitchen sink. All I had was a few spoons, knifes and bowls so no problem washing in bathroom sink. Really enjoyed my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with apartment above us and a smoke detector battery that kept going off but the manager quickly respond took care of the situation

Great location

This place is just blocks from everything you love about Sisters. 5 blocks to Angeline’s bakery which is our favorite!!! The one thing to know about this unit is that there is no sink in the kitchen. So washing dishes or getting water is done from the bathroom sink. Very doable but you assume that there would be a kitchen sink. The management company was great to work with and we’d stay here again.

It was hard to tell from the photos, but the only sink for this property is in the bathroom, which makes washing dishes a little odd. It’s also incredibly loud. You can hear every step the people above you take, especially if they have an animal. Also, their front door entrance for their stairs is basically at the foot of our bed and when their flight is turned on, it illuminates the bedroom. Terrible Design. There’s also no desk and we went to work there to remotely. We complained about all of these to management with no response. Would never stay here again.

Although I cancelled my stay on August 28th and 29th within the window for return of 50% of my fee, it was not forthcoming. This property is managed by Family Time Vacation but evidently under the VRBO business umbrella. I had a text exchange with one of the Family Time employees who told me he’d forward my request for a cancellation but it apparently didn’t happen. Luckily at that same time I also contacted VRBO directly and conveyed the same message both to a virtual assistant and to a person. I had to contact VRBO and convince them to intercede to get my monies back. This was a very annoying and time consuming process. Avoid this business.

It was good, but be aware of no laundry and kitchen sink

It was a great location, and it was nice it was dog-friendly. There were instructions for laundry, but no laundry area. That was fine and not really a big deal, but the ODDEST thing is that there is no kitchen sink. You have to pull a dish basket out and do the dishes (something required) in the bathroom sink, which honestly is kind of strange and slightly gross. Also, they did not provide soap, so we had to make an extra trip to the grocery store.

Overall a great stay

Was charged a pet fee when I did not bring a pet with me, in addition, there is mold on the cieling in the shower. Would advise ensuring people are bringing pets before charging pets fees and get that mold issue under control ASAP. Some people are highly sensitive to that. Otherwise, be aware the walls are really thin, you can hear everything, was pleased we had quiet upstairs neighbors. The cleaning person was louder than them.

Great place…..but

Great location & very clean! Enjoyed our stay but…..We had 1 major issue - if u have people upstairs above you, you won’t sleep. Anytime they walked around it was like elephants & you could hear them talking (or yelling in our case). If they were up late or up early……so were you! Also there is no sink in the unit. That didn’t matter to us because we didn’t need it but something to be aware of. Probably wouldn’t stay here again simply because we enjoy our sleep, especially when on vacation.

This unit is in a great location within walking distance to downtown Sisters. Check in was easy with a code to open the door. There is a smart TV with Netflix. We didn't use the kitchenette but it seemed thoughtfully stocked, although there is no sink in the kitchen. It could have been a little cleaner and the decor could be improved. It's a vacation rental with little personality which is probably totally fine for a lot of people. Biggest issue was how much you can hear the other unit. Footsteps from the upstairs unit are very loud and woke us up both mornings. There is another room off of the bedroom that is locked from this unit, seems to house the washer and dryer, we could hear people in there very clearly as well. Overall it was fine for a quick weekend stay but we wouldn't book again.

Great in town location

Clean, modern, easy going stay. We didn't want to cook, so only having a microwave and coffee pot was no problem. Would have been nice to have had a small sink in the kitchenette area. Only other concern were the slippery floors in the bathroom and bathtub. We were able to totally relax and enjoy our stay; used the great location to explore many of the wonderful sights, trails, and experiences of Central Oregon.

Perfect Loft-type residence!

This place was perfect for my needs! No kitchen but they had a nice coffee pot (with cofeee, sugar and creamers provided), microwave and toaster oven. The shower is huge and amazing. And the bedroom was very comfortable. The only issue I had is the thermostat continually reset to 58 degrees so I had to reset it a bunch of times. I would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again.
